I am happy so far with the furniture, but not the overall experience or customer service. We ordered a few pieces of furniture, one being a large sofa. We ordered in store and dealt with Darren. We initially ordered it in one kind of fabric, but upon leaving the store changed it to a different fabric. Unfortunately, when it arrived weeks later, it arrived in a completely different fabric. This was after sending multiple emails confirming that the sofa was going to be manufactured in the desired sofa (of which we had assurance in writing). Mistakes happen, but this was an expensive mistake. Lee Longlands did offer to replace it, or else compensate with £500. Note the sofa was over 4K. The issue we had was that we had needed to get the sofa in by taking down a wall, and we only uncovered and saw it was the wrong sofa after rebuilding the wall. We spent £400 on labour getting the sofa in and to replace it would cost a lot more as we'd destroy half the house. It was an awful experience dealing with their support. They just didn't really care. When you buy an item they offer champagne and promise to look after you if anything goes wrong - but it's a complete lie and all for show - we were passed around and only after complaining and finding contact names on LinkedIn did we eventually speak to the head of the department. He was condescending and rude and tried to bully us. At no point did Darren apologise, and it just felt like a bunch of unethical salesmen. We have no choice now but to be stuck with a sofa we don't like and have only been given 10% of the value back. I think this is extremely unjust given it was their error. As I said, items are fine but if you are going to spend that much it's better to spend it elsewhere.

Awful customer experience, no updates or communication. We ordered a dining table and chairs, being told the table would be delivered in 3 weeks, four of the chairs after this and 2 later in the year. Due to our needs in a new house, we placed the order and paid in full. We had no sign of a table, and nobody called called/emailed or even text us to suggest it wouldn’t be arriving. Bare in mind, we spent near £2500 on this furniture. Having called 6/7 times, an uninterested sales person picks up, completely unsympathetic or determined in resolving the issue. Instead ‘we’ll call you back’ is what you get. Having spoken to the manager on the second missed delivery date, i was offered some money off and a loan table - to which I am grateful for. However, in the ‘digital era’ where firms are so good at communicating, this experience felt like we was back in the 90’s - and I have since requested a full refund. Late delivery? Ok it happens. No communication or willingness to resolve the issue? Unacceptable. Wont be using this firm again.

Some really good pieces of furniture in this shop - we've walked past it many times but were quite impressed when we finally had a reason to go in. Customer service is fine, although the only issue we had was a delay in delivery, but this is due to the many distributors and companies that Lee Longlands work with (more of a chain/communication/logistics issue depending on where the stock is). Whenever I gave them a call they would do their best to follow up. If you don't mind a slight wait for a better quality item, I would recommend it. If timing is an issue for you, you might want to check out other options. The sofas we ordered arrived safely, delivered by Richard and Alan, who were excellent. Many thanks!

Amazing experience with Lee Longlands from the shop visit to the delivery of our sofa. Richard and Alan, who delivered it, were very good at communicating and keen to do a good job. They took their shoes off, without me asking to do so. They were extremely careful when they took the sofa to the 1st floor, did not damage anything, even if handling it was very difficult because of the configuration of the stairs and lounge entrance. Hat off to Richard and Alan. Thank you. The sofa itself looks good and we love it.

What can we say? After experiencing furniture from lesser outlets Lee Longlands in Birmingham have displayed excellent customer service. Initially there was a mistake made on order but, as they promised it was rectified in a very professional manner. It's how a company deals with an error that is the test and Lee Longlands Birmingham came through with flying colours. I would Definitely recommend Jag and his team and will be shopping there again. 10/10.

Called by chance with my sister. Was thrilled with what I saw, called back the next week with my husband. No pushy staff, left to browse. Ordered furniture which we don't need yet but they will store it for us. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Great quality furniture and service.

Exceptional quality beds and bedroom furniture at Lee Longlands on the Lower Ground floor, lots of different styles and finishes offered and the service is top notch.

Always loved the style of furniture sold here and though years have gone by since my first purchase, the modern, up to the minute design and quality is the same.

Shocking experience purchasing carpet on line. Never use Richard. It’s like buying off a market stall.
