We were able to have 1:1 time with Bri & able to give her her birthday presents. I love this park, her and I went through the splash pad to cool off very first thing upon entering! Then we got to feed ducks, open presents, she had so many things to play on and to choose from. You can fish here too. The only interruption we honestly had was when we were sitting opening presents, the police/ Marshall's of all the people there were the only nosy ones and was a interruption because the two males just kept talking right in the middle of us opening stuff up and she's shy so she is real quiet and shuts down easily, they could tell but yet the still trying to chat it up and tried bribing her with a sticker‍♀️ but besides them being extra nosey when it was definitely not needed or wanted everything else and the park itself I absolutely love.

It's an OK park. Considering how little green there is in the LV area, every patch of green here feels like an oasis. Fairly large size, small lake, benches and picnic areas, nothing too fancy here. Lots of homeless, but that's not different from anywhere else in Vegas. Overall, it's pretty dirty, but that, again, is not very different from the rest of the LV area as well. There is a fairly large geese population here and they look dirty and unhealthy, which is also what the rest of Vegas looks like. This place is par for the city it lives in. One thing of note is that some of the geese looked really odd as if they were mutants after a nuclear accident. They are so weird it's kind of unsettling. I lost my whole camera roll or I would have posted them here. Go see for yourself!

This is a very huge park. Love that they have 2 ponds you can walk around, they're pretty big sized ponds. They also have a basketball court and I believe 2 sets of playgrounds. (We didn't go towards that area due to the cautious tape from COVID 19) They also have this humongous field you can literally do anything.. (picnics, lay under a tree, kickball, soccer, anything you name.) You are able to fish, but you must have a fishing license if you're over the age of 12. If you love bird watching this is a perfect place for that. The ONLY downside is that there is literally duck s**t EVERYWHERE by the ponds. YOU HAVE TO BE AWARE OF WHETE YOU ARE WALKING....or else you WILL step in it..

I love the variety of this park! It has everything one could want in a park, including a lake, expansive picnic areas, a rose garden, baseball fields, giant play area, history of Lorenzi and the land, and walking paths. The last time I came here they even had a Japanese Festival in the Cultural Pavilion area; fun! The surrounding area makes this park not located in the nicest of areas, but the park itself is great and expansive. The lake and the rose garden are my favorite draws of this park as they are both peaceful and provide a nice ambience for relaxing while getting your walk on. Plus, my dog likes the variety of scents and enjoys this walking path.

Kids and I love this park!!!! For the past year and a half I've started my own family tradition bbq with them and inviting a few associates and loved ones. It's always a beautiful vibe. And the best part is knowing someone will be blessed with these leftovers ♥️
Playground
Two playgrounds close to restrooms. One for toddlers and another for older children
Restrooms
BE CAREFUL Some addicts don't like to leave restroom
Dog-friendliness
Nice walk way/path for dogs but they'll need dog shoes if your that kinda person
Picnic area
Beautiful just be careful Birds and ducks will set trip hahahaha great place honestly

Shame on Parks Dept for letting this beautiful park go. This visit was my first time back in 3 years, so much bird droppings and broken glass every where. Homeless drunks and addicts playing in the sprinklers was very uncomfortable around small children playing. There were also some shady individuals around with their hands in their pants as though they were carrying firearms. The playground area needs repair and clean up. I was sadly disappointed because I feel Lorenzi Park is one of the jewels in the Vegas community. The only positives were watching the birds and serenity of the pond.

Bring the kids get ready for a lot of walking this park is big and they have a water area with ducks reminds me of a park back home where we would feed the ducks. It's nice to be in another state and feel a small sense of home. Some parts of the park are a bit run down Las Vegas has so many parks and this is an older one I just wish they did more upkeep and in some areas there is a strong odor aside from those negatives this park is Huge and has some much history. Multiple playground’s basketball hoops during summer they have water area to keep the kids cool.

PLEASE ticket people for letting their dogs run off-leash, they're killing baby animals and it's absolutely devastating. The animals need more bushes to hide in and that dome pavilion and the tall grass around the bridge makes visibility a problem for them. The animals hurt themselves on the rocks and fall on the poorly constructed edges of the pond. They slip and slide on the sidewalk. This place was not built with the animals that live there in mind at all, just the entertainment of awful people with terrible dogs and children.

