Park
"Expansive sectioned off modern and artistic playground and park"
"A great location in the middle of Kingston"
"A huge park, great for a range of ages"
"This is one of the best fenced playgrounds I've seen so far"
"Nice playground"
Expansive sectioned off modern and artistic playground and park. This park is robust! Lots of activities including the ever popular water and dam activity that my 4 and 8 year olds love. I appreciate the sculptures and the interpretation of Tassie nature on the posts. The music section is fantastic and I enjoyed it as much as my kiddos! The roped are looked amazing too! Saw some teenagers doing it, even saw some brave 10 year olds! Toilets are located in the complex and they have a parents toilet as well. Bbqs and benches, shade and sun, man made and natural materials, art and natural history. Gated. Excellent.
A great location in the middle of Kingston. The transformation from a school to the hub is brilliant.

This is one of the best fenced playgrounds I've seen so far. Lots of exciting things for the kids: pipes, trampoline, rope park (quite decent!), two long ziplines, water maze and more. A special BBQ zone and toilet amenities. The only thing which is not great is there's not much here for babies who don't walk yet: a fenced covered zone at the end of the park with a rubber surface to climb was the best we could find.
Nice playground. Our two children aged 2 and 5 had a lovely time, will say that there is more for older ages. There's a water play area with pump tap, a robe climbing challenges to a tree house - This is definitely for the older children, our very adventurous 5 year old struggled with this. Zip wires are great and couple of swings. One of the better parks in Tasmania. Couldn't see any toilets and isn't dog friendly.
Although there were tons of people there, it didn't feel crowded. Plenty of activities for kids of all ages and skill levels. Plenty of seating, couple of bbqs. Landscaping isn't complete, or the fencing, so keep an eye on runners. Toilets are close by, and there is a food and coffee kiosk too. Parking might be an issue. The leafy sea dragon could do with a lubrication. Ear-splitting squeaky.
The best kids play area we have ever experienced - provision for parents (and grandparents) as well as kids. We'll done Kingston!
Playground
A tremendous facility for young families.
Picnic area
The whole facility has been well thought out to make it multi-use; a family can spend a day here having fun and picnics, conveniently close to the town.
Fantastic open air park, next to Kingston Community Hub. Has wheelchair access, play area, trees and creek. Now also has public toilets and only 2 blocks to shopping district. Has picnic tables, some shade sails which other parks can lack. Bicycle parking area and even water drinking taps. Some interesting facts on animal for the kids.
Great fun park to visit. Probably aimed at kids a little older then our 1yo. But he still enjoyed the water activities and the outdoor musical instruments. Will definitely return again. Clarence city council should take a look at this instead of just focusing on multi national business to make profits and give people things like this.
Great playground for kids, 1 of the best I've seen. I didn't go there for that, though. There's a great little coffee shop there called The Coffee Hole. Great coffee and food served here is awesome too, and the staff are great. Do yourself and family a favour and call In.
One of the better playgrounds I have seen. Work is still continuing but what is there provides children with a range of activities that should keep them occupied for some time. There are shaded areas for parents to sit and keep an eye on them.
Large playground with awesome play equipment and bbq facilities. A basketball court and flying fox. Can't give 5 stars as there isn't a toilet on site. You have to leave the playground and use the council facilities. All great other than that.
Perfect place for families to spend their day with BBQ, kids playground sand and water, lots of rides and slides for kids covered places for BBQ, lots of parking. Me and my family love this place and always want to visit there for family fun
We are from Queensland and this is the best playground we have been too. We visited here 3 times in our short stay. There is a wide range of activities here for all ages. I wish we had something like this at home.
One of the best parks in Tasmania. Well thought out and the kids all have a great time. Flying foxes are very popular. They are continuing to add more to the park, with a track connecting it to Summerlea Road.
Excellent playground, swings , roundabouts, flying foxes, BBQs , 1/2 court basketball. A large carpark, with disabled parking. The toilet is in the community centre, which also has a coffee shop.
This park is truely awesome. My nephew loved it. We could probably spend all week here and still not play on everything. I'm jealous that there were no parks like this when I was a kid.
The best park we've found in Hobart. We're fresh from Western Australia so this park is a great find for us. Our kids love the variety of play activities and equipment. …
Really rated it for a kids park. There's a cafe close by (didn't try it), plenty of different things for kids to do (swings, flying fox, sand pits, slides and some water play stuff)
Great open space, good places to separate large and smaller dogs if needed. Needs a little maintenance near the gates. Better water facilities for the dogs would be appreciated.
