I was using this pharmacy for 8 years for my medically complex kid. The staff used to be incredible, knew us by name, understood all of her medication allergies, always went above and beyond. Then Lisa and her incredible staff all left and our nightmare began! Taking days to refill even though I would give enough notice, consistently trying to fill 2-3 months worth when my insurance only covers one month at a time so continued delays as they had to cancel and then fill the meds again. No one would pick up the phone. My breaking point was them saying they would fill a med. I went to pick it up 2 days and 3 hours after the said it would be ready (because with the new staff, nothing was ever ready when they said it would). At pick up they informed me they did not have stock and that they wouldn’t have stock for a month. They told me that I had to call around and find a place that had the med. I was upset, this is a medication that could not be stopped Cold turkey and I only had 2 dosages left (called in early enough, they just take forever). Lisa and her staff would have called me the moment they realized they didn’t have stock and would have also tracked down the medication for me. To be left in a panic after waiting forever for the refill and only to be told at pick up that they do not and will not have the med anytime soon was unacceptable. I went home and started to call around. Thankfully I found a pharmacy quickly that has stock. I had them fax this pharmacy to send the prescription so that they could fill it. They told me they would have it ready within 2 hours (to give time for the fax). Great! Almost as soon as I hung up, the “new” pharmacy called requiring if there was more than one medication I needed filled ASAP. I told them no, this was the only medication I was feeling panicked about. I was told that this pharmacy faxed the wrong medication!!! I could not believe it. The “new” pharmacy called them right away and not long after I received a text that the medication was ready. I immediately decided that this “new” pharmacy would become our full-time one. The service was how Lisa and staff were like and they asked all of the right questions. This location took forever to transfer all of my childs prescriptions. Then when they finally did something, they didn’t send them all. When you are a medical mom, the pharmacy becomes a big part of your medical team. Lisa and her staff were always amazing and took so much stress away during med changes, after hospitalizations, etc… I had asked for the pharmacy manager to call me and of course they never did. If you can, change pharmacies ASAP, especially if you care for someone who is medically complex.
The pharmacist made a dispensing error for my husband’s medication. Good thing my son spotted the error early on and he was told by another pharmacist (at the same pharmacy) to pick up the correct medication the next day. When my son picked up the correct medication he also met the pharmacy manager. The pharmacy manager did not apologize for the error nor did he mention what measures would be taken to prevent the error from occurring again. The pharmacy manager just gave my son the correct medication and then brushed him off. My son then spoke with the store manager about this incident. Turned out the store manager had no control over the pharmacy but the store manager gave my son a email contact so my son could put this incident in writing. The store manager agreed to pass my son’s email message to the pharmacy director. My son sent the email message but the store manager never replied and never passed the message. As a last resort my son sent a complaint to the Alberta College of Pharmacy.
Staff never answer the phone. I called the customer service line at the store and the representative told me it’s better to just go to the pharmacy in person, which is ridiculous. I then made a complaint to the assistant manager before the pharmacy department was willing to speak to me on the phone. The entire process took about an hour. It’s stressful and a waste of time. This is the only pharmacy I know that deliberately refuses to answer the phone. As a customer, how am I to fill my prescription or check on the status of my fill? I dropped off my prescription and was told that I had to wait for hours. I had to leave the store and then come back. At other pharmacies I normally wait 30 minutes max. I will never buy from this pharmacy again. I’m going to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. I only bought from them this time because they had a medication in stock which was unavailable at the pharmacies that I normally go to.
I have been going to this pharmacy for 13 years. The staff was great and super helpful. Lisa, Sarah, Katherine and Jelena to name a few of the wonderful staff working here. Recently, I needed a script filled a day early and a new pharmacist I’d never seen before was completely unbearable. He was rude, condescending and made me feel like a junkie - I am a chronic pain patient who relies on certain medications during flare ups. My family has decided to move all of our prescriptions to another pharmacy. This man has no human compassion. Best of luck to all of my favourite pharmacy workers. I will miss interacting with you each month.
Prescription faxed in nine days ago. I came to pick it up a week ago and they said they didn't receive the fax. Called doctors office after the long weekend, their fax record shows it was sent. They faxed it again two days ago. Came to pick it up and for some reason Loblaw Pharmacy decided not to fill it. They said to come back in 15 minutes. I did. Then they said to wait another 10 minutes. This is a medication they just have to stick a label on (Champix). I got it in the end. Literally. Nine days after it was ordered. This is the absolute BEST pharmacy, if you really don't need your meds and don't value your time.
If you're looking for customer service, look elsewhere. Extremely rude and ridiculous wait times. I politely asked for an over the counter medication which I have been using for years, and was told to wait for it as it had to be put through the system. After telling the lady that I have purchased this item at a dozen pharmacies without a wait time, I was met with a condescending response as if I was the one who didn't know what I was talking about. Any pharmacy can be a bit painful but this one is a whole different level. Literally go anywhere else.
