Lindsay Park is one of my favorite park inside the downtown core. I take my dogs there often. ( Not a off leash) This park has several entry spots. Well paved and always has a decent amount of traffic. Tons of garbage cans, benches and picnic tables. Mainly flat with a few spots that have very low inclines. Great park for strollers. Has several spots that have water access along the elbow river. Park is well lit and a great park during the winter months as the paths are regularly cleared. There is LOTS of bunny rabbits at this park. You'll also see lots of ducks and geese by the bridge in the north end of the park. This park also leads to Roxboro Off Leash park, just continue south along the path. It's a short walk.

Lindsay Park is definitely one of my favourite parks in Calgary. Very peaceful and relaxing place to clear your head and/or escape those lonesome boring nights so many of us experience. Personally I love to have a little fire every once in a while.... like tonight!!! Great place for the family during day as well, with beach/waterfront paths/rest spots, picnic areas and of course a playground for the little angels to burn off all that energy!!!

This is a great little park tucked in behind the Repsol Centre along the Elbow River. A great place to go for a walk and see all kinds of small animals or visit the playground. It is nicely shaded on a hot day and there are lots of little picnic tables and benches scattered around the park for a picnic.

A great park near the MNP Sports Center, with play equipment, bike trails, walking paths and picnic seating with loads of shaded spots to stop at. In the early mornings there are loads of rabbits out to brighten your (or your children's) day.

Great place to eat home made sushi in a park! The group of geese in this area is very kind and gives space to visitors. Try not to make eye contact with the large squirrel in the middle of the park until around your 10th visit.

  • Nicholas Bastien

Great park for kids, dogs and family activities and the river is close by and there are benches and picnic tables lots of options to chose which way to go always leads you to new paths and parks

Always so peaceful here. There is an adorable abundance of rabbits and squirrels! It is usually well kept and clean of litter. I love coming here as a little escape from the buzz of downtown!

Our favourite spot. We go to Repsol sports Center which has changed to MNP. In spring n Summer, after my kids swimming lesson, we go to the park to spend some quality time with family.

I visit here often as it quite uplifting with the natural surroundings & wildlife. It's a perfect distance to walk here for me & I have met some very nice people in this park.

Lots of nice little spots to sit and enjoy nature although do look out for needles as it's frequented by quite a few drug addicts but for the most part it's a very nice area

Hermoso y significativo parque, con gran cantidad de animales salvajes, incluyendo patos y otros variados tipos de aves, conejos y ardillas, muy limpio y bien cuidado.

Decent park, the bunnies in the spring are so cute great for walking, not a ton of facilities but there are some picnic tables and a playground. …

Awesome little park. Allows drinking beer (only at specified tables, not along the beach). Smoking crack throughout the whole park is tolerated.

Close to the stampede station. Our everyday goto walking place. Way quieter than walking on side walks. Has a lot of picnic benches.

Great for a nice stroll in the park or set up a nice game of spike ball. Not overly busy as it is pretty hidden.
