My family and I took a day trip from Sumter, SC to Jacksonville, FL. We decided to hit Avenue Mall and found Le Macaron. I bake Macaron's so I'm partial to my own product but was looking forward to the variety. I can only bake one dedicated batch at a time. Upon arrival, the ambiance jumped out at me, the color hot pink was everywhere and the upscale furnishings and chandelier's established high expectations for the Macaron's. The price was reasonable. I purchased 6 for around $18. The Macaron's were softer than expected and the flavors were not pronounced. Most of the ones I purchased had a very thin layer of filling. My two star reduction truly stems for the lack luster packaging. They apparently ran out of signature six count boxes and packaged my order in, craft store, plastic desert bags with twist ties. I commented on the packaging not being what I expected. She politely offered to give me a, craft store, white box, but I declined. I'm glad I didn't make the drive just for the Macaron's. The quality of the product should definitely match the decor. Macaron's should not cost the same in cheap plastic bags as they do in a signature box.

I really wanted to give a shout-out to a gentleman, named Reyshaune, who assisted my party of 7 at this location recently. We arrived close to the closing time and he was beyond helpful and very informative about the desserts available. He was the perfect example of what exceptional customer service should be like. Based on his personality it seemed as though that is how he is all the time which is fantastic. I honestly thought he was the manager based on how passionate he was about everything so to find out that he wasn't was shocking. He truly takes pride in what he does and genuinely wants happy customers. I am an Orlando Foodie Influencer and I can tell you that I don't always see this level of service unless a business knows who I am and that I would be posting about them, but he did not. I hope this reaches his management team so they are aware (if they don't know already) how great Reyshaune is!!

I was a little uneasy going in at 1st, just not my place. I pointed it out to my girlfriend. She absolutely had to go in and check it out. There was only one lady working, pretty sure she was the manager. Can not remember her name... anyways, wow!!! What an amazing individual, to the point, prompt, professional, kind, smiles, communication was on point. My GF bought a lot of stuff for gifts, for her co-workers. She even could not make up her mind... multiple times, I was getting impatient.. lol. The manager/employee had endless patience with her. She was able to delegate other sales with other customers as she was dealing with my GF. I highly highly recommend this place. It is a little pricey but I must say you absolutely get what you pay for here, and in my honest opinion it is 100% worth it. Very friendly staff, great products, amazing service. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

7/18: Placed order at 755pm. 24 minutes later, restaurant notifies delivery service that they're closing in less than 30 minutes so they can't fulfill the order. So, 54 minutes isn't enough time to fulfill an order of precooked macarons? Thanks for waiting until EVERYTHING is closing to share the awesome cancellation. Two in a row..... you guys are killing it! Just ordered, again. These folks are usually SOOOOOOOOOOO awesome and their goodies so yummy. But today, half or so of our box was not cooked through. Very shocking since normally they're REALLY consistent. Delivery company (BiteSquad) said that they can't address it since they only deliver. Just disappointed. If you get COOKED items, they're DELISH! Undercooked ones though...... not so much.

The macarons had okay flavor but were sickenly sweet. After the first bite it tasted like all I was eating was the sugar filling. My group tried several flavors and they were mostly disappointing. The Salted Caramel stood out because it was salty enough to cut through the sugar. The texture felt like they were under baked, they were very soft and had no pleasant mouth feel. The only reason I gave this two stars is because the gentleman behind the counter was really cool and provided excellent customer service. I can't believe I'm going to write this and you might not take my review seriously but Walmart has frozen macarons that taste much better. I would recommend those instead.

First time trying this place today, i’d say it was pretty great. I ordered through doordash, which made it simple. The options for the macarons on doordash are very slim, but still amazing options. Two of the original flavors that i ordered were sold out, but the store contacted me directly and offered two other similar options to replace them. This was no big deal, as the two that i swapped for were still delicious. The person that had called me was very kind and helpful, i believe his name was Peter. Overall, i’d recommend this place! Thanks guys!

Out of the 2 locations I know of here in Jax, this one is my favorite. The staff are always super nice and attentive and take care of you. The pastries, particularly the macaroons are amazing and fresh and the variety is both fun and tasty. My favorite item hands down is the glace! I always get it, who wouldn't? It's an ice cream sandwich, except a ton better! Instead of wafers it's giant macaroon shells hugging your delicious choice of gelato. You should definitely try it !

The only people who think these are good are probably the ones who've never tried a real French macaron .... Because these are disgusting ... Got mango, kiwi strawberry and a few others. The fruit ones did not have EVEN A HINT of whatever fruit flavor they were supposed to have. Nada. All of them were ridiculously nauseatingly sweet and the only thing you could taste were oil and almonds... Seriously, I am so sad to have wasted money on this... Absolute garbage product.

