Parking can be busy depending on day/time. - $2.50 per hr for street ticket parking. - Free before 9am weekdays - Lower ground parking available but can be costly if more than 2hrs. Liverpool hospital: Unfortunately I’ve had to visit the hospital on a regular basis. Since the upgrade.. - phone coverage is very weak. Call drops out depending on location. - free wifi ( however very slow but doesn’t work in all sections of hospital) - Front reception: staff are knowledgeable & efficient. - Hospital layout is much bigger & better. - Signage is simple & easy to read. - Lift A & B are the busiest & slowest. - Lots of new lifts & toilets. - Toilets are clean and well maintained. - Facilities include; * Newsagent * Pharmacy * Florist * Food court * Vending machines * Op shop * Pay station / Cashier (in new section) Customer service: I’ve always had mixed experiences. Depending on the department & urgency of treatments, Day & time. As a shift worker doing long hours like the nurses & staff at the hospital it is quite exhausting on the body. I’ve noticed there have been staff shortages thanks to our health ministers & politicians. Staff pay cuts as advised by staff & staff being over worked. Liverpool is a fast growing suburb & the demand is very high. Today I visited the Renal department to see a kidney specialist, my appointment was at 9am, I wasn’t seen until 11:15. I was annoyed but the staff & Dr’s were doing the best they possibly can. The room was filled with patients. No spare chairs. All hands on deck. Professor Angela Makris - Nephrologist Is by far the best Kidney Specialist I’ve EVER seen. I’ve been to many hospitals for my kidneys.. Angela is Very educated, knowledgeable, professional & kind. Words can’t express my gratitude.

Liverpool hospital in has been outstanding!!! During Covid they have been strict and keeping their patients safe. ring you before your appointment to make sure your not symptomatic or being in contact with anyone who been positive, prior to surgery you have to isolate two weeks before and covid test 2/3 days before so it’s a relief for yourself how amazing they are trying to keep everyone safe!! From appointments right up until Surgery they been outstanding making sure you have plenty of information that you require to feel reassured. Surgery to aftercare again I can’t fault the surgeon and relevant staff they really do go out of their way to make sure your happy, safe and comfortable. Always friendly and ask if you need anything and when you call for assistance, nothing is too trouble for them. Surgeon LeonHiew is a absolutely fantastic surgeon, very thorough and very helpful giving you advice. Aftercare he comes to reassure you and the following day. Especially if you have any questions. The food here was absolutely beautiful so hot and very. Again always asking if you want anything even outside of meal times. I recommend this hospital so much to everyone. Will not go anywhere else for private care. Thanks

The nurses do a great job taking care of you. The hospital though has a serious problem with it's discharge system. On average it's taking people 5-6 hours to be discharged. This is UNACCEPTABLE. This is because of a terrible system where you are wheeled down to the discharge lounge and then have to wait until the doctors prepare your papers. The problem is they can take as long as they want to do this. There is no mandate for doctors to follow that gives them a time limit to finish the papers. There is such a normalization of making people wait that the discharge clerks just forget about you and don't do anything until you start to complain. I was taken down to the discharge lounge at 10:00 but I wasn't discharged until 3:00!!! Hospital management needs to do something to fix this..

Dear fellow Aussies, why is it that a government hospital would charge visitors for car parking. Having worked for over 5 decades in this wonderful country should pay while trying to visit a close friend at this hospital for the first time. My seniors card was not helpful either. Even having small piccolo latte was uncomfortable to stay and relax after my visit. Our politicians have sold almost all our assets, disgusting and appalling. I commend and appreciate all Nurses, Doctors and all staff at our hospitals, my issue is with the charges for locals to visit their loved ones. My friends mother is at Westmead hospital and they accept seniors card for three hrs free parking, why doesn’t Liverpool Hospital do the same.

If I could give it no stars I would. I have already had bad experiences at Liverpool hospital. Last time I was there I leave and end up with a virus that lasts an entire month. I wasn’t even the patient. Now I have been forced to go there to give birth since nowhere else will take me and I can’t even get through to book an appointment. I get told that I would be contacted by someone at the hospital. I have been trying to get in contact to book and anti natal appointment for the last week. I am not happy and I really think they should be more courteous with their patients. Have someone at the phone like all the other departments do.

I would like to share my maternity experience with Liverpool Public Hospital . I had my baby on 21/04/23. When I first get there,I get your private suite with a bathroom until delivery. A support person can stay with you, but you can bring an air mattress with you if you want. My initial midwife was Ellen. Then had Amanda & Noor. They were awesome and were really helpful. After delivery, I get to share a room with one other mum and get a ensuite which was shared between me and the other mom. The food was not great overall experience was good. Midwife’s and nurses was extremely helpful

Hi, my name is Michaela and I have been in this hospital twice by now. Today 16/11/23 was my second time. I was in extreme pain with my back, shoulder and neck. I arrived at 3am taken in by 4am sorted out after a short hospital stay and discharged by 1.20pm. I want to compliment the Hospital for hiring such professional kind and caring staff members such as physiotherapist Elise and Nurse in-training Shanen. I appreciate all the help I have received today and particularly these two ladies. Thank you! I can recommend this Hospital one of the good ones comparing to Bankstown.. bah

My mom has been waiting 4 DAYS for an ERCP, which is normally an outpatient procedure. It has been cancelled three times with no notice, information or reason, and each time she has to prepare by fasting so they have not fed her properly for 3 DAYS. And when asked why it's being cancelled all the nurses can say is that since Liverpool Hospital is the largest, smaller hospitals like Fairfield and Bankstown send patients for procedures that take precedence, which only pushes patients at Liverpool waiting further and further down the list.

