Ok I only really go here if I need something quick from Safeway but I did used to go to circle k for coffee at 3:00 am every day, that's when I take my dog for her walks she does not get along well with others until the guy started putting up a sign that said back in 10 minutes every day just before 3:00 am. I don't know why he did not like me getting coffee at that time but he must have had a reason. I don't stink, at least I hope I don't and I never gave him any reason not to like me, I just went in said good morning got my coffee and left so I don't get it. Anyway the rest of the mall is ok it is clean and most places are friendly but there are a few that look at you cross eyed if you don't go there often, they have their older crowd of regulars who they cater to but no worries the much older crowd will be gone on a few years then it will be like 30 to 40 range until we get older. There is a florist, Safeway, alterations, post office, shoppers drug mart, TD bank, liquor store, subway, a Chinese food place which is most excellent and some offices on the second floor oh ya Brewster's brew pub as well, they have VLTs if your into that. There are other places too just can't remember them right now. But overall nice for a nieborhood mall oh and a gas station, I thought that would be important to mention. So cheers to ya and her little mall, one that you can actually walk inside of, which reminds me, when I was a kid every mall was indoors, weird???

Male staff member in the Lake Bonavista Promenade’s Lottery booth (between Safeway and coffee shop) has been observed numerous times to not be wearing a mask, or having the mask hang around his neck. When told that a mask in the Promenade was a requirement as per signs in Mall and the law as a public place, he said the rules didn’t apply for him and laughed. There are many seniors in the mall and many people congregate around the lottery booth. This worker’s refusal to wear a mask increases the risk of Covid transmission in the Promenade mall and is unacceptable. The Promenade management needs to address ASAP as the lack of masks by workers in public spaces has been reported to AHS Public Health.

The Promenade at Lake Bonavista is a "mall" in the heart of Lake Bonavista with a large selection of niche stores, restaurants, as well as Safeway & Shopper's for groceries, pharmacy, etc. There is Video Game Trade inside (VGT), which is one of the few "Buy, Sell, Trade" locations for all kinds of video games, systems, accessories, DVD'S and Blu Rays. They sometimes get more "rare" items, so it's good to check back every now and then. There is also a small comic book store, a beads store, a barber, a nice local pet food/supply store, and many other shops/amenities! Give it a try.

This mall was fairly easy to get to using Google Maps. I did have a bit of trouble finding the store I wanted at first. The building signage was confusing. Just go in the front doors and look around and you'll find what you need. I needed Beads & Plenty More, a bead supply store. And Wow! They are packed with almost everything a person can think of for beads and supplies. Bonus - prices are very reasonable and often lower than big box stores. The staff was extremely helpful and made checkout a breeze. Now I know how to get to this 'gem' of a store, I'll be visiting it more often!

Youll find a great little coffee place inside the mall here- Gourmet Cup. They have a delicious dark roast on tap, lots of seating, some yummy baked goods, plus additional custom coffees and cold drinks. They also offer some different gift ideas. You'll also find a flower shop that has the most beautiful, extravagant bouquets I've ever seen. Definitely a place to go if you want something different. They also have lots of gift ideas. There are lots of great shops and take out places in this little mall. A nice change if you're looking for something different and a bit quieter.

Been going here for 44 years. My first bank is still there. We use Studio 9 for music lessons, there is a new store that exchanges old movies and a really interesting comic store that has extended into 2 locations in the mall. We also use the shoemaker to repair shoes. There is Safeway and a lotto booth too. And I love the Chistmas display with Santa and the Stampede decor, great for photo opts. My mom's favorite Chinese restaurant is there never mind Brewsters. It's full of great shops.

