If I could, I would rate a thousand stars. Excellent people, the receptionist, nurses, vets and the owners. All very ethical, empathetic, supporting and caring and always looking ethically for the well-being of their patients. They have always had kind gestures towards us, when we have lost a pet, we felt the support of all the staff in a very respectful way. They are very up to date and try their best to give patients a good quality of life, and they have saved my pets life many times. In addition to that there is excellent internal communication about patients. My 18 year old dog had a knee problem, he couldn't walk anymore, but with a brace, exercises, patience, medicine and a new injection, he was able to stand up and walk again. It was a great achievement. Also when we had to let him rest because he had advanced cancer, they treated him with great ethics and respect, since they allowed the whole family to be with him (we are 7 people), they took care that my dog was as comfortable as possible and the veterinarian Miranda looked for the best vein to transfer the medicine so that he could leave as calmly as possible and without any discomfort (perhaps in other places they would not have cared, because we would not even have noticed). And also they give bad news tactfully with sincerity and patience, especially when it is too difficult for us to accept (thank you vet Anne). If I moved home and lived far away, I would still bring my pets here. Thank you very much to all the staff!

I can't recommend this clinic highly enough. My dog litterally got kicked in the head by a horse, and they fit me in immediately at the end of the day, on a Friday. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they were so kind and caring and listened to me and checked my pup over thoroughly. They also didn't go overboard. They didn't go into panic mode and do unnecessary things. (It was clear that he just had a cut) They were so kind and patient with him, he freaks out at the vet, and he just loved all of the staff. We booked him in for stitches/surgery first thing the next day, and the vet on in the morning had another look at him and talked through with me that on closer I section didn't need stitches so. So yay, he didn't have to go under and had another positive experience. I can't thank the team here enough for everything they did for us, at such short notice, and for a new client. Will 100% be going back there.

My fur baby and I have been going to Lilydale Vet Center for 14 years. Over that time we had seen every vet at the Center with various checkups, Illnesses, issues and maintenance. All staff members showed us love and care over the years and never got upset when Bella made a mess with water and fur all over the place (as a lab retriever with thyroid issues does) We had many visits with Dr Emily this year after cat attacks, mobility issues and finally her body shutting down with multiple issues all at once. She even answered calls on her day off and fit us in when there was no room. The staff was amazing, helping moving her out of the car in an improvised stretcher and offering chocolate and treats in her final moments while also comforting me. We even put her old meds to good use as they allow for unused medication donations. Can’t thank them enough for everything they have all done for my baby.

Mid treatment for our cat I arrived at the Monbulk clinic this morning to find a Closed Down notice on the door. It referred me to the other clinic owned by the same man, Lilydale Vet Centre. No contact made to inform me at all. I had returned $56 dollar pills as as we couldn't get them into our cat. Staff had said a refund would be given but was told there was a new computer system so she couldn't do it there and then. Said I'd get a phone call from Emily, the vet, re refund into my bank. Not happened. I've paid for the pills but they have kept them! Blood for testing was taken Monday am but I heard nothing so I rang Friday, but they couldn't tell me a result. (They had said it would only take up to 1 1/2 days.) I never sighted a lab report and don't believe the blood was ever sent to the lab. This business is to be AVOIDED.

I have used many vets over the years for pets and farm animals etc. as I have moved from place to place. But I have never received such genuine care for my animals and myself before. You know straight away that it is not just your pet that is very important it is also you, the owner. My understanding of my pet’s behaviour and my suggestions were genuinely listened to and, as a result, my dog’s life was saved, more than once, because two problems that were extremely difficult to diagnose were identified through that careful listening. I can’t recommend Lilydale Vet Centre highly enough. Great place, great people! My older dogs are never frightened to go there, even though they have both been through some very painful surgical procedures to care for them. That says it all!

Couldn't be any happier with my experiences here. My first dog went in with an infected gum and they took brilliant care for her and upon picking her up I got a picture of her with all the staffs messages and well wishes on the back, it was a really nice gesture. My second dog went in last week with a very upset tummy and Dr Emily was so sweet and caring, she took the time to really listen to what I said and explained everything they wanted to do so I was fully aware. She explained all the costs and the things that we could skip if I couldn't pay the bill. I felt very comfortable and could tell her and the staff would take the best care of my dog. There are many lovely reviews of vet Miranda, I also have found her to be so caring, patient and sincere during the consult. She has helped immensely with my cat requiring medicinal CBD oil as part of his ongoing pain management program. I have received two follow up calls from Miranda, enquiring the welfare of my cat and how he is responding to the oil. I would recommend anyone consult with Miranda if they are looking for a new vet, someone mentioned Miranda taking steps to build rapport and connection with their pet, this is true and something I noticed during the initial consult so thank you Miranda for caring for my cat.

