I have dogs, and on my previous couch I placed a couch cover over it so I could easily wash it in the laundry and keep the couch dander-free. I thought that the Lovesac would just be a more stylish version with the same functionality of my couch cover. However, these removeable covers are SO much work to take on and off. They fit very tightly which looks nice at least, but not so nice that it is worth the price difference. And each individual piece has its own cover. It isn't worth the amount of time and effort it would take to be washing them regularly, therefore I will be covering up my Lovesac with a normal removeable couch cover on top. Additionally, the 20 boxes that were shipped to my house came with 0 instructions. Not even the picture type without words. So, the assembly was not easy. I got it 90% assembled before realizing I had attached the seats to each other in the wrong orientation and had to start over. One of the seats did not easily fit into the wooden peg hole; it was just a stressful and exhausting experience overall. When I finally had the couch assembled, I had an entire 15pax van worth of cardboard boxes to get rid of. I wish I were exaggerating. I thought the Lovesac would be an environmentally friendly option but the carbon footprint alone makes we want to dissuade anyone from buying a Lovesac sectional.

The setting up of the appointment was easy and staff were friendly over the phone. The text reminder was also helpful. Day of The appointment I arrived on time and waited outside for at least 5 mins mind you nobody was in the store and staff was on the phone. I even texted to let them know of my arrival. The showroom was nice and the guy was some what helpful. I applied for their credit at their kiosk and when checking out he says the system is down and can’t enter your card number. After being annoyed because he could have told me this before hand. He says he would email me the quote and I could stop by or call to complete the purchase. Long story short, never got an email I had to call and ask for it. When they finally emailed me the quote it was wrong. Was quoted different amount at the store then when I purchased. I believe I had to do most of the work to get the sale you would think for 5k purchase they would be better at customer service. I was going to choose a different brand of sofa but my spouse was the adamant one. The store manager April was very helpful but that was the only positive side to my experience of buying from the Valley Fair store. Never again, I would rather do online maybe they have better customer service.

Ron took his time to fully inform me about all the different LoveSac models, covers, accessories etc. I had no idea there was an option for custom covers, cup holder add-ons etc. I have admired and wanted a love sac since my early teens (for about 18 years now!), but my parents wouldn’t buy me one when I was younger, as the price point was high, and they were worried I would grow tired of it, that it wouldn’t last long, or that it was a “gimmick .” He is shored me that while the price point is steep, the durability of the product makes the purchase worthwhile. I had no idea that at the earliest, new fill would not be needed until 10 years after purchase! He informed me about the Labor Day flash sale, and after speaking with him so extensively about the products durability, ease of cleaning, & ability to refill it at a low price point, I finally had the confidence to take the plunge and buy my first LoveSac! I went for the “Big One” because I figured, “ i’ve admired this for so long, so I might as well quite literally, ‘go big or go home!’” I genuinely can’t say enough positive things about Ron - He went above and beyond in his customer service, taking the time to get to know me, my needs, and ultimately assuaged all my fears!

08/24 - My original review was for one star and the comments are below. After expressing my unhappiness to the salesperson, she immediately worked the issues and got everything straightened out, thus my change in rating. I am leaving my original comments below. *** I spent hours at the showroom, on the chat line, and on the phone with four different people on this order. I explained carefully to each person that we would not be moved in to our new location until a specific date so it could not ship until then. Each person assured me that the order would take 6 to 8 weeks to ship so it was safe to place the order. I just got a notice that after only a short period of time, they have shipped my order - well before the time they said it would ship and well before our move to that location. Even after calling the main line and explaining the situation, they said they could do nothing, which is understandable since it had been delivered to FedEx already, but then after explaining the situation to them, they still shipped the second part of the shipment even knowing they made a mistake. This is terrible customer service and I am sorry that we purchased from this company.

Came in last week and met Kylie. She walked us through ALL the options, and really showed us what was possible. (She even unstuffed and restuffed a pillow sac for us just so we could see how it became a mattress.) We ended up doing a very custom piece that just fits the needs of our small one bedroom. As the pieces arrived we realized that we wanted to make some modifications which involved returns and exchanges. Calling the online customer service line was fruitless as they couldn’t find me or my order in the system. When I called the store back I got Kylie again and she not only easily made the appropriate adjustments to the order over the phone, sent in requests for return shipping labels, but also applied a one-day sale of 30% off retroactively to our entire order made the week before. The experience was so positive that I can fully recommend her services at this location. The furniture has started to arrive (it comes in pieces) and it’s extremely comfortable, and solid. We know that if we ever want to modify in the future to fit a different space we’ll definitely be returning.

