"This review is actually for Harrell Park, located across the street from Lakewood Shopping Center"
"Lakewood shopping center is one of my almost daily neighborhood Hangouts"
"Always a pleasure to visit & shop, My only draw back Or issue"
"Main attraction is the natural food store followed by several little bars and a couple of small places that you can score sandwiches and some dinners at all in all a very nice Center if you can catch him between the construction as usual it's happening all over Dallas and it is a slow how you could die quicker than you could get into some of these places slow slow construction our city manager is a failure"
"I love the fact that the Kozy kitchen is one of the anchoring restaurants in this plaza"
This review is actually for Harrell Park, located across the street from Lakewood Shopping Center. Since businesses in the LSC funded the park I suppose it should be included in a review. Harrell Park is located on a small triangular-shaped plot of land between the intersections of Gaston Ave, Abrams Rd and Abrams Pkwy. The triangle is about 100 yards per side. Looks like they just trucked in a bunch of landfill, mounded it up about 10’ high to form more or less a half circle. Then they put in a memorial plaque to people who helped fund the park. Next a few old-style lamps, a few trees, some benches and voila! There you have it. Oh, I almost missed the “entrance” sign near the intersection of Gaston and Abrams Rd, with some landscaping. It's actually fairly serene with few or no people when I visited. Serene but not quiet - Gaston and Abrams are very busy so there's the constant drone of traffic. In early March most of the trees were bare but I could hear a few birds chirping and calling. I'd say this might be a great place to take a break when you're visiting the many shops in Lakewood Shopping Center. It kinda grows on you.
Lakewood shopping center is one of my almost daily neighborhood Hangouts. It's a great place to go have lunch, two of my favorite places are Unleavened Fresh Kitchen and Liberty Burger. Both have patios with lots of shade, so it's great sitting out side this time of year. Lakewood Smokehouse is around the corner and has great barbecue. Starbucks is a short walk away so we usually go have coffee or iced tea after lunch. And CVS is a regular stop for me for prescription refills and those little drug store necessities, like sunscreen, chewing gum, food items and toiletries. Mi Cocina is another favorite stop, right around the corner from the Starbucks and next to the balcony club which is a great place to go listen to music. The center has almost everything you need
Always a pleasure to visit & shop, My only draw back Or issue.are 2 the bricks Or sidewalks in some areas Are Not Completely LEVEL, which can cause someone to trip or lose balance, And the Front entry to CVS Is Quite dark.. other slight issue with such Historical significance of Lakewood Plaza Why not Power wash the sidewalks to Give it A UP to date Newness or clean Look , just a small little change can make Lakewood plaza Look better,

I love the fact that the Kozy kitchen is one of the anchoring restaurants in this plaza. They have a great gluten free dining experience along with awesome breakfast foods, a great bar, and even a meeting room for small groups. You should definitely check out Kozy Kitchen at the Lakewood Shopping Center. Make sure to tell them Ingo sent you!
This is a cool area and shopping strip. I prefer shopping malls with a lot of space, not into the cramped feeling (still trying to figure out why people like to feel cramped and stacked one on top of the other...this is Texas #duh go for "spacious.lol)
Went to Unleavened and Liberty Burger, both get 10 stars. ToNya was an outstanding cashier and server at Unleavened. I left my computer bag on the sidewalk outside the restaurant and she saved it for me. Thank God for sharp eyed, good hearted people.
This mall has gotten really ghetto over the last few years But it's the only place near Long Beach that has Sephora and Mac make up But I like the new bowling alley and arcade they have. I wish they would have had that when I was in High School
I grew up in the neighborhood, so I might be a little bit biased, but I constantly hear good things about it. I've never heard of a bad experience. I've seen several changes over the years. But it has somehow held on to it's wonderful charm.
A cute little shopping mall with a variety of shops, such as an Italian restaurant, grocers, antique shop, and a juice bar. Parking is convenient, and it's walkable. The Lakewood theatre is here, and makes for a neat historical ambience.
Parking is really really tight. I live nearby & honestly don't go often. Prices for rental are definitely going up - you see less mom & pop style businesses and more national chains or really well funded local businesses going in.
Improving with every new tennant. Liberty Burger, Unleavened, Starbucks and the Donut Shop are regular stops. Penne Pkmodoro and Snow Baby are also good. Kozy is expensive and I'm not sire about the aesthetics. Hope it makes it.
Some of the Best Restaurants in Dallas are in that shopping center. As a native of Dallas, I can tell you that Lakewood, Inwood and Highland Park Village are still around because of quality of the retail merchants!!!
Went to Kozy restaurant. Absolutely delicious. Fun atmosphere. Unique menu the Buffalo nachos were incredible! Great wait staff. We sat at the bar this time for a change and it was as good as being on the floor!
Very interesting and niche grocery store for people about that healthy living. There is also a Fuzzy tacos so something for everyone especially when there is a Nothing Bundt Cake and Starbucks in the same area.
Awesome area! Great assortment of necessary shopping and specialties. Food, coffee, donuts, eye care, clothing, drycleaning, pharmacy, gifts, bars, theatre. Beautiful surroundings. Family friendly.
My wife and I ate at Penne Pomodoro. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Every time I've been here the entire complex is busy so a lot of people seem to enjoy this spot
Starbucks, Small venue live music (check Lakewood theater schedule), friendly.bar with happy hour, nice cafe & fast food at an easy to find location Gaston & Abrams …
Parking is decent and the businesses are easy to get into. I love the nail salons, group, Cava, etc. There is a Liberty Burger, The Heights, Sweet green, etc.
Could be a real gem, if they'd put water in the fountain and replace their horribly generic sign. They are halfway there, both in vibe and in store selection.
Great little shopping center. You can shop, pick up your prescription and have a nice meal . Plus you can park your car while you doing all those things
I went to CVS for the first time I didn't like th Parking ️️️️️ but other than that I enjoyed walking around th Strip mall..... …
I am happy that the people of Lakewood get to experience the same thing I can with the excellent service at the numerous shops that line the Mall.
Great selection of stores and restaurants without the hassle/crowds of Greenville Ave. Perfect location for the Lakewood community.
I like all the shops in the shopping center. He can always find something unique. I definitely love the eye doctor there as well!
UNLEAVENED RESTAURANT....BABY ITS GOOD....clean fresh...meals prepared with respect for food....the Kale smoothie A MUST TRY !!!
There was a pan handler in front of almost every other store harassing customers both in and out of the stores. Very concerning!
Great shave ice cream! We try the piña colada, coconut with strawberry topping, and the birthday cake, uff, it was really good!
The location is great an the selection of flowers omg let's not forget the cheese ❤️ is my 1st time here i loved it …
Nice walkable shopping center with lots of great local businesses. Scarce parking, so you may be looking when it gets busy.
Really cool for me to get in and out and accomplish all the things I need to do. I love the grocery and food options

