Bill at Lockmaster1 was superb. Firstly, we got 3 quotes on the bank holiday for an emergency front door lock break, and not only were Lockmaster1 the most competitive, but importantly Bill took the most time to understand our issue and clearly knew his stuff as could describe our issue. From a few pictures he was diagnosing possible issues with our front door lock. When he arrived he was fully equipped, and took time to explain what he was going to do and diagnose the lock problem, the likely cause and what we could do to avoid it in the future. Once the door lock was finished he went above board to tweak the soft close on our lock which undone some shoddy work before which had been done by a generalist handyman. Bill knows his stuff and I’ll be using him again ... I actually was so impressed with the finished work that I excitedly ran upstairs to persuade my partner to come and have a look - 2 people who were very agnostic about the joy a door locks could bring, have now been compelled to write a 5 star Google review! Highly recommend these guys.

Excellent service provided by Bill from Lockmaster1 Ltd (importantly, they are inspected and approved by the Master Locksmith Association). He was able to identify the most likely cause of my broken lock over the phone, gave me a fixed quote so I knew how much it would cost (unlike two other companies, who were also charging call-out fees), and arrived at my home within 25 mins. He was clearly very knowledgeable and not only did he quickly fix my lock, he also identified and resolved another issue I was having with my front door at no extra cost. I cannot recommend him enough for his skill, professionalism, honesty and willingness to go above and beyond.

I worked with them before when I got locked out of my house. The came very fast and let me back in. He needed to install a new lock, but it was a reasonable price. I had also an issue with my door where I thought it was misaligned and when he came there was a piece of my alarm motion detector that was preventing the door from getting properly closed. He noticed straight away, my door wasn't misaligned or anything. He kindly refused to charge for the visit, despite coming to fix my working door. I thought I might get charged for being silly :) They're reliable and professional and I totally recommend you keep them on your contacts for emergencies.

Really nice guy and used him a couple of times and seems very trustworthy, efficient and reasonably priced. .. so why just two stars? Well, booked him to change and improve the lock on the back door and 1st day minimal contact then in the evening a text to say he could still come but I wouldn’t get his best work, second day turned up evening again (both about 6pm) and said he will book me in as would ‘definitely have to do it then’, third ‘booked’ day, no contact and didn’t come. Someone had broken in to our home so it was somewhat an urgency for me so went elsewhere. Would have rather he just told me he couldn’t do it.

We recently lost the key to our back door. After having had LowCosting Locksmiths in and them trying to rip us off for over £250 as well as other local locksmiths we got in touch with Bill. He was up front with the costs and we trusted him straight away. Not only was he much cheaper than these cowboy locksmiths he was also much more reliable. He didn't damage our door as others had said they would and he was extremely efficient. Will always use him moving forward and we would recommend to anyone looking for a local locksmith.

Accidently locked ourselves out when the front door slammed shut. I went on the Master Locksmiths Association's website as I had no doubt that an MLA locksmith would be able to promptly gain access non-destructively at the rate quoted without any dramas, & Bill was the local MLA locksmith who I called. Bill was absolutely amazing for an out of hours call out to fix a malfunctioning lock. I am a cat sitter who was locked out of my clients house. Bill arrived within 15 minutes and methodically fixed the problem lock, without the need for new keys, and only charged standard retail prices for replacement lock. Called Bill out to fix the main lock on my sliding doors – he completely replaced the mechanism and also provided a better internal locking solution with a twist mechanism (as opposed to a key) – then unprompted – he also fixed the lock on the adjacent door (which we had written off and dint think could be fixed without a callout from the window manufacturers) that had been out of order for the last few years. Lockmaster met me at my flat and he got my door open literally in minutes (kind of disturbing really)… whereas previous locksmith’s have drilled the lock out and charged me a fortune, lockmaster was able to unlock both locks and charged me less than a third of my previous locksmith. I contacted Bill at 9.30 on Sunday morning - and he was at the property by 11 to replace the room lock. My tenant had been trapped in her room all night (only able to exit by an awkward window!). He is friendly, careful and his rates are fair and very reasonable. I am very glad to know that there’s a really good Qualified Master Locksmith so close to the property especially as I am a considerable distance away.

Very experienced locksmith who has always been able to gain entry into premises without the need to have the locks changed. I have locked myself out of the front door about 5 times now over last 15 years and usually I have had to have a new lock put in which adds in a huge amount of money to the bill. This guy charges £90 and if he had to change the lock it would still be £90 as he is that honest.

Bill was fantastic! Called him as our back door wasn’t closing properly. He came within half an hour, knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it straight away. I didn't actually use Bill as turns out he no longer covers SE1 but I wanted to credit him for being so helpful recently with advice on the type of lock that I needed and the quote I had been given by a local locksmith. If I needed something for the SE10 area I would definitely give him a call!

Arrived same day I called to repair upvc balcony door which no longer locked. Service was excellent and he is very professional. He was wearing a mask and used hand sanitizer. Also had a card machine so really easy to pay. Will definitely use again if I have another broken lock in the house.
