"Just finished 2 weeks of jury service"

"Very poor service! Understaffed, no duty socilotor attended then Understaffed on probation officers waited over two hours to get an appointment to see a propagation officer"

"If you're self employed I'd stay well away from jury service! I lost £2000 in wages while I was there and to say they make it difficult to claim it back is an understatement, even after I gave them the relevant documents that they asked for, disgusting behaviour in a cost of living crisis"

"Can't complain about this place, although I spent just over 5 months on remand for something I didn't have anything to do with, they acquitted me long before my trial (malicious wounding with intent) :-) and I got £2,600 compensation as a result :-D"

I didn't like it, but as my civic duty, I had to attend Jury Duty. Security and Covid security is high due to the nature of the building. Making the whole experience very safe. Cafe supply a great choice of food and refreshments while you are trapped inside this building. Free WiFi for those waiting as jurors. Other than that, dated building, centre of Liverpool, close to town and other major areas of Liverpool such as docks and public transport links. For her majesty and her fine work with Justice!

Just finished 2 weeks of jury service. Looked after from the minute you walk through the doors. All staff were really very helpful. Yes, there is a lot of waiting around if you don't land a significant case, but I met some lovely people who helped that time pass. Only landed one case, but just to witness the legal process was so interesting. I was a bit apprehensive when my summons arrived, but I'm now glad I had that opportunity.

Very poor service! Understaffed, no duty socilotor attended then Understaffed on probation officers waited over two hours to get an appointment to see a propagation officer. However seems to be alot of office people and people walking round doing absolutely nothing but trying to make themselves look busy. There is no communication between Colleagues ect, the whole place was a total shambles and waste of time.

While it functions fine as a law court, the cafeteria staff have irritated me by making it clear that whoever shouts loudest gets served first, regardless of the line. And they make the food after each order

The food and drink in the cafe is to die for. Every savoury, smoky, sweet, and spicy bit hits all your taste buds like pool balls heading towards a pocket, an exceptional culinary experience awaits you.

I can’t believe that racism is even inside the courts, you can be having a decision base on your race despite of you matching the law in that area. It’s absolutely disgusting.!!!

Fair Judgement, good judges, warm spacious cells but building needs some cosmetic modernizations. Maybe more lights around? =]

  • Geoffrey Peyton

Disgusting behaviour towards the general public by the door security, especially Charlie, whose rudeness is downright poor.