I often use this pharmacy to get my own medications. They are a hard-working pharmacy that often get quite busy in the evenings and weekends. Make sure you call ahead of time to fill your prescription so you don't have to end up waiting for 40 minutes plus. I have always received genuine, informed, empathetic care from all of the employees here. They are very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to ensure you receive your medication.
Avoid this place. Don’t answer there phone. Zero customer service. Dropped a prescription off on a Friday, said come back tomorrow because we don’t have any stock. The next day they wouldn’t fill the prescription said they needed a new prescription. Long weekend no doctor available. After many hours finally got them to fax the original prescription to a Costco pharmacy. Filled right away. No hassles.
Seems my original review has been deleted. Always up for a challenge, here is a readers digest. I moved all my prescriptions to London Drugs. Ready when they say they are, friendly, and informative. EVERYTHING this place isn’t. BRUTAL customer service…. Hard pass. And since one one really cares about a review (these guys certainly don’t) I take my money and business elsewhere…. Buh bye.
Staff Michael was very nice and helpful. Very professional. But you cannot get through the phone call at all. Being calling for over an hour, either no one picks up, or someone picked up the phone and just left the phone on the side and no answer. All I wanted was to speak to someone. They seem to be very short of staff. Every time I go in to get a Rx filled minimum wait was half hour.
Absolutely TERRIBLE service over the past few months. Had an appointment lon November 10, 2023 for CoVid booster. Waited 10 minutes for someone to notify that we were there, then another 50 minutes before getting booster as the woman at Drop Off/reception couldn’t be bothered to notify the pharmacist that we had an appointment. Service is aloof and arrogant— not like in past
It’s definitely very long to get your prescription. Min 30 min to over a day. They ask you if you are ok to wait until next day. Staff is nice but they are most likely understaffed given the long wait. Lots of pharmacies face the same issue though! Never had any issues when I called though. Probably depends on the hour of the day.
Last night they told us it takes one hour (it wasn’t busy they are likely understaffed). I told them we cone tomorrow. I went there at noon and they had not processed my prescription due to “mix up”. I could not wait any longer and have to go back again. What a waste of time. This will be my last prescription here.
NOT FOR THE PHARMACY ITSELF: But the E-refill mobile website they have you use, is s***. Why can't you guys fix it so that it's layed out nicely and words aren't on top of each other when you try to select something?? It makes it very difficult and frustrating to navigate!
i’ve been going to the pharmacy for years and it’s been fine, usually 30ish minutes to get a prescription filled. now it’s over 24 hours to get something filled. the wait times are atrocious and the staff are less than helpful. i will be switching pharmacies.
Customer service is definitely non-existent. Needed to book a flu shot since walk-ins are not available during COVID, tried calling at noon. The calling queue sent me back to the beginning of call 5 times. Tried calling again 1 hour later, same thing.
If you’re in a hurry, need a reliable service or want to avoid frustration, I’d look elsewhere. If you have lots of free time and want to keep coming back day after day for the same prescription this might be the place for you.
Booked flu shot appointment. Come here 10 mins before appointment and the pharmacist has the audacity to say the computer should not let you book appointment as we close in 50mins. Who sets up the system? Learn to do your job
Had my doctor fax over a prescription, showed up 4 hours later to pick it up they told me they wouldn't have it ready that day, been trying to call them for 3 days now and their pharmacy doesn't answer the phone.
Whoever I just spoke with refused to help me, swore at me and hung up on me. I can't believe you guys actually run a business like this. Absolutely pathetic. I'll never come to this pharmacy again
This is one of the worst places for customer service. People leave you on hold for an hour and are not helpful at all. I'm transferring my business to a Shoppers Drug Mart immediately.
UNBELIEVABLY S L O W... 6 people in line for pickup, SIX PEOPLE WORKING, and the line hasn't moved in over a half hour. I've never experienced incompetence at this level in my life.
They don't answer their phone, just re-route you back to the main menu. Hours wasted trying to fill perscription because it's hours to wait if you go in without calling ahead.
theres a girl who always works here and bad attitude nicola she always cuts me off never coming here again manager won’t listen to my complains used to be a good place
Do not waste your time with this low quality service pharmacy. I wait half an hour for paying the bill and pick up my order, but their toll does not work.
Hi phone in service of prescription refills are very good for accuracy and time window.very satisfied with service and friendly response.
Customer service has gone down hill. Sadly will need to transfer all my prescriptions elsewhere
Super kind and quick with my prescription this morning. Definitely went out of the way to help.
New pharmacist Tadros is rude and unorganized. Everything you need in a pharmacy manager.
Service is amazing :) staff are always courteous and efficient
Messed up with my prescription and no one answered the phone.
Nice pharmacy and drug store located in Superstore.
Too long wait times! Hate to go this place!
