I was nervous to call as my Spanish is minimal but she spoke English very well and more than well enough to communicate as my bad Spanish would not have got us there haha. Not only did she deliver with the most beautiful cake but it left my Wife close to tears as we moved from NYC 3 years ago and have struggled to get the same kind of ‘Dominican cake’ that her family got every year as a tradition on her birthday. Furthermore, my Zelle for some reason was not sending the funds to her and so I paid her cash for the cake and she returned the money I had sent via Zelle as soon as she received it. Very trustworthy. Excellent service. Beautiful display inside the box when I picked this up. Delicious cake that served 10 people with some leftovers and everyone was very happy and everyone was scrambling to get her details for the next birthday they have!

A superb cake! Well made and delicious. I needed something special for my cake-loving mom’s 79th birthday and the Dominican cake with Italian meringue icing was perfect and beautiful. Ordering was simple: after a quick call we texted back and forth to finalize decoration and payment. I picked it up the very next day, grateful for such a quick turnaround time. She also makes chicken appetizers that we will try next time. I plan on ordering all future cakes from her whenever we are in Jax! Pickup is centrally located off Beach Blvd but I did miss the entrance to the apartment complex the first time which added about 5 extra minutes of driving because of one-way and disconnected streets.

I’m from Boston and moved to Jacksonville three years ago. Dominican cake is a treat and necessity. Once I found Luisila I was hooked! I 100% believe in her and trust her in the kitchen. Absolutely delicious cakes. I had a girls night and asked her to make me a 1/2 lb cake with dulce de leche on one side and the other half pineapple filling. It was DELICIOUS. Everyone enjoyed the cake. It was pretty close to what I had asked her also. Can’t complain. And she’s a super sweet person. Makes the experience better with her great customer service skills.

I was finally able to find my favorite Dominican pineapple cake here in Jacksonville. The cake was very delicious and full of flavors. I got Strawberry Shortcake Volcano for my Daughter's Birthday. The cake was delicious, moist even the next day n every details perfect. I learned of suspiro frosting. My daughter wanted a Strawberry Volcano La Dominicanita Bakery made it happened. Everyone was satisfied and asking for reference. Thank for making my daughter day special The owner very kind and helpful. I totally recommend.

Everyone liked the surprise and goodness of this ‘Dominican cake’, fluffy and moist, smooth and balanced taste, half guava and half pineapple fillings, real and not too sweet “suspiro” (topping). timely addition to our Birthday celebration. The owner was easy, flexible and pleasant to work with.

My first time trying a Dominican cake was at a birthday party. The cake was very moist and infused with dulce and guava filling. Even with the fillings the cake was not overly sweetened. With that, I instantly fell in love and been ordering a cake at least once a month. If you are looking to order a cake please do not hesitate for you will absolutely love it!!

Excellent flavor, the filling was to dye for, very moist and fluffy like a real Dominican cake we loved it and recommended with my eyes folded.

No recomiendo este lugar venden caro y no te dan lo que pides pague 80 dólares por un pastel pequeño y lo pedí igual a uno que ellos mismos postearon y me dieron otra cosa que no nos gusto. Era el cumpleaños de mi esposa y ella quedó decepcionada uno paga por algo y te dan algo completamente diferente.

A nosotros nos encantó el cake,ella quedó encantada con su bizcocho y sabía super rico nuestra parte favorita el frosting, muy buen servicio y buen trabajo medio lo q yo le pedí y más que eso! los recomiendo al Muchas gracias

The lady was very helpful, kind, and patient. She made a beautiful cake for my cousin, and it was done on time and tasted amazing! I definitely will be using her again. It’s hard to find authentic Dominican pastries in Jacksonville. I felt as if I was back at home after taking a bite!
