Updating my old review as after multiple orders over a long period of time, the food quality has dropped off a cliff. The pepperoni pizza is consistently basic, never cut all the way through and floppy with a good deal of grease, the wings are getting smaller and smaller, taste like they've been reheated a couple of times and the poutine somehow just gets worse every single time, fries taste rubbery like they have definitely been sitting for a long time and likely recooked; there's also about 1/4 the amount of gravy that should be in a poutine so it's also somehow dry. I used to just say "meh, they're the closest so whatever" but it's not worth it, just pay slightly more anywhere else as the quality anywhere else would beat this Lava Pizza location.

Most of the parking gets taken up by the korean restaurant and the convenience store and I believe 1-2 delivery vehicles for this location, there's usually 1-3 spots open for pickups.

Customer service is not that great, ordered a pizza slab this evening, and it was burnt from the sides and top, never had this type of complain before because we order pizza from this place oftentimes, this time it was very over done and burnt from the sides and top, we made a complain over the phone that the pizza is burnt and we cannot compromise it as it was not in a condition to eat, the store manager was very rude and sounded as we are lying, we even were ready to share a pic of the pizza that we are not lying and wanted a replacement, the manager straight away said that he has other orders to do and won’t be able to give us replacement coz he consider new customer more important than fixing the present order, he want us to send the pizza back and then he will check it and provide the refund. This is ridiculous and not acceptable being a customer. Was never treated like this from this location, I hope some action will take place regarding the staff, how to serve a customer.

The Westdale and Mountain locations are much better and more polite. It literally took over 2 hours to get our cold pizza from this location, and we only live 10 minutes away. Very rude customer service as well. About 1.5 hours into our order, I asked to cancel the order, but the lady on the phone started yelling at us. She said the driver had already left to deliver it, but it still took another 45 minutes to get to us. The pizza and wings were also really cold, and we needed to reheat it in the oven. If you want warm pizza sooner than 2 hours, and don’t want to be yelled at, don’t order from here. If you want Lavas, check out the Westdale location. If you better pizza and service altogether, go to Cowabunga or Maipai.

Edit: Apparently now they're under new management and I will no longer be a customer. I ordered a gyro sub, same as I've done many times in the past. Food took over an hour to deliver, and what I received was some kind of pizza sub with gyro on top. I called, explained there was a mix up, but they explained they don't carry a gyro sub so I'm at fault. Yet they accepted my order no hesitation? Despite trying to work out a reasonable agreement he stated the best he could do for the $20 order that I can't eat was $5 off my next meal. Absolutely no resolution, sat there arguing how it was my fault and I should be grateful. Absolutely disgusting. Will not be ordering from there again.

I love this place. I find I usually get sick of pizza places quite quick. However I have been ordering from here for about half a year now and I will never switch to another place! Their customer service is amazing. The driver is always quick and super polite. The quality of the pizza is literally perfect and the price is very reasonable. I enjoy trying different specialty pizza from lava there are so many to choose from and each one I have tried was super delicious. The wings are my absolutely favorite they have yet to dissapoint. Took quite long (50m) for a slab pizza and 30 wings. Wouldn't have mattered if the food was decent, but it looked like it was prepared in 15 minutes. Wings weren't even mixed with the sauce. They just threw a few dollops of BBQ sauce on the dry plain wings. Pizza ingredients weren't evenly spread but whatever. The wings were terribly made, and the meat was purely black on many wings. For a guy who eats pizza at least once a week lava pizza is probably the top 3 worst pizza I have ever had. 2 extra large pizzas with 30 wings for 6 people and only 6 slices were eaten by 6 starving people. Panzerotti was not good. So much heavy dough, rock hard in places and the filling was terrible. I got a spicy butter chicken panzerotti. There wasn't enough sauce and there were so many raw onions, tomatoes and jalepenos shoved in, that's all I could taste most bites. My husband got a nacho one and it had no tomato sauce at all, just a bit of salsa and the same wad of vegetables. We both didn't finish them.

I was stoked to find a great pizza place close to my new neighbourhood, and the food is good! No complaints there after two orders. My total seemed a little steep this time, so I asked for the itemized receipt and saw they charge a $2.00 fee to pay with credit or debit. I've seen 25 or even 50 cents, but two bucks?! In the middle of a pandemic? I could have paid with cash but figured debit would be safer. No mention of this fee when I was asked how I would pay. This is super shady.

A regular pizza joint, its as expected. They are quick to pick up the phone for orders, generally i give an additional 5 minutes to my pickup time as I've waited a bit in the past when I arrived. Wings and pizza are good. I prefer it to dominos or pizza pizza.

Had an issue where the driver was late because she dropped the pizza and they had to make a new one. Manager drove a new pizza over personally and apologized for the driver. Apparently driving is outsourced and they have issues sometimes. L Appreciate the business caring about its repeat customers and apologizing and explaining in person. Got discount and drinks. Shawarma pizza was delicious as always. Recommended institution just make sure drivers are doing their job.