My husband and I stopped by to look at their collection to consider extra seats for our living room. We already have a couch, so we were thinking that a smaller chair or lovesac would be nice for our space. We were impressed by the couch technology that allows the sectional pieces to easily be rearranged at home depending on our needs. Since the pieces are individual sections, they pack up nicely and will be super convenient for moving whenever we leave our apartment! My favorite part is that we can use the pieces as Ottomans, couch seats, or all together they make a bed for our spare room! I was convinced before this that we would need a bed or pullout couch in the spare room as well as separate furniture for our living room. We had no idea that we could find furniture that is so versatile! Additionally, the assistant manager was very knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to approach. The couches are pretty expensive and worth it to us considering the quality, comfort, and versatility. (Updates to come once our purchase is delivered to us and we get a chance to try it out at home!)

I ordered a pillowsac on 5/30. The staff in store told me I would receive it in 2-4 weeks. The email confirmation said the same. Still did not receive any update on 6/27, so I emailed customer support. Got an email back with a one line reply: "Let me send a ticket to my fufillement team to ask when this will be shipping and I will update you once I hear back." (...you know this means nothing to me, I don't care you are sending tickets amongst yourselves. Sounds like handing off responsibility more than customer support). 6/30- got an email that my order is being processed. What? I already got one a month ago. Why is it being reprocessed? Later that same day- finally item shipped. Today is 7/4. It is still on its way... Don't know what happened to my order. Why is it taking so long. If you need more time to make it fine. But I am very upset about the customer support. There was no apology and no explanation. I paid a lot of money for this pillowsac...

This was my first time my friend Alex and I were making making a purchase with Lovesac and Ali was not only incredibly helpful, but also very patient with our questions. Ali guided us every step of the way of what would be best for us. From insights of what style would fit best for our comfort to laying out through the toy blocks of what would design would be best within the home. I have never purchased a couch before, let alone two, but Ali made the experience very easy through his detailed explanation and guidance. There was never a moment that we were lost nor led astray. Any questions or worries that we had, Ali answered them all and had us leaving as happy customers who are incredibly excited to receive our purchases. I'm very glad that we were able to have such a wonderful and memorable experience with Ali before he finished his last few days at Lovesac.

I had a great time picking out my Sactionals at the Valley Fair store! Ali was extremely pleasant and helpful and even though I had done my research before going in (I watched every video on the web site!) he was able to show me even more fun stuff that Sactionals can do. Ali also gave great advice when it came to picking out the cushion loft. I had thought I would end up choosing the most expensive (that always happens), but after having me sit on examples of each, the basic was the best for me! Whoever took a chance on hiring Kylie as the Assistantat Manager at Valley Fair Lovesac was very smart. I normally hate all of my interactions with salespeople but she was amazing through the entire process. Do yourself a favor and if you're even slightly interested in considering Lovesac, get with her and ideally go to see her in person. She is extremely knowledgeable about all things Lovesac related and how everything works, she'll walk you through everything to get you exactly what you need and want. Ali Bin Nadeem was very helpful. Every questioned I asked, he knew so much and shared his knowledge with me. He was very considerate about how much I wanted to spend and gave me options of what I was able to afford. He told me the benefits of buying the Super Sac in stores instead of online and I got a really good discount. I was very happy with the overall experience and becoming part of the LoveSac Family! Also, everytime I call with questions regarding the order or the product itself, he always answers and gives me information i need to know. He is very helpful.

Literally, the best quality sectional couch you can buy. That said, they are not at all in expensive. The fabric covers come off, can be washed or even changed to another set. there are many ways you can reconfigure your sectional couch. The store carries a wide selection of accessories that work with a LoveSac couch. Great in-store service, I was even able to hire someone to put my 5 piece together. not hard at all to assemble but five pieces is a lot and they were able to get it done quickly and removed all of the packaging with them when they left.

Honestly I've been searching around everywhere for a nice comfortable bean bag for my friends and myself. Many of my colleagues told me to check out LoveSac so I did. I was a little skeptical at first searching through online, But I really want to give a big shout out to Kylie being absolutely awesome helping me virtually. All of my questions were answered, they took their time with me, I felt secure with my purchase. I'm looking forward getting my LoveSac mailed to me. Always wanted a Lovesac when I found about it thru friends and family. Found a store in Westfield mall Valleyfair in Santa Clara and April was very helpful. She provided the best service in regards of suggestions and customer service. She even went out of her way to make sure I got all the information I needed before purchasing. I was going to order online, but I just had to purchase thru April. She made the transaction simple and easy. Would def recommend others to have April help with any Lovesac products and purchases.

Excellent sales team. Very helpful and patient. Walked us through what we needed for our rooms and left us happy and confident. This is not cheap furniture but it passed all my checks and we knew roughly what bill we would be facing before going in, but regardless there was zero pressure on us.... we were an easy sale but the sales folks were so relaxed, cheerful and helpful it felt more like a partnership. plus my very large rear end didn't elicit even a hint of weakness in the furniture. First time ever for that!

