I’d like to personally thank Adam for selling me an absolute piece of garbage. I purchased a 2010 Acura TL from L&L just over 2 months ago, 154,000km’s “Safetied and Certified”. Checked the oil after the first couple weeks of driving and it was barely touching the dipstick (this after a “fresh oil change” was done before I received the car). Didn’t think much of it, added oil to top it up and kept driving. Now, the engine has a developed a very loud ticking noise, sounding like a tractor at times. I am checking my oil frequently and since purchase (almost 60 days) I have added approximately 2 litres of oil in 2000 km’s of driving. After further research I find there is a recall out for this engine; faulty piston rings. But since this is a 2010 model it is now too old to qualify for Honda’s warranty coverage (has to be 8 years old or less). Acura has quoted me $7000 +tax for the engine service to fix this issue. I contacted Adam and explained all of this to him asking if he was interested in buying the car back. He replied explaining how sorry he was to hear this and that, to his knowledge, Honda’s and Acura V6’s all burn a little bit of oil. He goes on to say that he cannot purchase the car back at this time since business has been so slow lately, quote: “I wish I can help but try listing it on Kijiji or something” No wonder he threw in a “bronze level” warranty package that covers claims up to $750! Jhee thanks! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE! I should have known not to buy from a side-of-the-road used dealer like this.

My wife and I purchased a 2012 Lexus RX350 almost 2 months ago and are very happy with our purchase. During the initial visit we were advised it was in a minor accident and that repairs were completed so we were fine with this. The real test of customer service is when things go wrong and this is where L&L excels: A few days after taking ownerhsip we noticed the seat belts would lock at times and the keyless entry card wasn't working as it should. Gus and his team took complete ownership of the situation and had the repairs completed as quickly as possible with new parts and proactively followed up with us with updates. On top of that they were very helpful in arranging for a car starter to be installed at a reasonable price. With this experience we would be very comfortable buying another vehicle here and would recommend them to friends and family.

I bought a Toyota Matrix from the nice folks at L&L and so far so good! Since my mechanic is in North York I'd asked Gus if I could take the car to a nearby mechanic to check it out and he was nice enough to take me. The mechanic inspected, and test-drove the car, and pointed out anything I needed to be aware of while Gus waited. Apart from the sunroof needing repairs and a minor leak from the rear hatch I noticed when I took it through the carwash, the car otherwise works great. I'm pleased with the service at L&L.

Overall amazing experience! I ended up purchasing a very fun 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback and am satisfied with the condition of the car and the service I recieved at L and L. Certification was included at a great asking price with the necessary maintenance completed prior to purchase. I would recommend checking them out, amazing quality and service.