Ordered two chicken & rice shawarma’s, was told it would be 15 mins, took 30. Rice was cold, but overall the meal tasted ok, but two hours later food poisoning set in for both of us. The next day, called to inform them. Sounds like they don’t make many of them, so I suspect they use old stock. All I got in response was, “oh sorry”. No asking how to make it right, no offer for a refund...just a “sorry”. Do not order from here. Sub-par food and no commitment to quality.

We have ordered from lava before and have yet to have a bad experience with them. However tonight they have out done themselves the wings were cajun dry rubbed which were perfectly crispy and beautifully cooked on the inside. The pizza was perfection we got garlic base with lots of cheese which wasn't greasy and gross, the crust was amazing and I'm NOT one for crust. We HAVE ordered before and we will DEFINITELY be ordering again!! Thanks guys!! Keep up the good work

Every time I go to this location I find myself changing my review because it's just so inconsistent. Large Onion rings? Soggy Gyro? Soggy and stuck to the aluminum foil Attached image of my gyro "wrap" after getting it out of the aluminum foil, you can't eat it with your hands, that's for sure. I think this is why I only ever get the 1 topping pepperoni pizza from this location because nothing else comes out good.

Had a really bad experience with this place. Worst customer service. The order was taken by a girl staff, we found a hair in the order and we called the store staff member named Simran said its not possible as there was no girl staff at that moment. So I’m not sure why all the bad reviews. I literally just ordered from Lava and my order is amazing. Pizza is hot and fully cooked , wings are crispy and delicious , the delivery dude was friendly Price is fair . The only complaint I would have is the volcano hot , is more a a Cajun BBQ not nearly spicy enough for me. Other than that I’d definitely recommend trying them , I’ll definitely call again .

We tried out Lava Pizza last night for the first time. Have to be honest we didn't know what to expect with such various reviews. I am happy to report the food was AWESOME! We ordered a combo with wings and pizza. The pizza was fresh and tasty, we loved the large pepperoni! The wings were crispy and a good size, we love all the different flavor options. We will be ordering from them again!!

Lava was amazing. I don't know what's happening, but the past two months on, when I call with my order, they tell me it'll be half hour, then when I get there, I have to wait 20 minutes more for undercooked pizza. The final straw was getting bad chicken wings. Even the sauce couldn't cover the smell. And even then they had the audacity of packing it for me to find out at home. I'm done.

Pretty clean place. And the food is not bad at all. I love the wings and all the spice options they have here. The only thing I dislike is the garlic sauce for the pizza. It’s the generic kind that you can buy in bulk I’m pretty sure. every time I go to a Pizza spot with this type of garlic sauce. It’s a little disappointing.

Very good pizza. This is my go to place when I am wanting pizza. The pizza is not greasy and i like that. The wings are really good. I always get the mild sauce and it taste amazing and they even put sauce in the bottom of the tray if you want to dip your chicken wings in it again. So tasty. I would recommend you to buy from here if you want good pizza and its fast too.

We order from here regularly, we always get Peperoni pizza, Samosas and wings. Very good especially for the price, the food is always fresh. The chicken I got on my pizza once was horrible though, it was extremely processed chunks. And the fries are not very good at all when they arrive,I will stick to my regular order, unless they ever upgrade those items. Thanks.

Heard a lot about their Samosa poutine. Tried with high hope. Was impressed with the taste. Crushed vegetable samosa was the actual ingredient along with chopped onions, green peppers, tomatoes, green peas, cilantro and some white sauce on top to made the taste amazing. Medium size was good for 2 of us. 10/10 for the food. 4 star is just for their customer service.

This place impresses me. The pizza was great and thick with toppings. The chicken wings are also really good. They are crispy, a decent size and come with a large amount of choices for flavoring. They have a well made full menu with more dinning options than most pizza shops. Thus far, they have been consistently good and have become my go to for pizza.

Ordered pizza tonight and it took much longer than the estimate which okay its New Years Eve. We ordered through Uber Eats and our driver told us he waited 30 mins for the order to be ready. When we started eating the pizza we realized the dough was still raw in many places so I'm guessing they tried to rush it through.

It's a take out restaurant so 1 star for atmosphere, Let's now talk about food, ONE of the BEST thing you must try is Samosa poutin. If you want to try Indian food with Canadian touch than definitely try this. I will say order little but early as they are quit busy.

Fantastic pizza mind you I ordered an hour before closing it got here pretty fast. food was fantastic the next day my kids enjoyed the chicken wings and leftovers as most children do when their parents get pizza them previous night before no complaints here I'll definitely be calling them again.

This is a really nice place to have a bite to eat. The base of the pizza is nicely made unlike other places where they use paper base. The base is not chewy and just melts inside the mouth. The toppings were also fresh and nicely chopped. All in all really enjoyed going there.

Best shawarma poutine in the city by far. It's the only place I know of that puts its poutine in the pizza oven, and it makes such a huge difference. And you can't beat the price to portion ratio!
