Lifeline Shop in Lane Cove is a wonderful experience. It is like you're in a high end homewares store with the most wonderful selection of items, all styled by the very talented Margo who just has an eye for styling. There are homewares galore, furniture, jewellery, fashion, crafts and sewing items, books and so many other goodies to discover. The whole team are so friendly and helpful, and there is so much to see and discover plus you're helping a good cause by shopping there too. Highly recommend putting this store on your list to visit - you won't regret it. I just love it.

It's not a donation or a charity shop!! They are expecting new stuffs. We decided to donate something that were usable for some who might need them but they didn't accept because they thought they could not sell them!! We also had to put the stuffs that could be usable to someone next to the trash can. I asked the manager if they knew anyone who needed these and she said no with a humililiating look at the stuffs. What's the meaning of charity?! We have donated lots of things when we were in QLD, none of them humiliated us and always thanked us for donating.

Seems like they have very nice donations in this store! I’ve only been once and found it unfortunate to come across a rude, unfriendly staff member who will basically kick you out if you arrive a few minutes before they close and are still browsing as “she must restock the shelves”. My apologies, I thought all proceeds went towards a charitable cause? I wouldn’t rush back to this store after that encounter if I’m honest. And it would be helpful to have opening times on google maps (4:30pm on weekdays FYI)

Really nice - I don't think 'Op Shop' does this place justice, as I thought it was really well set. My eldest daughter is quite artsy and I thought she'd appreciate it...I wasn't surprised when she found some pants she wanted to buy. So many 'Op shops' are tucked away; this one has a fairly prominent spot and I think it deserves it. There were a few treasures in here; I thought everything seemed like good quality stuff, and a lot of it wasn't old at all. Highly recommend this store.

A good visit every time I come to Lane Cove area. The shop is very well presented and a great place to dig for treasures. ;D I found all kinds great stuff here, e.g. Single king bed sheet brand new in box*2, a beautiful jade bracelet, a pretty stone necklace and some really cheap photo papers brand new in pack*5. It is more fun shopping here than shopping in some major stores. And I really hope my small contribution can help other people along the way.

Margot & Sally make such a wonderful team & experience at Lifeline Lane Cove. Come in & meet the team to donate for an important charitable cause. A shop held to raise funds for-“Telephone Crisis Support” is a excellent reason to donate here. The shop presentation is well thought out! Come to the store to simply be inspired by the interior design skill of the manager and team.

Another Lifeline 5 star op shop, same styling as Gladesville, I always find something, magazines, books, cushions, jewellery etc Some great furniture & styling pieces. Prices higher than other op shops but good quality items & for a good cause. A great addition to Lane Cove's other 3 ok shops.

Such a beautifully styled shop by Margo and her team. This is by far the most inviting and stylish op-shop ever.... I had to double check that it is indeed an op-shop after entering the shop. Quality items are creatively and displayed to inspire ideas, giving the goods a second life.

Got confused with the definition of donation in here! Our stuff were not accepted because they couldn't be sold! And everything needs to be very clean and neat before donation! At last we dumped our stuff however they were pretty usable.

So genuinely confused on how this is listed as a thrift store? The prices here are diabolical so if you actually like going thrifting this isn’t a place to go to. Prices are worse than some retail shops that sell brand new products.

Would not recommend if seeking affordable clothing. Many items are expensive for second hand. Has beautiful entryway and good condition selected furniture - only a small amount of items in the store tho.

Careful, they hate kids in here - will snatch things out of their hands and mutter at them. Happened multiple times. Nasty!

A cut above the rest. The most beautiful op shop I have ever been to. Good quality goods but not your usual bargains.

  • Sue Brown
