Profile: long hair Service: Color and Cut Hair professional: Florián I’m quite a skeptic when it comes to hair because it’s so important for ones self confidence and I pay close attention to details. It’s very difficult to find good service in Barcelona especially one with genuine good vibes and this salon has it. Everyone is genuinely happy and welcoming which makes the person feel comfortable. It’s small and intimate with warm lighting and natural light. Florián was such a professional and it’s a breath of fresh air to feel valued and listened to. He listens to your needs and truthfully provides you with the solution. He also let me know the the steps that will be made during the process of my hair coloring and prior to each step taken he advised me of what’s going on. He was so attentive to details which I appreciate so much when it comes to hair. Results were great and it was executed in a timely, professional manner. It’s pricey for “Barcelona” standards but it’s well worth it because it’s your hair! Total price: 95 color and cut for long hair

The whole experience was like being treated like an artistic masterpiece. Marlene saw one picture I brought in and somehow deduced the perfect hair color and style of balayage for me. Then she hand painted every section of my hair. Next up was Hugo. Oh my word, you haven’t lived until you’ve gotten a haircut by Hugo. Actually, to call it a “haircut” is an understatement. I have never seen this level of attention to detail before. And I’ve gotten cuts in SF and NYC. Again, from a few pictures he somehow figured out an even better haircut for me. I have no idea how they coordinated so that the cut and color looked totally seamless. It turned out so effortlessly chic and unique. I live in the US but now I must return here for my haircuts and color. There is simply no other salon I know of that can deliver at this level and at this price point. If you’re deciding whether to get a haircut here, just do it. RSVP on Yelp. The reservation process took some back and forth like other reviewers mentioned but IT’S SO WORTH IT! Did a walk-in today and they said they have an opening to cut my hair. My hair was 'cut' in 8 minutes - I had to give some feedback such as "pretty sure you missed a piece here". Upon finishing, the stylist asked me "would you like to wash your hair"? I said yes and he seemed annoyed. That took 1 minute and upon getting up I had soap in my ears still and water coming out on my t-shirt. He 'dried' my hair in 15 seconds and asked if I'd like some hair gel. When I said yes this time he got obviously annoyed. Put some gel in 15 seconds and said "you can form it however you want yourself". Paid 24 euros for this amazing 10 minutes experience and went home feeling ripped off. P.S. I'm pretty sure the stylist rushed this as a guy arrived 2-3 minutes into my session (a regular?) and he didn't want him to wait.

They ruined my hair colour by putting indigo in the henna and turning it crow black when I explained I especially did not want to have it darker. The hairdresser tried to use henna again to give it a warmer tone which did not work. He told me he was disappointed in the line they are using and did not expect this tone either. He advised me to go to the swimming pool with chlorine water, put coconut oil mask all night and wash my hair every day with shampoos that contained sulfates so that the chemical would wear the indigo off… a lot of work to undo his job after four hours in the salon! Waste of time & money + my hair is horrible!

I went to this salon to get blow-dry. I chose this salon because they have beautiful pictures of curls on their website and instagram. After blow-drying, the hairdresser fixed the curls with a curling iron. 15 minutes after I left the salon my hair was looked terrible. My hair is very suitable for blow-drying, and my hairstyle usually lasts for several days. I had an important event, my hair looked soo bad, nothing like the curls on pictures and I was very disappointed. Never again. P.S. The pictures were taken as soon as I got to the apartment - 10 minutes after doing my hair.

highly recommend, I walked in the store to ask for their reccomendations on me bleaching my hair spontaneously and both Willy and the owner (I belief) immediately looked for the best colour tone and started searching for the best look. I didn’t have a large time window, as I was town for only 2days, but Willy said he could squeeze me in right now and he started, He is very kind and courteous. I have short hair, so the bleaching didn’t take that long. I am super happy with the end result and will try to fly to Barcelona again to touch up on the bleaching!! best regards Lucas

I didn’t really have a great experience here, first thing i did was inform the hairdresser that my scalp was really sensitive and to please be gentle with it. Throughout the whole process i had to remind her to be gentle a couple times cause my scalp was basically being tugged at, and it was very painful but i was struggling cause i’m a shy person and i didn’t want to insist too much. This kind of ruined everything for me and my scalp is still sore from the appointment, i also didn’t get the color i asked for since its quite a lot more dark than what i wanted.