  • Belen Heredia

Beautiful scenery well planned out park different breeds of birds, ducks and geese or as my guy likes to call them "dinosaur chickens" lol so relaxing spacious clean great place for BBQ parties picnics dates great place to bird watch walk around look at the huge pond with the island in the middle. The only bad thing is the upstairs log playground is so old and the floor is coming apart. You can tell homeless sleep there. Looks and smells dirty. Good thing that area is secluded and away from the main park.

  • DJulia Willock

One of the best parks to go and enjoy. My mom and I had a wonderful time being over there today.
Playground
They have more than 1 playground which is great for kids to play.
Restrooms
Need to make sure no males go into the women bathrooms and toilet paper is provided for all plus need security during the day over there.
Dog-friendliness
More people need to pick up after their animals.
Picnic area
The picnic areas are great to have for any event.

  • Duprie Grady

The park was nice relatively clean. My favorite part is the pawn with all the ducks and geese. My kids love it! My biggest issue about the park was the amount of homeless people sleeping there. They didn't cause us any problems but at the same time. I didn't feel comfortable letting my kids stray more than 10 to 20 ft away from me
Playground
Playground was safe no complaints
Restrooms
The restrooms worked but there were no amenities

  • Dionee Jackson

I love twin lakes and the festival plaza visit the park soon. Today I visited the Sammy Davis Jr. Festival area of the park for the 31st annual Disability Awareness fair with the wife and kids it was a great day. I was able to spread awareness about the Professional Institute of Technology and how free traing is availible to many and for those with a disability can go to school with no out of pocket expense.

  • Ms Luv Bug

From the first time I went I loved it. Love the lake and the people are friendly. I love the basketball courts can be seen from one of the playground areas. I haven't walked around the entire park however I know that everyone that goes there always says it's a nice family oriented park. Only downside this time around is that it was dirty which caught me off guard however I'm thinking maybe short staffed.

  • Entering Nature (David is Fed Up)

Beautiful park with lots of birds and a huge pond. I sat on a bench in the morning and wrote in my journal while chilling to some music. I honestly enjoyed it very much. Playground was updated, and it seem people enjoy fishing there too. Unfortunately there was one bird who had fishing line and two small weights around his or her feet. I hope someone can get it off, I tried my best to do so.

  • Nicole Fleming

I grew up going to Lorenzi Park but had not been there in a long time. It has been remodeled and a lot of the features have been upgraded since then. At our recent picnic, we had a couple of the homeless people try to take part of our get-together. We asked the two people to leave and did not have any other unexpected interactions. Overall, Lorenzi Park is still a great place to hang out.

  • Badan Body

Beautiful park park, but sadly filled with too much trash! Can't blame the park for that whichbis why I gave it 5 stars. I blame the ignorant parkours that are okay with throwing their trash in this beautiful Pond amongst all the gorgeous ducks as if it were nothing. I spent 15 minutes of my morning here unwrapping a plastic bag from around a duck's neck.

  • Charlie The Clown

I love this park, it is in North Las Vegas and has a wonderful atmosphere. If you get there and managed to get one of the gazebo’s that are close to the lake, you got lucky. You might have to reserve them I don’t know. I recently did an event there for a birthday party. It was phenomenal. I am a professional clown. Google Charlie The Clown.

  • Rok Ramiquires

Ever since childhood, I always came here to feed the ducks. Much like everyone else. We found a different duck species with a red head and black and white feathers. It was much larger then the others. Reminded me of a vulture! I just want everyone to know to feed ducks apples or grain instead of bread. Bread is very harmful to them!

  • Lawrence Robinson

Great park the new changes are awesome it's an untapped gem in Vegas there's baseball fields basketball courts tennis courts a splash park for kids I think that's the name for it a pond for fishing and not to mention the Sammy Davis pavilion check out there website or better yet go and visit the park it's wonderful

  • M R

Cool park. It's got a small lake in it. No swimming allowed. Fishing is allowed with a fishing license. There's a lot of ducks and geese. Plenty of grass areas to play and plenty of trees as well. Bbq areas are standard. There is a water pad playground area to play in but it is currently closed for fixing.

  • Matthew Kluk

Had a great time with the family. We didn't catch any large fish, but a lousy day fishing is better than the best day at work. I've been going to Lorenzi park for over 20 years, and it's a lot cleaner than it used to be. We will go back and fish when we want a quick fishing trip to de-stress.