I discovered what a wonderful caring Vet clinic this is when my beloved cat Remmi developed an abscess after his immunisation performed elsewhere. It was Friday night , my usual Vet was not open and was closed for the weekend. Thank goodness for Miranda and her dedicated team , not only did she take my emergency call Friday night, triage Remmi alleviating my fears but also booked him to see her first thing on the Saturday, I could not have hoped for more professional and caring service for my furbaby. I am so happy with Lilydale Vet Centre we will come here for all our furbaby health needs from now on.

I'm not sure what happened to my previous review, so I am re-writing. I have been a client of Lilydale Vet Centre for a number of years, and have always had nothing but positive experiences. The vets are always, kind, caring, and compassionate, the vet nurses friendly and approachable, and the receptionists professional and accommodating. I couldn't ask for a better place to take my pets, whether it be for something minor, or major, I have never felt more at ease leaving my pets with someone than leaving them with this team. Had to get my old doggy put to sleep a few weeks ago. I saw Miranda, and was very touched by how patient and comforting she was through the entire process. Extraordinarily compassionate. I felt that my girl was very cared for, and totally confident that she would be well looked after and respected until her ashes were returned to me. Highly recommend Miranda if you need to make a difficult appointment, especially during the pandemic where loved ones may not be allowed in to support. That little bit of extra care goes a long way.

The level of care and love shown by this veterinary clinic to its fur clients in unparalleled in my experience. Miranda is a pet's best friend - more than just their fixer of things that hurt, she shows genuine love and compassion and a desire for them to live their best life, whatever their circumstances. Yes, even when they are in their final days.. My recommendation for this service is rock solid - we are very grateful to have Miranda and her crew in our life.

Kind, caring, loving and compassionate. I will always travel to see Miranda and her team! I know that if invasive measures are ever recommended, it will be because they are required. Care/treatment isn’t weaponised as a sales tactic. - Miranda and the team were there to answer all our questions and ensure Gus’s comfort during his last days. - The first point of call treating Piper’s bung knee was a brace (that they don’t sell), not surgery.

I found the nurse who obtained our (mine and my dog's) information to be extremely polite, knowledgeable and caring towards animals. He was genuinely interested in the welfare of the dogs who were arriving and leaving during my visit, which was very comforting. It is expensive to attend the clinic after hours. However, this is to be expected. And having such a service available locally is also reassuring.

This has to be the best veterinary practice in the area. I travel from another side of MLB now, to see Miranda. Recently my newly adopted greyhound had a corn removed. During the procedure they cleared her teeth, and clipped her nails as well. Following day they called to check up on her and follow up check up appointment has been made. Caring, knowledgeable, and professional, I’d never go anywhere else.

Called up to clarify routine information about my dog and was subjected to an extraordinarily rude, torrent of abuse from the male owner. I was so shocked about his disproportionate response that I have never returned, and warned anyone else seeking a vet to stay well away. For those reading reviews to seek a vet: there is an evident pattern of poor behaviour with the male vet to take caution.

Our now 16 year old Golden Retriever needed a procedure late last year and their service was excellent.

The team and Lilydale vet centre are so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Right from when you first call to make your appointment you get exceptional service and it only gets better from there. The reception team are so bright and wonderful and the Vets themselves mirror this same level of enthusiasm and care. Our dog Archie actually LOVES going to the Vet.

All the staff are super friendly- reception/admin and vet nurses. One of the best vets around, they have super friendly staff that are always happy to see our little lady Molly. They have a great puppy pre school program there that our girl loved and built great rapport with the staff there. She's always happy to see everyone there and it's a great environment. No short cuts taken at this Vet! The care of our twin kittens over the last six months has been enjoyable. With immunisations and spaying, all care was taken and the staff are engaged in their patients nature’s and well being. Dr. Miranda is clearly in the right job. They definitely go the extra mile. Very cute little vet boutique with a homey feel. Staff are very welcoming and compassionate and were happy to help me out when I brought a wild baby bird in off the street. The bird was seen by a vet in minutes, was checked over and we were able to release him back to his parents.
