Thank you for reading the Honest Reviews4u!!! This restaurant is pretty hidden from view. The restaurant is clean inside and out with plenty of tables to eat on. During my visit I had a menudo which come with a toasted bread. The menudo was very good plenty of meat in the soup and the bread was nicely butter toasted and also tasted good. I also had a quesadilla and had plenty of melted yellow cheese. The food was great especially on a cold morning. However the customer service was non existing the chaser service was horrible was not listening no my order or the order of others and lost of missed communicate between the cashier and kitchen and causing more confusion. Which delayed my food order as well as others. It will be a while before I give this place another try for this reason I gave it 3 stars.

I got a call from Armandos Restaurant. The lady that called me was Jennifer. They wanted to help them pick up overflow trash from their trash dumpsters. I guess their regular trash service didn't show up. She explains the job and we settle on a price. Keep in mind she called me on a Saturday at 1pm. I told her I could move my schedule around and I could be there by 3pm. I get there at 3pm and ask to speak to Jennifer. She's not there and they told me they have made other arrangements. I called Jennifer and she said the same thing. I asked why she didn't call me and explain. She didn't have a care in the world that I went above and beyond to help them out. It's unfortunate that a business like this treats others this way. I hope they don't treat their employees this way.

Is it Armondos? I thought it was Ormondo's. That surely makes a difference to the Owner. They are at 59th and McDowell in the N/E section. The place is clean and the the food was Great. I went in st a slow time, about 3pm. I was all alone, no one else in the place. I ordered 2 tacos and a side of beans. Great food and service. Had many choices, sauces,Preparaton etc. . It seems like a family operation. You can bet at a busier time they need more help. But I have no doubt that the shredded beef taco and the whole Menu will be good. I don't know these people or get free food. I'm an old man customer

The Carne asada tasted old last time I went, but usually, food is amazing from here! Ladies room sink has a big hole in it on the side thats just tapped over to keep it in use...also theres still visible fire damage on the front lobby counter....but it's clean and good so you wont be disappointed in the food. Just don't let the area scare you away. Beware the parking lot is deteriorating drive toward the rear of the plaza where they are located very cautiously if entering from 59th Ave. You'd be better off entering from McDowell.

This place is a rip off. The price on the menu is different than the actual cost of the food. When we questioned the higher price the cashier told us it was tax. When we got the receipt we saw that the price was higher. We questioned the cashier again but only got a dumbfounded look. I asked to speak to a manager, who told us that prices had recently gone up. She was unwilling to honor the menu price or compensate us in any way. The food was awful. No flavor at all and I'm not sure but I think there was a hair, or cloth fiber mixed into my shredded beef!

Drive thru service could be better. Food needs a little.work as well, customer service need to be trained better. Cashiers do gossip alot and critic clients. I witnessed 3 of them criticizing a man that came to order some food. I ordered a tampiquena with a cheese enchilada and a Chile relleno. I was expecting spicier food for being a enchilada bathed in a red sweet salsa and Chile relleno was sweet. Overall I gave them a 3 star review

Food is not bad, actually is pretty good. Now the customer service... Not only did I have to repeat my self 3 times when I first ordered, but twice again when I pulled up to the window. I still had the decency to say thank you after receiving my order, 30 minutes later and not even get an answer back. By the way my order was still wrong. Unfortunately I don't live close to there to go back and complain. You definitely need better staff!! The girl taking orders is not only obviously unatentive but so rude!!!

Always a great stop for a quick lunch. My chicken enchilada was really good. My beef burrito was lacking. It was quite dry so I added beans and lots of salsa. My sister got the chicken enchilada and taco and she said her enchilada had a ton of peppers and onions and not as much chicken? Not sure how our enchilada came out different. Her tacos were sub par. She wasn't impressed but overall the food when I come is pretty good for fast. I recommend it for some fast Mexican.

The only reason for 4 stars on the atmosphere is because it was 9 a.m., so there's that, lol. The food has been on point every time I come here. I Today, I tore up a shrimp burrito. The sauce is a sweet crema. If you use the red sauce, it balances it out pretty well. Their adobada is similar to the pastor flavoring, *I did say similar*

This used to be a halfway decent Mexican food place. Quality has slipped since covid. They used to have a nice salsa bar but never put it back after covid. Ordered the chili verde which used to be pretty good but was disappointed this visit. Price was raised but quality went down. Chili verde had so much fat in it i had to start picking it out. Gross. I won't be back

Always! Always never deliver enought salsa. NEVER, 3 extra tiny tea spoon size cups for 2 full grown men eating super machos is not good. Every delivery is the same even with notes for staff. Why be so stingy? Salsa is suppossed to be what makes this a MEXICAN RESTAURANT!!! Everything else here is fine but that. Nunca suficiente salsa en entregas a casa, que mal!

Food is great been eating here for years but the Drive thru older lady is one of the rudest persons I"ve ever encountered! She ruined this place for me and my family made us wait for over 20 mins and when we got to da window our food had been sitting now its soggy plus she gave us attitude when asking for Salsa she should just quit if she dont like doing her Job!

Popular place for food. Good efficient service. Single dirty restrooms usually with long waiting. No lock or privacy. There's a bar/ dance club attached. Usually cops and arrests, especially on the weekend nights. Go here only to get a quick bite for take out or order online for delivery. Dining is fairly kept up. There's a drive thru as well. #SorryNotSorry

Tried this place many times through the years.. and never seems to get better or change .. meat is lacking flavor .. mainly ordered burritos from here but they always seem dry, and flavorless.. even when your drunk this food is disappointing . I prefer Federicos on 59th ave south of Glendale Ave.. never disappoint ..always great in my opinion

I had ordered two carne asada tacos (w/beans and rice), the wait wasn't too bad. However, when the food arrived it was cold. The meat had no flavor, and the beans and rice also had no flavor. The food was overall bland, the guacamole for the tacos was the only thing that added flavor. It was an okay experience, not some place I'd like to come back to.