Typical to Lakewood it's very clean and nice. However, parking can be difficult to find around the dinner hour.
Such a fun little shopping center with everything from coffee and foods to dry cleaning and high end AV gear!
I absolutely am disappointed every time I go to any of the stores or restaurants in this tiny shopping center
I visited Roots Juices and Starbucks. I like these places and look fwd to visiting the shopping center again.
Love the restaurants in this little shopping center, incredibly high quality and delicious foods available.
Neighborhood gem - except for the loss of the theater. Sad for its long-term vacancy and loss of purpose.
Still a pretty cool eclectic east Dallas shopping center , even though the old Lakewood Theater is gone.
Not sure what I was expecting. The food wasn't that great. Could have been an off day. Will try again..
I have never been to Kozy. I don't shop in Lakewood, but I have been at some long stop lights there.
Parking is horrible here. Super tight spots that make parking a SUV or truck dang near impossible.
I was in the area because of republic title. I try to do all my closings republic title Lakewood.
Lots of shops. Traffic is bad but uh ou can pretty much get anything gu ou need in one area.
A favorite local shopping and eatery location. However Kozy is not in business since Covid.
A place I frequent. Cozy, Liberty Burger, Nail spa, even CVS male this a good destination.
I love the diversity of the businesses in Lakewood. Many are privately owned and operated.
Not too sure why I can rate basically a parking lot, or am I rating the shops has a whole?
Excellent hamburger. Didn't care for the thin fries... the cherry cola was very good...
Nice shopping plaza. We parked here & watched the fireworks without any parking issues
Safe parking separate from bustling streets. CVS staff was super friendly and helpful
Went for National Taco day $1 tacos Great service they serve beer and Margaritas too
Give me Liberty or give me death! Great burger. Homemade buns! Awesome onion rings.
I get a choice for guava pork roast with spinach wrap and beans ,is was delicious!
It’s like a mini mall! I mean from Doughnuts to burgers, Nail Salon to pharmacy!
Small quiet but fun place to walk around or take a date out for a night out
Wonderful restaurants, including Scalini's and Zoe's, and a Hollywood Feed
Skin Laundry...great first experience! I'm sold on it! Thanks Kate …
CVS pharmacy is slow. Prepare to stand in line for about 10--15 mintunes.
I like the store You think you're in Mexico To me the Mexicans at fiesta.
omg they had some of the best deals ive ever gotten! cant wait to go back
Lots of choices for dining, a little shopping, and paying cell phone bill
parking can be an issue, but plaza has a good restaurants for the family
Fun and quirky area ! Make sure to go to Craft Beer Cellar while there!
Another neighborhood shopping center with some fun gems hiding in here

Great little out of the way place the oxtails are to die for …
Really cool shopping center. I'm so glad they restored the center.
Typical large shopping center, anchored by Sam's Club and Walmart.
Good little group of some unique shops. Smokehouse is good food.
Difficult to drive and park. Lots of fun stores and restaurants.
It's a great shopping area! Many things to do and places to eat
Catch me with my nice cloths and you know where I got them from
Great area a lot of stores but limited parking at peak time.
The supply sources for taste they are provided are not good.