Where do I begin the Doctors lack compassion and empathy the most shocking thing you get told over and over again we are not a hotel making you feel like you are burden to on the healthcare system when clearly your in extreme pain and just need some pain relief and to top it up you get sent home with a canula in arm which they failed to remove. Hospital lacks cleanliness and some nurses are extremely rude we spoke to nurse addressing the issue over when we were disregarded and spoken to rudely.

my whole family comes here when there is a health issue and although many of them have died there and stuff it was a very pleasant place to be even though it is a hospital i enjoyed the food there and the staff it’s a bit of a trek cause i live all the way in calcutta india but it’s so worth it i do wish there was some kfc as i like that stuff very much anyways i am heading there now as i have just had a heart attack from eating a jar of chilli oil

This is the worst hospital to ever exist, the nurses are ridiculously rude and so so disrespectful they absolutely have no care about any patient what so ever. I feel so so sorry for anyone that gets put in this hospital, nurses hear the patients screaming and asking for help and instead they ignore and chatter away. I would rather die than get sent back here!!!! Minus 10 stars

Very clean hospital with great amenities. Some areas are nice and quiet but others are the opposite so don't expect to get any sleep in those. Great hub for specialist trauma care with some of the best surgeons in Australia. Communication between services and staff can be lacking so you do need to keep track. All in all, its actually a decent hospital.

  • Karl Hamad

I can not praise the midwives, nursing staff and doctors at the birthing, paediatrics and children’s wards here enough they are an amazing group of professionals. The only issue I found was the discharge process is super long but can’t blame them due to the way the government is continuously undercutting and understaffing our healthcare sector.

  • Mista E

this is the 2nd worst hospital in Sydney if you can avoid it do it Bankstown is 1st worst Generally speaking poor maintenance, poor doctors, great nurses, abuse of system, ignorance to peoples needs ive had too many horror stories here but its my local I have no choice

  • Dary

Don’t bother ringing trying to get through maternity, partner is 35 weeks pregnant (high risk) emergency was rude on phone and and after 16 tries of transferring, the line cut out. Multiple times a day we have rung and still cannot get through. Very unprofessional

Liverpool Hospital NSW at the moment is having a big renovation and big changes too. If you have a appointment at Hospital yes we all wait long queue, but we all need to be patient and understand hey that's my opinion. Sorry I didnt take a picture.

The most empathetic and determined kidney specialist is Dr Angela Macris ! She was my fathers Dr who without her fighting for my beautiful father , I would have gone crazy! She is a great Dr with a fighting spirit. Angela if you come across

  • Mark Butler

Yes they are saving lives but they don't have to be so bloody rude. There is a huge culture problem at this hospital with so much waste and staff complaining about being busy but not using any good systems to manage time and care better.

  • Daniel Uy

Very slow. More than 5 hrs waiting in emergency services my daughter hardly breath because of possible pneumonia from GP recommendation to bring her in emergency. How come you have to wait for more than 5 hours in emergency services and

Their Antenatal dpt wont pick up the phone ever. I called the hospital multiple times to cancel an appointment. They kept putting me through to Antenatal dpt and no one picks up ever. And none of the Antenatal numbers they provide works.

  • Tatjana Divuljski-Miller

I want to thank all the staff at your hospital that cared for my father. From the time we handed his administration papers till the time time he received his discharge papers we were very impressed and the information in between his

The team at Liverpool Hospital were exceptional. The team at Liverpool Hospital were exceptional. Special shout out to all the nurses that looked after me at the Orthopaedics trauma ward. I credit my recovery to all of you <3

Good hospital but I think that when ambos are in bed block they should hand out consolation snacks like when you're on a plane and it gets delayed so they have to feed you idk just a thought but guess I'm just a driver haha

  • PETER AMIE

Was stuck here for 5 weeks with Meningitis back in 2020. They treated me with the outmost care. Thank you nurses and doctors. I am now 95% recovered. I still feel abnormal at times but lucky to be alive.❤️❤️ …

  • Aakash Subedi

We had a very very worst experience.Midwifes are very unprofessional. They have time to gossip and make noise at corridor but don't have time to respond to patient's call. Would not recommend this hospital to anyone.

Big carpark, but is expensive. Roughly 24 dollars for a few hours. I'd like to think they use this money on the hospital so I can justify the expense.

  • A S

All they do is take tests and look busy. Unless you are physically injured, they won't help with much.

  • John Jones

Spent a couple of nights having iodine ablation level 3 Ward D - was pretty good no complaints

  • Samuel Piatscheck

Yeah it wasn't a good experience. Waited 6 hours until 5am for literally nothing
