Great public park, tucked in between the main residential areas of South Manchester. A great gem. Only problem is it is not lit at night, so if you are planning on skating post sun down do what some lads did not too long back and take a generator and small industrial lighting. p.s Does anybody know how to get on the bowling green, I want to practice on a sunny day in the not too near Manchester future.

Nice park, it's small but it's a great place to go whether it's for a picnic or for going on a run. Definitely better than some other local parks as the field is big so you can play sports and sitting on the grass on a summer day. There is also an outdoor gym, play area, basket ball, tennis and football area aswell as a skateboard area.

Ladybarn park in Manchester, It's not the best park however its okey size park, has good size open field, trees and plenty of seating area around the park.. They a kids area and football field. BMX and skating area, tennis courts and football cage all in good and working order. Recommend for kids, family and anyone like sports.

Very nice and friendly park during early morning hours. Beware when evening time approach's as it can fill out with little junior peasants at evening times getting up to no good and throwing stones at passing cars on parrswood road. And the police can't do nothing as the peasants of the future are minors

It is a good park that many years ago had toilets and changing rooms for the sports field, two bowling greens and a putting green. Vandals put paid to the toilets, changing rooms, one bowling green and putting green. The children's play area and skate park are pretty vandal proof so far!

Regularly maintained public park. Very very spacious. Good time out for kids as there are quite a lot of slides and games. Also has a lot of gymming items for adults. Would also love to see a public cricket pitch however I do know it is a difficult thing to maintain in a public park.

We had an enjoyable time as a family, the weather was nice and there was an Easter Treasure Hunt trail my daughter loved. There was a skate area our son enjoyed and plenty of climbing frames etc for the kids, all in all a great time, slightly over shadowed by our dog pooing blood.

Nice open park with plenty of space and playground for children. Only downside is it is used by a lot of dog walkers and they dont all pick up after their dogs. Also a lot are let to run loose which is a bit scary when got little tots n children running round.

  • Shirley Clayton

The park where I grew up living near. It is not as nice as it used to be when I was young. However volunteers have improved it over the years. I don't think parks should be used for motorised scooters or bicycles. It's a place you should be able to relax in

  • Nicola Rust

Not bad, has a nice little park for the kids, basket ball and tennis courts and a well kept bowling green.Apart from this a big wide open space suitable for picnics and a small patched wooded area to the side, if like me, you prefer the shade.

  • daryl czerniewicz

It has an outdoor free gym, and a nice number of bench tables if you want a picnic. It is very well maintained and also has a volunteer group some Saturdays 10am till noon which shows it has a nice calibre of people going there.

  • Tony Addyman

This is one of several parks that my grandsons love to visit. There is a special play area for children. It is a pleasant place to go for a walk. There are other amenities, e.g. a bowling green, but we haven't used those

  • Elliott Davidson

Come running here often It's a 1k loop round the park with 100m increment markers, so handy for doing intervals As a park, it's a big open space with some swings. It's not overly scenic, but I'm sure it would do the job

Lovely little park but big enough to get a good walk. Tennis and basketball areas. Small skate park. Children's playground and adult open air gym. Lovely flowerbeds looked after by friends group and wild flower areas.

  • Sul Mulroy

Ahh sooo therapeutic each time I take time out to visit here. Help stabilise my mental health just by hearing & seeing the plants/trees sway in the wind.