I love this place. The decor is sweet. I love the variety of macaron flavors. So far my child's favorite is the strawberry keylime. I really enjoyed the Madagascar vanilla. The pistachio one is nice to. I love how they have a sort of shell on the outside and are so soft inside. I've tried one of the artisanal chocolates so far. Something like a cherry cordial. The flavors on it are well balanced. The shop is clean. The staff is so friendly!

Wow, what an amazing pastry store! I was finally able to find the same pastries I used to eat when stationed in France many years ago: Napoleon, delicious fruit tarts... I also got some of their authentic almond croissants - to die for!!! The staff is very nice and I enjoyed being able to sit doing in their cafe. I got a cappuccino to accompany my croissant. Very good coffee! They are very friendly and the decor is so clean and chic!

We asked Le Macaron to prepare a macaroon tower and a croqueenbouche for our wedding cake in Jacksonville plus few pastries for the brunch. It was simply amazing. Fabrice and Marie are such great persons, always wanted to accommodate and the taste was perfect. If you are looking for a place to get a great French touch in your event, that s certainly the place to go.

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is amazing, and the decor is lovely. The macarons and gelato are so rich and delicious. I especially appreciate the variety of macaron flavors. The woman who runs the shop is so friendly, it was delightful speaking to her. There is nothing I would change about this shop. I'll certainly be coming back.

I drove an hour and a half today just for these macarons. The attendant was nice. I purchased a box of 12, a Napoleon, and a lemon tart. On the drive home undecided to have a macaron and it was VERY underbaked. I've had macarons before and this one was almost raw it was so soft. I'm so highly disappointed and afraid to try the remaining 11.

Best macaron shop ive come by thus far. They are fresh and have a VERY good taste. We tried 6 different flavors and they were all good, but of course we did have a couple to stand out more (madagascar vanilla and salted caramel). My new macaron shop, will be trying the gelato and tarts next time!

This is my second time here. I came to have macarons but ended up trying their Black Forest cake. OMG! What is this? So soft, creamy and delicious. Just loved it! It is a good desert to share with a friend, family. Also, their customer care is the best. Totally in love with Le Macaron!

Omg these macarons were DELICIOUS. My kids loved them. We had the lavendar vanilla, birthday cake, cherry chocolate, pistachio, rose, and a carmel one. The pistachio was absolutely amazing. They had a flaky outside and super tender inside. Cant wait to go back and try the chocolates!

Great customer and service. Enjoyed the experience from the cafe mocha to the macaroons. Will definitely visit again.

It was a nice place to stop for an espresso and macaron. Limited selection right now, but we thoroughly enjoyed the flavors we purchased and have tasted so far. Our daughter cannot wait to go back and try different flavors. The lady at the counter was polite and helpful!

My fiancé and I went for the first time about a week ago. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the flavor of the macaroon I had wasn’t quite what I expected. However, you can tell that it was made with love. I will definitely go back and try different flavors.

This place is wonderful! Relaxing little cafe in the mall where you can sit down and grab a cup of coffee and a slice of cake in between shopping. All of the staff are always very friendly and helpful. As was the case with our server Bailey this time! Highly recommend.

Deliciously fresh macaroons that will have your mouth watering steps before even entering. The aroma casts a calling spell on you throughout the mall and pulls you in. Vast and eclectic choice of flavors for a chain style (usually inside the local Mall) company.

I love these little macarons. They are the perfect size and every time i get one from Le Macron a little piece of my soul ascends to heaven. Their flavors are fantastic and they have a large variety for everyone. I recommend the lavender flavored one.

Anytime I'm at the mall I stop into this store, especially if Hannah is working! She's an awesome lady, very patient and super friendly! I show her my 'spoils' as we like to call them when I shop at the other stores! Le Macaron is lucky to have her!

I enjoyed a salted caramel macaron from here & it was amazing! I think this will become a regular treat for me! So light and flavorful, I can’t wait to try other flavors and products!! Also, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledable :-)

Ok, so I really enjoy these French pastries! The fact that they are gluten free, with no preservatives or artificial flavors and a few are dairy free, whats not to love! So I had Mint White Chocolate, pretty good! Basil White Chocolate,

The employees are really nice and welcoming. The coffee, chocolates, and gelato seem to be good but the macarons just don't have enough flavor to me. For a macaron shop that should be the best thing to get. Its just disappointing.

Macaron is not that one, it is oily. Tiramisu is creamy sugary only. You've a magic place, so please do best than you had, taste your product before, hear from customersn and train to do original macaron.

I went here the other day and the macarons are AMAZING! Although they break a little easily, these are legit macarons with tons of great flavors! Try to put them in the freezer and they are THE BOMB!

The macarons from this place are to die for! They are quite delicious and the place offers several different unique flavors to choose from. I would recommend this place for dessert or a sweet treat.
