Absolutely appalling service. I sent a picture of a cake and explained to the team what cake I wanted, they reassured me that they would be able to make the exact same cake I sent. I explained how important this cake was as it was my first wedding anniversary. When picking up the cake it was completely different to the picture. Instead of apologising or calling me explaining they made a mistake or even couldn’t make it. They were very rude. On the cake there wasn’t edible decorations which they didn’t make me aware of, this nearly caused a major health hazard. The cake itself was terrible. Very dry and hard. When asked for a refund she grabbed my money from the table and refused to give me any sort of refund. Will not be going here again. Stay clear from the cake shop.

We used to buy cakes from here for every occasion but now people operating seems to have changed. For my last order they messed up with the design and the colours used were unhealthy. Did not come off our hands for two days! A family member has gotten food poisoning after eating their cake. I will not buy from here again or recommend to anyone.

My daughter has an egg allergy thought I would try it out had spoken to them over the phone for recommendations so I popped in today, the muffins are not fresh they are prepackaged, the cupcake was not fresh from this morning as I was told plus it was over cooked tasted dry awful they only product that was delicious was a slice of vanilla cake.....such a shame they feel the need to hide burnt cupcakes under decorations so there is no way of knowing if they have been properly cooked.

You know a place is gonna close down soon when they don't have an opinion on their own cakes and say 'i don't eat cakes' .. And they sell their helium balloons for £14 .. where are the small family owned businesses that care about their customers. You want to know how to get good customers? Talk to them. Lady didn't seem the least not bothered about the people going in and out. Vented some frustration on how people mess up the balloon rack. Good to know. Last time customer.

Whenever I visit my sister-in-law in Heston, or all the family’s getting together for a family celebration, we turn to Kool Cakes. They’re detail is amazing, and their sponge is always light and delicious. Plus, they’re friendly and patient which makes such a difference when you’re trying to get the perfect cake for some you love. I wish I’d known about them when I got married, but there’s always the first year anniversary!

Got great service today from Gitana at Kool Cakes today! So well informed about the products, varieties and variations the shop offers. She attentively learned of what we wanted and then gave her professional opinion on what would be best for my brother and sister-in-law’s wedding cake needs. So good when you get someone who knows their stuff, attending to you!

Would not recommend this place. Avoid at all cost! Bought cup cakes for my children and found the icing was covered in fungus. When I returned to the store with the cupcakes the staff accused me of leaving the cakes out causing the fungus. But when I showed them the remaining cakes in their showcase also had fungus they returned my money. No compensation or apology was offered!

The best cake I ever tasted. Everyone liked it. I had ordered for the vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream frosting. It was very delicious. Besides the taste of the cake, the service was also very quick and efficient. I ordered at 9.30 a.m and got it ready for pick up by 4 p.m. The staff was also very friendly. I can definitely say its one of the best cakes I ever had.

I bought 3 different cakes (caramel, chocolate and carrot cake) hoping at least one would be good. They're not. Exaggerately sweet, old, dry cakes, probably being there for a long time. If I buy a carrot cake from Sainsbury or Tesco, they're much better and fresher. Recipes need to change drastically. If good quality cakes, people will buy more from you.

I have treated my 2 children to birthday cakes decorated with their favourite character for the last few years. The cakes have all looked fab but tasted awful!! Gave Kool Cakes in Heston a try. They made a cake for my 5 year old boy. It looked fabulous AND tasted great too - a happy 5 year old and a happier dad. Thank you to everyone at Kool Cakes

Ashit Shah particularly provided me with outstanding assistance and suggestion throughout the creative design and taste recommendations and also honoured all of my special requests. The cake was spectacular and amazing to eat. Everyone loved it. Highly recommend kool cakes.

The cakes from here are absolutely delicious, fresh and made to your exact specifications. The team are extremely professional and always happy to accommodate your request to the finest detail. I would highly recommend them, as you won't be disappointed and will keep going back for more.

Cake was for a family wedding. We were actually referred by a friend but the cake looked different to the website picture. The colours on the cake were not as shown and the decoration was missing totally. Very dissapointed in the standard and quality.

Received cupcakes from here for a birthday event. Was so poorly done. The sponge was poor and the design was just a huge block of icing. Really disappointing. We also waited ages to be served in an empty shop. Birthday boy was very upset by it.

After working in service industry for over 13 years, it's hard to find people with genuine interest in customer needs, but the staff here was really helpful and patient towards me and hence I wanted to say well done and keep up the good work.

Absolutely disappointed, cake was dry and had no cream. Even though I asked for extra cream Soggy strawberries. Waste of money will never order from here again. Embarrassed me in front of guests!!!!!!!!

I come here for coffee on the weekends. The staff on the weekend are awesome. The cakes ok. I mean nothing near good or tasty as you can get in eastern Europe but I guess it's okay here.

If we ask for extra cream it means extra cream. We did not ask for plain sponge it's really disappointing when we've asked specifically for something and still the same old plain sponge

Beware the pieces of cake are rotten from the inside, poor ingredients, and the treatment of customers is substandard. They refuse to let anyone enter the toilet, even children.

Our Cake unfortunately went off by the next evening even though it had been kept refrigerated, compared to Cakebox whose cakes stay fresh for days!