  • Russell Cruz

Filthy facilities, homeless people every were ..... also smoking crack cocaine from glass pipe!! Wouldn't recommend this Park to public!!
Restrooms
Filthy facilities, no toilet paper, no way to wash your hands!!
Picnic area
Needles around picnic tables

  • James Brown

Senior Softball is played at two fields. I would like the grass to be weed free and the infield area be tended to.
Playground
Small area near softball.
Restrooms
Locked after park is closed. Due to homeless people. But they are usually clean.

  • Fabian

If you have kids and will like to bring them to the playground you have to be here before it gets dark because they dont turn the lights on for them everything else have light except the playground for the kids, the picture where taken at 6:30 pm

  • Jordan Shelly

Large Park with lots of trees, ponds and amenities for all. Not a dog park but large enough to where you can let your furry friend roam freely when not crowded. Restrooms are available throughout the park. Picnic tables and BBQ pits throughout.

  • Diana Kellum

There are SO MANY kinds of ducks and geese! I buy cheap dry cat food for the ducks and geese. It's better for them than bread. Catfood has protein which is beneficial, but bread is an empty "filler", with no nutrients. It's a great place

  • DeM Mc

Nice, big park. Plenty of lounging room where you are not on top of other people. Lakes, gazebos, basketball courts and even a roller hockey area. VERY big geese all over, so if birds aren't your thing this may not be your park.

  • Shalene Kearney

Pretty in areas (pretty enough for a wedding), but quite a few homeless, and the bathrooms were quite dirty. Would be good to have closer vehicle access to picnic areas, so heavy items like coolers could be more easily moved.

  • josh vail

Park is being cleaned up starting to be nice again everything from basketball tennis and baseball fields nice size fishing pond catfish only from what I know .has multiple picnic areas and even a water spot to cool down More

  • c woods

Very nice park with a lot of amenities. Didn't use the bathrooms. Saw some homeless at the time visited. Park needs a good cleanup otherwise could be fabulous. Shame if the parks dept let's this one continue to falter.

  • Adam Dowd

I came to this park for a little while between jobs. It is well developed with play places for children and a large basketball court. The trees are mature offering shade plus there is a lot of grass to run around in.

  • Equality “EQ6” Tinn

Nice spacious park with a large lake. Fishing is allowed with a permit. Lots of big friendly ducks. So watch your step for blobs of scattered bird poo. Shaded picnic areas. Decent size parking lot.

  • Andre Wayne Vaughn Sr.

Nice but there were a lot homeless people there, I had no problem just a heads up,I think it's great for kids to run and play.
Picnic area
Very good picnic area and also very dog friendly.

  • Rachelle Barry

A very cute park with multiple pavilions and shaded seating areas. Bathrooms could use better lighting. Artificial spring and creek is calm and soothing (also has a rabbit?!?)

Dog-friendliness
Can really get a run in

  • Doug G.

This place is a hidden gem. Great place to take the family for an outing. There are a lot of places to walk, there is fishing, and ducks that will eat out of your hands.

  • Jenn Skotnicki

Very nice park except for all the trash. I wish people would pick up after themselves. The pond was nice and the walkways are nice. Loved the all the geese and ducks

  • E Yen

The walking path was nice but the splash pad needs updating. There isn't any coverage at the splash pad. The play area has graffitti but the kids liked the slides.

  • Donna Hatfield

My favorite place to walk and take pictures peaceful and beautiful, the rose garden is stunning and the lake with the ducks and geese and fish are awesome MUST SEE

This park is like no other. It has an enormous amount of things you can do, play basketball, enjoy looking at ducks, and even a small water park. More

  • Amanda Rivera

Its a really nice public park but the park isnt maintained well by the City. Especially the picnic areas. Dirty with food and bird poop everywhere.

  • Sage Hylton-Lemons-Link

A most fantastic park! If you need something free to do to kill time or just be outside while in Vegas, this is a great spot for you and family!

  • Natalie Ramirez

Kids love coming here to the lake and seeing the duck and geese. Wish the area was a bit cleaner and less homeless just all around.

  • Ashlee Marsh

Dirty park, police harassing the many homeless who are camped on the park to avoid the heat. But the kids did like the animals

  • Marcos Lopez

Only one thing looks not right there for Nevada's safety sake. People without a right occupation should have their own park.

  • Anahi Asc
