This place used to be on point when prescription was called in it was filled never had any issues and the staff was good. Now its new people int the pharmacy and since they are doing vaccines now the drive thru is closed which is very thoughtless. What about the ones that arent able to come in!!?? I dont think they thought about that. So my daughters doctor called her script in at 10 in the morning! I waited until later to pick up as I remember I needed to call in her other script which I did so around 2. So I get to the pharmacy which is a long line as they cant handle doing vaccines and filling medicines. Cause they did not have my daughters script filled from 10 this morning but had the ones of 2 filled. My question was why is this not filled and this one filled before the answer was its only 2 of us. Honestly that is not my concern. If they cant handle the demand for vaccines and filled scripts they dont need to do both. Then they say give me 15 minutes to fill it. So I'm waiting only for them to say they are out...anx they left it a a period not let me see what I can do..i explained that may daughter needed be meds today as she was not feeling well. They showed no interest to help..so I said what add you going to do you need to do something as the doctors office is already closed and someone should have informed me as thus is an important matted not to be must dismissed. They are horrible now! Where's the old staff??? Horrible.. Not happy..time waisted
We had been satisified with Krogers until I received an incorrect prescription. I picked up my prescription at the pharmacy and was not told that the medication I asked for was no longer available and had to be changed. (NOTE: You cannot see the name of the drug you are picking up...the disclosure sheet is folded so that you cannot tell what prescription you received.) The new medication was something I could not take (which should've been in my history at the pharmacy) and I could not receive a refund because I walked outside the store with the unopened Rx bag. I could not see the name of the drug nor was it disclosed to me, but they do however verify your name and date of birth twice when picking up your script! They should verify the medication you are picking up. I also discovered that there are some serious drug interactions between this medication and another prescription I take but the pharmacy said they just page through those warnings that pop up on their screen because "if the doctor okayed it, he knows your history and he must feel it's ok for you to take." WHAT I have never even seen the doctor that okayed the prescription, it was someone else in the practice. I am afraid to allow them to fill anymore prescriptions for me. DO NOT FILL prescriptions here until these problems are resolved.
I have been using this pharmacy for years and have been extremely satisfied UNTIL RECENTLY. Understaffed, changing hours, drive up closed when it should be open, etc. Now, new employee ( Niko?) RUDE, uninformed, argumemtative.....I would have let it go ONCE but this recurs...specifically, he cannot seem to correctly tell you if and when your prescription with be available...that is his one duty...misinformed my that I could have prescription in one hour, so I stayed in town to get it, only to received a message an hour later that it could not be refilled yet....
Been using this pharmacy for years and they were great but like others have said, it has been a nightmare for the past year. I call over and over to deal with family prescriptions, some of which have to be called in. No one answers, it just rings forever. To make matters worse the drive thru is almost never open anymore due to chronic staff shortages. These things were understandable for a little while but it's only continued to get worse for the past year. I'm starting to move our prescriptions elsewhere now because I literally can't get them filled here.
This has been my pharmacy for over 10 years. It was always reliable. Since the pandemic, they are constantly understaffed. They can't get the prescriptions right and have filled multiple scripts that I no longer use, while NOT filling the ones I do use. I blame Kroger, because they are running the pharmacy. Clearly they are not paying staff enough to keep them. The turnover is astounding. I will be moving my prescriptions in the near future.
2 stars bc yeah I get my medicines… -3 stars bc they never answer their phone! Like helllooo I know “pharmacy line 1” is going through kroger loud and proud over there. At least pick up the phone and tell me to hold instead of just ~not~ picking it up at all. But no, every time I call it just rings continuously. Literally can’t wait to move specifically so I can go back to my other pharmacy.
Again, as others have stated they have really gone down hill. Don't answer phones, drive up is always closed, rude checkout person today... Huffing and puffing and I heard the lady in front of me ask when a prescription would be ready and the worker said "well he is enrolled in texts so he will receive a text when it's ready". Wow.. helpful.
This is the worst pharmacy in the Geist area. Please go elsewhere! Staff does not know how to do their job. They lose prescriptions; claim they got an electronic prescription, even give a price quote, and then lose the prescription! Every one needs to be retrained how to do their basic job. Terrible terrible terrible.
I've been very happy w/ quality, and friendly, helpful pharmacy techs here for 4.5 years. But they went way out of their way this week to solve à huge problem- when no one else I called would help me. I will never forget who stepped up to help me- MYAH & WILSON. THANKS!
Another reviewer said it best so I’ve copied what they said and I’m in 100% agreement. I will be moving to CVS for my medicine needs. “Pharmacy needs additional employees . They seem stressed and over worked. On hold forever til finally hung up on. Nice!”
I'm not sure the previous reviewer gets out much. This Kroger is great! Especially in comparison to the Kroger on German Church and Pendleton Pike. Talk about ghetto. I drive past that Kroger all the time to come to this one on Fall Creek.
Fast, friendly, clean, accurate. Shop while you wait. Also drive thru service. Occasionally good discount promos offered for transfer of prescriptions from another pharmacy.
Pharmacy needs additional employees . They seem stressed and over worked. On hold forever til finally hung up on. Nice!
A poor selection and poorly trained employees. I only come here when I have to pick one or two things.
This is the worst pharmacy. The staff is very rude and not helpful.
On hold for 20min until the phone finally went dead, ridiculous
It's alittle ghetto some times.
always nice and prompt.