It seems like so many of the out of the way smaller shopping centers are dying with lots of empty stores in them this mall used to be that way but lately it's really been picking up more stores have moved in and they've gone to quite a bit of effort to make the place presentable it does tend to cater to the higher-end clientele but it is anchored by a Safeway and has many little Boutique shops in it I recommended

  • Rod Cappon

Small community mall located next to Lake Bonavista, Anchored by Safeway on the west end and Shoppers Drug mart in the middle on the north side. Has a variety of independent business with a few chain stores as well. There are multiple restaurants located within the main building as well as the building just southwest of the main mall. On the west end of the parking lot a group of medical professionals offices.

  • Sammy Ross (Shamus Aran)

Not my favorite place as far as shopping needs. This complex doesn't contain much on that side of things. There is a good Brewster's as well as a decent Liquor Depot. If you live in Bonavista or know someone who does then you'll have to lake Bonavista via here. There is a great optometrist in the building located on the west side of the parking lot.

  • Dan Cole

It's a great quiet mall. It doesn't have a lot of variety but it has a few really good niche stores like video game trader. The safeway is also really great nice and small and usually has lots of extra discounts. Also has a nice what looks to be local Cafe. And best of all it has a huge parking lot worh more than ample space for parking.

  • Mallorie

What a cute little mall. Everything you need to ensure a steady flow of customers but not too much that it feels overly busy. I love that i can park once and pick up a few groceries, some special dog food, my prescriptions and some flowers ;) the restaurants are long time staples in the community and always have patrons!

  • Alisa Cervo

Very weird selection of shops. Also very limited. Would only come here if you need a very specific shop opposed to for your everyday needs. They do have a Safeway and a shoppers drug Mart which is nice but aside from that, everything else is very specific and things you would not need nor use on a regular basis.

There's so much drama in the LBV, sometimes it's hard being MG, But somehow, someway... I keep getting reno work here nearly every single day. Gets a few more referrals for the MG, And make a few bucks is a breeze through You know it four in the morning and I'm still working, cause Tharindu ain't home...

  • Andy Maksymetz

Convenience store? Check. Liquor? Check. Grocery, pharmacy, post office, dry cleaner? Check. They are consistently updating as well: renovated Brewsters pub; comic shop; wig store; hair salon; barber shop. All your essentials in a neighbourhood location with a few smaller shops to round things out...

  • Phillip Woodgate

It has some valuable retailers to support our community, that part I like. It is a pity that in the 40ish years they have never seen fit to have e pedestrian access from the street. Just carpark all the way around, not a single safe designated pedestrian walkway, that has always disappointed me.

  • David MacKenzie

A small outlet mall that has a Safeway and Shoppers. The only two stores I frequent when in the area. It has some kitschy store but pretty specialized in its target market. Not much here to draw me in except for the nostalgic used video game store which is fairly over priced for my budget.

  • Stephanie G.

Good little place. For sure feels a little outdated, but the stores inside are good and it's very clean. My husband and I come here for a massage and always like walking around inside after and visiting VGT, jeans addiction and usually the safeway which is very good even if it's small.

  • Jesse-James Finnman

There's a really good comic book store in here with amazing staff and lots of space to walk around and view products. Would definitely recommend swinging in here to check it out. I was there for a late event and the little ceasers was very good, and stayed open late to feed everyone

  • R Lem (Rocks)

Shoppers and Safeway make it great and convenient for the neighborhood. The postal outlet and cleaners are handy to have. Sad the RBC closed but there is a bank machine. Our dentist is on the second floor and he is amazing! Brewster's for a quick pint can also be nice.

  • Rudy De Obieta

Nice quaint, Y2000 inspired themed mall. There's Chinese restaurant, jewelry store, video store little Ceasars pizza, Shoppers drugmart, and Safeway for your groceries. And other specialty stores. Wonderful place to go shop, do groceries and try something else.

  • Crystal Bean

I didn't even know this little Mall existed. I only walked through really quick but the stores that I saw inside were unique and not the same as that every other Plaza. It was nice and clean inside and was comfortable it didn't feel like a cheap little Plaza

  • Caitlin C

Has most things you need but could use some more interesting stores. Lots of them are dated and very specific. It is nice to have an indoor place though since they tend not to build them anymore or convert old ones to outdoor shopping.

