"What a pack of lazy staff, went there at 4"
"I have to say that considering what prices are charged for many of their goods the standard for me has been lacking"
"I used this Waitsose many times, spent much money in this place : Wine, food for microwave etc"
"No one can ask for a better food quality than what Waitrose is offering"
"Two stars"
What a pack of lazy staff, went there at 4.15pm today 17/01/2021, don't like using the self style checkouts and asked to be served at a normal till, the eastern European lady said that no tills were open when I had to use the self service tills, Waitrose policy states that all services to be disinfected after each customer had left wasn't happening, I'd been previously told that if you asked to be served at a till then they would serve you, doesn't seem to be the case. I wont be coming back anytime soon.
I have to say that considering what prices are charged for many of their goods the standard for me has been lacking. Not only that but - I order a delivery which was brought to me in wet paper bags and my shopping fell through the bottom. I lost a couple of items due to the simple case of poor packing processes. This is is simple stuff. Usually I like their goods and will still buy them but - if I buy premium, high end, luxury goods I do expect a little better. Sorry.
I used this Waitsose many times, spent much money in this place : Wine, food for microwave etc. Appx few months ago bought chicken and dumpling( 2 boxes ) it was awful after microwave (following intructions on item) chicken was like " leather " and cutting into dumplng was like cutting into piece wood, Seriously! !) I never been back to Salisburys again. By now I must have cost Sainsburys appx £ 800. I'm glad to say.
No one can ask for a better food quality than what Waitrose is offering. From ingredients to fully prepared meals, Waitrose offers a wide range of organic, non-organic, vegan, free from and many other special dietary needs. Great customer service and a rewarding loyalty card. This is a small store, almost like a taster to the real Waitrose experience, but I love it cause it’s my local store.
Two stars. Why ? Well Waitrose. It was going to be a 5 star review but... 1. Your Free coffee ordering process is a pain. 2. You closed your fresh meat and fish counter and replaced it with a click an collect (lazy...cos that was already possible). 3. Your staff for the most part are excellent but on the odd occasion I have experienced rudeness. Still a good store. Just not a good waitrose.
A middle-aged woman who works at the till every Thursday here is the most disinterested, rude and off-putting worker I've ever met. She treated me like a thief when I wanted my change, acted like I'd lied about having a discount card and after I showed her that and my bank card, she then stood there still not giving me the change. She shouldn't be allowed to work at the till.
It is very pricey: you might find products on offer which are still more expensive than other places. However, you can find products that are more difficult to find elsewhere. They also have a bakery at the back where they sell bread and pastries. At the entrance, there is a small sitting area with high stools.
Of all of what I like to call the 'little shops', I have to say that Little Waitress is probably my favourite. From the name you might expect rows and waiting people but nothing good be further from the truth. The only rows you will find here are rows of...erm...crisps? No, bottles. Rows of bottles.
Like all Waitroses, it's expensive but the quality is quite good. They have a lot of specialist items on sale but tend to focus on gluten free products for their speciality items rather than vegan. The in-store bakery is really nice. They also often have things reduced and on offer.
While the prices are generally higher than most other supermarkets this branch has some great offers from time to time, although stock is limited due to the small size. The staff have always been professional and friendly. The free tea and coffee for card holders is a bonus.
I found an excellent range of good quality fruit and vegetables. A choice range of cheeses and for the size of shop the range of cooked meat and fresh would suit most tastes. Didn't examine in detail but there seemed to be a good selection of wine. A very useful shop.
It's Waitrose so the price is to be expected, however I do not find the food offered much better than the Sainsbury's just down the road. This branch has a large selection for a 'Little' store. Plus free coffee is always good (although this now requires a purchase).
Great shop, staff are lovely. Fantastic food & range, good for dairy free stuff, specialty veg, frozen & jars. Shops clientele are somewhat snooty but that's due to location. Shop is great though, so much selection, a refreshing change from tesco, sainsburys etc
It’s a medium-small Waitrose with a good selection and variety. Modern and good for small jobs and daily food. Could be better / could be worse. In the plus side it is well located and better than many of the other grocery shops in that area.
It used to be really good. Unfortunately it's been relayed by by people who don't understand food retail. Too much space for wine and beer no space for the thing's that makes Waitrose special. Sainsbury's have better stock and are cheaper
Really attentive staff & a pleasure to shop here. The products are good quality & the service is upheld to a very good standard. I go out of my way to shop here regularly .. it’s just a ‘cut above’ the rest. Julia from Redland
Lovely shopping experience. Friendly lad at the door. Found what I needed and a smooth process at the self service pay point. Compared very favourably to a Sainsbury's click and collect session a few weeks ago.