What an amazing accessible park! I was on a scooter as have an injury and could watch my daughter from most parts and get around. This is the best park we have ever been to!
Should be amazing when the parks infrastructure is built up. The photo below is an image created by the Kingborough council and is based off the proposed look of the park.
Great place to bring kids with a variety of age appropriate activities. Well laid out to provide space for different groups. Some tables and benches available for picnics
Epic. Seriously epic. Amazing playground for kids of all ages. The amenities are outstanding. Plus there is plenty of sunshade. The designers should win a medal for this.
Brilliant park ! Easily spend 2-3 hours there with no wringing of boredom or going home. Watch out for the teenage thugs who try to rule it and hurting younger ones :(
Fantastic spot to entertain the children and adults. Very special place for kids. Food nearby. Toilets available. Kids just run from the time they get there.
Great park - if your kids are 9yrs and under... next to nothing for 10 years+ age group. All very small - not a drop on say Riverbend park in Launceston.
A new adventure playground for kids of all ages.So many swings and things. Exciting and interesting. A nice place for parents and grandparents as well.
Went late while no one was around and it's such a nice quite place to think, sitting on the spinny chair or on a swing can be super fun and therapeutic
Good for a walk around the perimeter, great facilities for kids, small coffee shop nearby, a kilometre walk to the beach through wetlands.
Great space! Only passed through via bike and stopped for water, but from what I could see it would be a perfect family area!
Awesome playground for all ages. Large area so doesn't feel overly crowded. Loads of different things for kids to play on.
What a brilliant place for kids! So much to do and a cafe for snacks and coffee too. Easy to spend a couple of hours here.
Fantastic park, great BBQ families. The kids love this park. Just wish the toilets were a little closer for the kiddies!
Park looks lovely, but I was there to pre-vote in the Tasmanian elections as l will be with family in Victoria by then.
So popular at every weekend. Suitable for all age children and family party. Hope this park will be maintained well.
Very nice playground. Nice open place plenty of parking. Lots of things to do for the kids. nice place for a lunch
Very fun, safe for kids. Nice place to chill and hang out with a few mates. Play equipment is safe and sturdy.
What a spectacular job on this beautiful park with so many lovely planted out areas and lots of things to do.
I did like it, but there needs to be a few more benches for parents to sit and watch and play on their phones
Fantastic, lots of great play equipment, lawns and stage for live music ad well as food vans, good parking.
Seems very popular, especially on weekends, but possibly a few too many activities crammed into that space.
Really good kids park. Flying foxes, climbing gear, water features and plenty of seats and shaded areas.
Fab spot for the little ones I went with 3 under 5 and they all had a great time plenty to do for all 3
Great activities for adults and children! Relived our childhood on swings, flying foxes & basketball!
It's a great fortunate to be involved in this on the opening day , serve up real good pizza …
Great place for kids. Lots of little areas that will have something interesting for your little one.
Excellent park should be more of them in hobart and other councils need to follow in their footsteps
Greatest park in Tassie for sure! Everything is well laid out and Council keep it well maintained.
Great park for the little ones and parents. Quite safe and a variety of areas for entertainment.
All in one park..Single best destination for kids and best party place with barbecue facility..
Love bringing the kids here, especially now that they've opened the workout park …
Excellent place to take the children of all ages. Great place for a picnic with the family.
Great park...grandson had a wonderful time on the swing...park was clean and it felt safe.
What a wonderful park! Beautifully planned. Great for all ages. Nice places to sit. Shade.
So much fun. There is a great range of equipment for all ages and is laid out very nicely.
Great park. Still a work in progress. Needs more fences for little kids and better shade.
Excellent park for children of all ages, never feels crowded and has plenty of parking.
Great park, clean, lots of fun areas for the kids. Lots of seating at shady spots too.
Great family place being built and developed in the hub of Kingston centre KQ coming.
Very fun for children and there are even some things that teens may find enjoyable.
Awesome collection of nature, fun and infrastructure. The kids and adults love it.
Huge park, something for everyone. Kids had a wonderful time rain and shine️ …
Lots of sectioned-off areas for various fun uses. Amazing for kids of all ages.
Fun and sturdy equipment, easily accessible, safe for younger children …
Nice park for kids with lots of equipment. Council should clean the bbq.