  • Nicole F

Convenient and welcoming with great anchor tenants like Safeway, Shoppers, Little Caesar’s, Subway and Brewsters, along with a lot of other useful shops and services. This is a perfect neighbourhood mall with something for everyone.

  • Cheryl Breiteneder

This little mall has it all. Stop and enjoy coffee, say hello to Jay. Buy a lotto ticket from Dwayne. Let Stella help you at Safeway. Feeling like a sub, Munny can help you with that at Subway. These are only a few stops to shop.

  • Karla Nolke

Small mall. Not a lot inside. Lots of free parking. Safeway is good, but small. Spin studio is great. Sometimes the mall keeps a parrot in the middle of the hall inside a big cage. He looks lonely and sad. I don't like that.

  • Bill Cottrell

Modern, bright yet good services from Safeway, multiple restaurants, take out food places, banks, jewelry store, game store, barber and hair stylist shops, flower shop, drugstore, computer store, business offices, etc!

  • J Q

Quiet little plaza with some great stores. It’s well worth checking out. There’s a nice shoe store, a clothing store, a travel place, many food places, a nail salon, a comic book store, a video game trader, wig shop.

  • Roger Vekeman

Needed a bonnet style hat for my wife who has cancer. They have a specially hat and wig store in the mall. Prices are good and if you have your card from the cancer clinic, they you a 20% percent discount

  • Kathryn Lefebvre

Nice little mall with Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, Little Cesars, Brewster pub, TD Bank, and post office as main anchors. Dental office and first aid training offered there as well as a few other shops.

  • David

Won't sugar coat it. It needs an overhaul. It has what I need. The Shoppers, Safeway, Vietnamese. And some bonuses like a dog groomer and best Vietnamese in the city. But it could have so much more.

  • Mathew Y.

This sleepy old standard is still alive and well, mom and pop shops dotting a line all the way to Safeway a unique mall in an otherwise boring wealthy suburbia. Check it out for yourself.

  • Jesus Rocks!

Smaller size shopping site, but has Safeway located there with Shoppers Drug Mart, Little Caesar's Pizza, Subway and public washrooms. Located across from Lake Bonavista Home Owners lake.

  • Tia Kosmachuk

Very nice little shopping centre just not many places to shop at besides Safeway and the retro video game store and shoppers but I was able to get a charger cord for my old Nintendo ds

  • Kevin Bergeron

Nice little mall in the community. Typically go to Brewster's and sometimes into Safeway if in need of something quick. Other than that. Not much in terms of stores I would frequent.

  • Michael Richmond (Mortgage Broker)

Love this place! Great good made infront of you accompanied by some wonderful guest service. Felt like I was over at a friend's home not at a restaurant! Was a great b-day dinner!

  • Andrea Hall (Epic SCAR)

Still many businesses not following standard mall hours which diminishes business for their neighbours but some new and exciting stores open. Happy the bead shop is still there.

  • Lora Hickey

Took all the furniture out of the mall on Thursday may 14 even though the malls opened up today in calgary. Redundant. No place to eat for Safeway employees when on a break.

  • Beth Benson

First-time there, quite, but has way more stores inside. Good place for shopping needs. Will go again and check out other places. Something different then the bigger malls.

  • Moonlight Rituhell

It's cute and quaint, I just love these little community shopping centers. However there are only 4 or 5 places in here I go to, and it never seems to have much going on.

  • Mark S

This mall has really changed in the years but 1 thing is for sure, it has all the stores that most malls forget about. Hobbies, crafts, education and great restaurants.

  • Tara Lynn

Nice small place for quick shopping experience. It has a small Chinese buffet, grocery shop (Safeway), a coffee shop, a pharmacy, a bank and other small shops.

  • Marcus Travels

Out dated mall, its hay day was in the 80’s. There are a few niche businesses, a safeway and shoppers drug mart. This place really needs a face lift.