I don’t know where to start, oh yeah. Their carne asada chimichanga is freaking amazing. First time every trying a chimichanga and all I have to say I wasn’t disappointed at all. Their carne asada fries were pretty good too. You don’t be disappointed in this little gem.

Absolutely disgusting establishment with a drive thru area that smelled of urine so strongly it caused nausea. The machaca tasted off as though the meat had gone bad, no flavor to the eggs and hardly any salsa given in the smallest containers that looked to be toddler toys. Not sure how anybody gives this place more than 1 star, RUN AWAY!!!!

I ordered two items: A Carne Asada burrito , and Carne Asada fries. The order was placed at approximately 2:35 am. It took until 4:50 am to be delivered via UBER Eats ( 2.4 miles from Los Armando's to my apartment ) TWO HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES. Never , NEVER again from Los Armando's. The two items , plus the fees came to over $27......

Waited in there drive through forever, still got to the window and my burrito and rice still wasn't ready!! I left told the girl DON'T make it, I was going to be late to work!! The day before paid for half pint of rice got home it was freaking beans!! Beans who eats that much beans, not me, my order was small too!!

Nice staff, picked up an online order, they let me go thru drive thru... theres no parking available in the evenings on weekends because apparently the other half of this location doubles as a night club.girls working were nice! I came thru multiple times that night doing deliveries, fast and friendly!

This place is very clean, but the restrooms are covered in graffiti. Service was pleasant and fast. The food overall was not very impressive. My fish torta had more batter than meat. The beef burrito was over seasoned with black pepper. Rice and beans were good. We won't likely eat here again.

The people working there really nice but the place was empty, food no taste and had tummy issues from the food. Really expensive for 3 rolled tacos=$9. Dumb!

Bought a Machaca burrito on the drive thru and when I got to the window to pay it was full of flies and the cashier did not try to scare them out and she still left the window open to welcome more flies inside the restaurant hopefully I don’t get sick with this burrito

To be honest you really cant go wrong with these places. You will find all sorts of these open at all hours taco and burrito places everywhere. You will quickly miss any and all of them if you ever have to live in an area where they no longer have places like these.

Food is great and cheaper than a lot of other places. Love the breakfast burritos!!

This place does not have many options. I asked for a simple chicken quesadilla and they could not do it. They stated that all their chicken is mixed with tomatoes and onions. If you are allergic to something, do not go here! They cannot serve a simple request.

Second time and the food is delicious. I really recommend it.

Honestly this place is ridiculous, their prices are expensive. They had to charge me extra for Mayonnaise! The bathrooms were disgusting. I do not recommend this place whatsoever, you’re better off going to a classy restaurant if they keep up these prices.

I only go there for their breakfast burrito's. Best price and very delicious.

Their carne asada is amazing!! I drive from Glendale to here just because of their robust carne asada. It is actually cooked on a grill & has that delicious "grilled" flavor. This restaurant is also a bar/nightclub & can get pretty packed on the weekends.

Came here on a late night excursion for some dance and quick food. I got food but didn't do much dancing... Let's just say I got there at the late point where everyone has had a few drinks in them and slow dancing music was the only thing on.

Best carne asada burritos always tender I drive 20 miles every single day just to eat here because i cant stand the low quality and flavor of other places. BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN PHOENIX DONT LISTEN TO THE HATERS the only thing i can complain

Been here a few times already. Have had shrimp cocktail, carne asada tacos to and tacos cabeza everytime everything was on point not shy with anything and great costumer service and food

I've been coming here for years. I don't come that much anymore, because I live downtown. I love the food. Today I dined in with my wife, we were pretty much grossed out by the amount of flies in the dining room. Very disappointed …

The food was good but the service and staff was absolutely terrible. Plus there was a maybe 5 year old just running around the restaurant and niether the parents or staff made him stop. Very unpleasant experience and doubt I'll go back.

Ordered through Postmates for delivery. Never had it before. Had taco/enchilada combo. Chicken taco was flavorful. Overall, it was really good. I like their rice and beans too. Salsa a little watery, but tasty. Better than Filibertos

Wife's bacon, eggs and cheese plate with potatoes on the side was very good. My breakfast sausage, potato and onion burrito was excellent. Horchata might have been too Cinnamony for some but I enjoyed it.

Love coming here for the breakfast burritos and recently tried the chile relleno burrito, and I must say it was pretty delicious, but I will ask for no lettuce next time. Highly recommend

24 hour tacos is always good, I also t think they have live music weekends. It's traditional Mexican music there's alcohol and just an overall ok place to hang if that's what you like.

The girls here as waitress are rude as hell they treat you as if you weren't going to tip because you are a women. They only attend women with men better. STAY AWAY FROM HERE.

It was okay there beans were delicious but the rice was good but confusing it doesn't taste like Mexican rice. All I could taste was garlic. The rolled tacos tasted frozen

Incredible Mexican food! Live dance party mariachi music on Thursdays next door. Bring a healthy appetite and your happy ,smiling attitude and you're good to go!

We flew to Arizona in 2001 or 2002 to visit phoenix and someone suggested this place. My wife and I still talk about how good the food was. Excellent service!

We showed up late on a Friday night. Tacos were delicious but took a super long time to make. Banda next door had me wanting to get back on the dance floor.

Hit or miss, I like their carne asada fries and their machaca burrito. But their chicken is a little gamey and their shrimp is a little rubbery.