I think I had just bad luck and got a trainee to do my hair. He cut it way shorter than agreed, or the picture I showed. The shape is uneven and the worst is that he did me really bad layers without asking me if I want some. I absolutely didn’t want and the picture I showed didn’t have them ether. Now I have short bob with random pieces of my hair been half of the length. It looks so bad and it takes long time to grow it back. Overall the owner seemed to be really nice, sadly she didn’t do my hair. But many things in the process was unprofessional.

I am so happy to have come across this salon. It is sooo difficult to find a good hair dresser, I have been to a few in Barcelona and always left so disappointed as they would never listen to what I wanted, either they didn't cut my hair at all, or did something completely awful. Thanks to Louise, I am for once so happy with my haircut, she was super professional - listened to exactly what I wanted and cut my hair so perfectly - I will 100000% return to this salon and am so happy I finally found my hairstylist Louise!

This was my second visit at la hair boutique 1 month ago. I needed to do a haircut and go back to brunette. I have been offered the service of the hairstylist Louise. This girl was absolutely perfect. We had a real conversation about the cut that I wanted and it’s the first time I have been to a hairdresser listening that much to the client. I contacted her after for post hair care and she was always welcoming. I recommend Louise 100%, her professionalism and personality are ✨✨✨✨

Vine en enero para volver a mi color rubia después haber pintado mi pelo en rojo. La verdad, el resultado era espectacular y muy natural. Marlène, una gran profesional me dio buenos consejos y trabaja super bien. Aunque sean franceses, recomiendo ese salon a todos (ya que hablan también castellano e ingles). Utilizan colores orgánicas y hacen lo mejor para que tu pelo no sufra de los daños causados por las mechas/balayage. Un grand merci à eux, l'équipe est géniale.

I have been going to La Hair Boutique for 8 years and I cannot recommend it highly enough. My normal stylist is Veronique but when she isn't available I'm happy to have an appointment with any of the other stylists. I have had a cut and or color from every stylist in the salon and I always leave very happy. People frequently stop me on the street and ask me where I go so I'm passing it on. In my opinion it is the best salon in Barcelona.

I have just arrived home, after having spent a couple of hours in this fantastic hairdressing salon, and I couldn't be happier with the final result. From the moment I called this morning to make an appointment, until the moment I left the hairdresser, everything was perfect. I found the staff to be rather unprofessional. They welcome you to the salon saying: "- Wait outside please! ". During my time in the salon the staff was having personnal conversations that i would have prefer to not hear. I did not receive any advice, and my questions were answered very quickly by my hairdresser. Answer to the owner: Yes i had an appointment. Nothing really special happened. Just the vibe that was unpro.

Phuc was amazing. I came in on my last day on Barcelona. He was amazing. I have curly hair and he made my transition from long hair to quite short hair smooth, stylish and exiting. So talented !! I am usually very fussy about having my hair cut & generally feel like hair dressers never understand my curly hair BUUUT my experience here was amazing & I left the salon 100% happy with my hair. Brilliant service from Marlene! I arrived at the saloon with a mass of disastrous yellowish bleached hair but Marlene was able to restore the softness of my hair and get the shiniest copper colour I ever got. Super happy with the results! Recommend this salon 100 times.

My hair Stylist did a great job ! My hair was unhealthy, too long with lot of dead ends. He was patient with me and gave me a wonderful cut, treated it with the best products. Little pricey but if you care about treating your hair right, then it's definitely worth it.

Tried to charge me more than quoted. They created a huge yellow band in my hair and tried to charge me to fix it. The owner made me feel uncomfortable and was rude and they reported this review when I posted it. I do not recommend.