I recently went to the Valley Fair Mall Lovesac to investigate (and eventually purchase) a sactional. The staff there is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to talk to about Lovesac's unique product line. I highly recommend any one looking into a new piece of furniture to consider Lovesac's futuristic furniture design, especially if you are into re-configuring your furniture for a smaller space (look it's a couch, look again, it's two chairs, wait, now it's a playpen!) the versatility is awesome!

We got there close to opening time. No one was in the front. Took about 5 minutes for someone to come out from back. Once that happened he was very nice and showed us all combos. Not settling for “I saw it on YouTube” he wanted to show us the demo as he said hands on is much better. He started helping two of us as no one else was there to assist customers. In the end, I got a 5x7 configuration. Hoping it works. They are a bit pricey and the extra covers can be outrageously expensive.

Staff were extremely helpful in planning out our LoveSac couch layout and trying out the different materials and configurations. Staff also walked us through the entire ordering process, and items arrived in good condition (although some items took longer than others). Overall, would definitely recommend at least visiting and trying out the modular couch designs; it's really great for us since it gives us more options when rearranging our apartment.

Got a great deal on a Supersac I couldn’t refuse! The store manager there was very professional and knowledgeable about all of the lovesac products. She helped me decide on a SquattoMan and a Lovesac that would best fit my living room decor and comfort level, even though I did not bring in the measurements of my living room. The Customer service was outstanding, I didn’t break the bank, and I made an investment I’ll be happy about for a life time.

Shopping for a couch and checked the store hours online before driving down here in the middle of a pandemic. I've worked in small retail and understand how much it sucks to have someone show up at closing, but the site and google both showed open until 9pm and she closed the doors on us at 5:34pm as we were approaching the store. Still want to try out the couch, so I may update this review later, but wasn't thrilled about my initial experience.

The agents in this store are very helpful and answers questions thoroughly. I was able to make my purchase with ease. Lovesac seems like a good product especially if you like washable covers. Looking forward for my delivery. I am taking away 1 star just because the delivery is drop off at the door (via Fedex). We live in a two story house and this purchase is for room on 2nd floor, carrying the couch boxes one floor above seems cumbersome.

My husband and I have been debating purchasing a sofa for our family room. On a whim we stopped by the Valley Fair store. We had the pleasure of meeting April who took the time to understand what we needed and was incredibly helpful as we talked through all the different options. Very nice store, we went during covid. We went in Knowing we were going to make a big purchase. It was very slow when we came in. We noticed that the sales guy there wasn't totally interested in us until I went up to the desk to let him know we were going to be buying a sactional. But after that it was wonderful, and we had his undivided attention. We have been wanting one of these for a very long time and are very excited to enjoy it.

Came in to the store just to sit down for a sec to rest my feet. Kristian at this location was super knowledgeable, and wasn’t pushy at all. We weren’t even in the market for a new couch and the couches sold themselves. With the help of Kristian, we were able to make the right decision on which layout to go with and we can’t wait for these products to come in. 5/5 stars for good folks at the Valley Fair Lovesac store!

Ron was very personable, knowledgeable, and fair in assisting us to expand our seating group. He gets 5 stars but we marked down our rating due to Company changes. There was a SKU change on our fabric so obtaining a match will be very difficult.. we are holding our breath to see how close we come. We do believe Ron found the best path for a match but we were disappointed that the Company had made a change like this.

Jasmine was a VERY good sales rep. Not pushy and explained/showed what Lovesac is in great detail as she went around the store to make sure everything looks great. I never considered a lovesac and only went in out of boredom, but I left with a very good impression of the brand thanks to her. I will definitely get the giant pillow chair with the rocker once I buy a big home :)

Buying anything during COVID is a challenge. I dare say I was the easiest sale of the week. Walked in (on a weekday to avoid lines for social distancing) and was helped right away. Knew what I wanted so entire transaction took less than 15 minutes. I was delighted to receive an email saying my product shipped THREE weeks ahead of schedule. Awesome experience all around.

I had to contact customer service in order to figure out what was going on with my order and Kylie was fantastic! Very fast at responding and made certain that my order arrived as intended, even providing alternative options if needed. She was very kind and helpful. The staff practiced Covid protocols and began the consultation outside the store with brochures and blocks and material samples. No substitute for experiencing the product I could tell immediately the difference between firmness etc. Lived it when sales person jumped on the piece to show the framing durability ... kindness to Nurses and financing sealed the deal!

Ali was phenomenal! Knowledgeable, articulate, polite, patient, and even tried to UNDER sell us! He showed us from step one how the different set ups could work, and then when we thought we had come to a conclusion he showed us how we could do something similar for less seats and less money!
