Awful experience. Went to collect a parcel for redelivery, I had my ID, bank card and the confirmation emails which I'd done 5 days before and they'd given me my parcel then no problem. This time the woman working there initially said my parcel wasn't there, until I pointed out my name on the list. Then she started handing it over but the man working there came over and snatched it away and was incredibly rude - talking over me, not listening to me or making eye contact and shaking his head angrily at me because I didn't have the "Something for you" card. I said sorry I didn't realise because it wasn't an issue when I came last week and he just kept shouting and saying NO ONE would have given me my parcel last time if I didn't have the card when I know that's not true because I'd forgotten it last time and still have the card at home! I tried to ask questions about when I could next collect it and what I needed to bring but he just kept shouting over me and not answering me so I just had to leave. Felt so frustrated and humiliated to be shouted at by a professional in their place of work, came out shaking. Would never go back.

Utterly useless. They bumble around like they don't have a clue what they're doing. I ordered a redelivery and turned up on the day the website told me my parcel would be there - 2 days after I got the card. The guy stood there for a good 2 minutes explaining to me how he hadn't had time to look through the parcels that day and that it takes 3 days for a redelivery to come through (this is utter rubbish) and how he doesn't remember seeing my name on a parcel. So I stood there and didn't say anything, he eventually started looking through the box of parcels and found mine. Honestly, it's like he was standing there telling me why he hadn't done his bloody job properly. This is not even the half of what I have experienced at this place. The fact that it is now a bloody shop only makes the extremely poorly-run place more confusing.

Broke Post Office policies by sending my Parcels back early (within 18 days) to the main delivery office, However, this 'return' of parcels did not happen as the delivery office knew nothing about it. They stated it was still there at London Road. The delivery driver also agrees with this, therefore my parcel was lost/stolen. When going to collect my parcel they would'nt allow me to collect the parcel and screamed at me in the middle of the shop before telling me to "Fu** Off". London Road post office is totally unreliable and unprofessional. Looking at other reviews this 'lost parcel' also occurs regulary.

If the staffs think the package has the issue related with weight by eBay which automatically generated the label, then it should be rejected with reliable reason. In fact they've been accepted multiple times of my eBay packages three months ago with no problems while this time you guys rejected with such funny explanations of weightings without apologising your guys' fault months ago and wants to interrupt my questions of that careless for times while Central office successfully accepted. No wonder this such disaster service would be rated less than 2 out of 5.

The worst post office ever.They lost my parcel I had redirected there and wouldn't help.They ignore their costumers and are totally incompetent. They also make it inaccessible to disable people and people with buggies because they always have one of the doors on the latches so you only have a teeny narrow door to get through.I would have thought this was not allowed and is disability discrimination.They also NEVER come to help with the door if they see you struggling and make you mess around with the latches yourself .I avoid it if at all possible.

Unbelievably unprofessional with zero focus on customer service. Long queues whilst management are on the phone discussing non work related issues and ignoring customers. Constantly making mistakes with service requests, have had to step in on numerous occasions to question and correct. Disgusting & dirty premises that looks like its never been cleaned. Foul odour throughout. Hostile attitudes if challenged on any aspect of behaviour or business practices, have seen customers shouted at. Messy and dis-organised feel to the place. AVOID.

am disabled, access is terrible pain, door is in 2halfs 1 side is bolted so cant get in the place! is illegal to have it like this is the disability right of access law both hals could be fixed together to make one door it could be made automatic so both open to let everyone in properly.Is a nightmare of a place seems they are still living in the dark ages in there in more ways than one, attitude is very changeable sometimes to point of being offensive. I white people carried on like this they would be 1st to complain about it.

I’m only giving it 1 because I can’t give it a zero! This post office is dreadful. They will try to conduct the transaction with either no communication and eye contact at all or be intrusive. I simply went there because it was convenient for the time I had . Try using the post office in Evington road and at Peters road. The staff are so much more pleasant and able to help you if you need it . This place is dark and dirty and oppressive . I have never been in there and felt comfortable

I was ignored when I came up to the counter. When someone else came into the shop, they were served before me despite me being the first in the shop. The staff are certainly rude and really need to sort their attitude. I came here to post a parcel a few weeks ago and I was very annoyed at the staff behaviour. I will certainly not be returning here as this place needs serious improvements, not even mentioning its disability accessibility or lack thereof.

I have been to this post office today to collect my parcel and waited unnecessarily for long time while the person in the counter clear the queue. When I asked why I have to wait for a long time the person replied “shut up” and “I’m living in this country for long time” He behaved racially and I recommend this post office to be a very bad place where you will experience bad customer service and bad behaviour.

The first member of staff I encountered was incompetent, the second was painfully slow. The third who would appear to be in charge suggested I was a liar when I told him I had been there twenty minutes and still had not poates my parcel. One star is far too many for this establishment. What happened to the man across the road at the old post office?He was fantastic.

Terrible experience as usual! Three people working there, I was the only customer, yet I had to wait 5 minutes before somebody had the decency to greet me. They do not know what pre-paid label means and in general nobody knows what to do. The staff is incompetent and rude... can we please have a new post office in London road?

Useless! I was first in queue to be served and the guy stood there chatting to his friends and snail paced dealt with some letters. After around 5 -10minutes I asked for a proof of postage receipt as bought postage online to which he refused to do! Went to a post office that did do this for me. Avoid if you can.

I tried calling up but the man end up going silent where I called a few more times but no answer. This lead me to going into the post office and told them about this and I got told to not go back to the shop again just for giving customer feedback. City center here I come eyy

Edit: They refused to tape up a box unless I bought a whole roll of tape, sounds pretty stingy to me I see why no one likes this place now. Original: Very helpful staff very quick and efficient. Not sure what the other reviews are about.

Frequently used this post office and became very friendly with the staff, all 3 that I’ve spoken with that work there were very nice to me and always helped when I needed it. My only quarrel is the opening times as sometimes it was late

Terrible people employed at this place, the cheek to tell me to go elsewhere if I’m not happy with their service. Shows the lack of understanding and commitment to build “good” customer relationship.

Made us wait outside while they acknowledged us and continues to make us wait as if it was amusing to them . Had to walk to the other post office like 10 minutes away . What a waste of time

The employees are clowns and this post office is their circus. Expect them to short change you and count your change in front of them. Update: Unfortunately, they are still horrendous.

This place is a joke, staff are rude and unwelcoming. Better off going to into town if you need post offices services as these guys lost the plot a long time ago.

Surprised at the bad reviews. I found them OK. Very helpful on delivery charges & Insurance. The only questionable thing is why do they not open till 11am ?

Very odd opening times,why bother to open in the weekend if it’s only for 2 hours. Clearly lm not the only one with a issue with this post office.

Unhelpful I would avoid this place, didn't have a clue on any of the prices even had to purchase tape for a tiny little piece I required.