Free tea and coffee with a clubcard! The branded items are expensive and the own produce is as you would expect. Wouldn't recommend the packet sandwiches etc as the quality is surprisingly low.
Quick, good service and always high quality products. Very expensive though compared to other grocery shops. You pay the price for what you get. If you can shop here, weheeey good for you ;)
I know Waitrose is overpriced. But this place has a decent amount of deals and reduced products it's alright. Good selection of alcohol as well. Had some lovely Badger brewery IPAs.
Great place to buy groceries. Good variety of products and great quality. Have good COVID measured in place so there’s not a lot of people inside the store at the same time.
The facelift some months ago has been poor. The allocation of lots more space for booze and snacks has meant less for fresh food. It's much less of a pleasure to shop there.
are ì kof Edinburgh and and and I had weekend 50th to to r and the 50th to r and the to r and the weekend weather st Andreweekend weekend as rye5 and w3and then I will
I've only just found this small Waitrose - despite walking regularly past it on the other side of Queen's Road. It has the usual great quality food.
Witnessed an unfortunate incident this morning. Whoever is in charge of this branch needs to Increase the security for staff and it's customers.
I had excellent customer service from Natallie she served me at the till. Very ckean storevsnd welk laid out. Good store to shop in.
Very bad service and staff not wearing mask asked for help was told to give her some space . Wouldn't service on normal till
NIC is the shining example of waitrose's kind spirit! She was very helpful and understanding. She made my day, thank you!
Beautiful well run /stocked store . Friendly helpful staff, great atmosphere, very efficient , clean ,well presented store
Well stocked during these difficult times. Didn't have to queue for long, staff was very polite and professional. Thanks
Good except hot food so hot that taking a bite of a pasty scolded my mouth... no warnings of this potential danger
First class service from dedicated friendly staff. Range a bit limited, but for a convenience store - pretty good.
Staff make this such a pleasant place to shop , especially the long term staff , there all so happy and pleasant
A well looked after store with luxury supermarket foods, particularly one person meals and lunch solutions.
It's alright - nothing above that. Prices are high (not surprise for Waitrose), but it's good quality food.
This Waitrose has got a varitey of food and good staff! They have also got the free coffe if your a member
Nice' security guard although the masks are £15 deditnley taking advantage of the covid-19 situation
Taking advantage of free newspaper and coffee deal if you spend over £10, with Waitrose membership.
The staff are all so helpful and it's such a lovely little supermarket with a nice choice of food.
Helpful staff, good selection of produce and collection point for online shopping is very useful!
Always excellent service. Good selection of products for a small shop. They do Deliveroo too!
All the staff are always very friendly. The store is well presented and has a great bakery
It reeks of coffee - not pleasant. Only go in there when sainsburys don't have what I need
Good convenient waitrose. Nice and close to the Nuffield Gym for nibbles on the way home.
Good segregation and social distancing. Customers counted in and out of the shop.
Ok but didn't realise how expensive it was till I paid 4 the item staff very good
Nice little supermarket. Good selection of ore packaged meals. 3 for 7 pounds.
Qualititave in terms of grocery shopping, but the staff & employees are evil.
Lovely little supermarket but pricey you pay for convenience that's about it.
Nice little store. Management and staff all following social distancing rules
Very friendly staff and quick mobile checkout available too. Very convenient.
Good range of products and click and collect for John Lewis orders is a plus.
Good little Waitrose. Friendly, well stocked and quick to get in and out of.
Nic clean store but as expected a little pricier than others. Parking zero.
Very good indeed. Great produce, great service. Not cheap but real quality
You have to go to the larger store because they don't have certain items.
Great little Waitrose, with friendly staff. Always tidy and well-stocked.
Extremely long queuing. Not happy considering there was plenty of staff
A very handy shop, with a decent range (especially given its size).
Decent size and good range of products super friendly staff too
Great small store, easy to get in & out to make quick purchases
Very quick service and a wide choice of sandwiches/lunch deals
Needs better selection of bread.smaller than needed for area.
A great place to shop with great quality food and produce!
Staff are really helpful & good at helping solve problems!
A good store that makes an effort on social distancing
Really not the level of service I expect from Waitrose
Nice staff and plenty of choice on all shelves today
Well maintained, but a bit labyrinthine in design.
Small and convenient waitress, it has all you need
Mothering Sunday flower prices a complete rip-off
A great shop to have in this area. High quality.
Easy to get round well stocked helpful staff
Interesting layout, but a handy little shop.
