Save your time and money and go elsewhere. I bought a car from here 7 months ago. Within 15 minutes of even leaving the dealership the engine light came on. Problem with the egr valve, they did take car back to repair but not sure they actually repaired rather than just removed the bulb to the engine light. Then 3 weeks ago I started having major problems with the car, big surprise they dodgied it up just enough for warranty to expire. Clutch blown, radiator blown, main diesel line to pump is split, drive belts are glazed and noisy, oil evident on turbo. Plus a hell of a lot of smaller problems. Basically I'm already in for a huge mechanic bill, more than 1/2 the value of the car. My mechanic assures me that even 7 months ago, 90% of the problems would have shown up with a safety check. Both Phil the owner and Brad the salesman were more than happy to lie straight to my face when they told me the car had no problems at all and I was getting a very good car. Salesman even had the nerve to ask me to leave a 5 star review I would give 0 stars if it were an option

Went for 1st car for one of our kids. It's an older dealership that's been around for decades and the owner seemed so well versed on the second hand industry that I felt it necessary to notice nuances in responses to questions. The owner advised us of what requirements equate to a warranty, also advised that if we fix any concerns as soon as they occur as well as servicing that all his cars will work. He offered to organise registration. After a few questions he offered to have it serviced and if anything was wrong he'd fix it for a small fee which we paid. We didn't knock down any prices. The owner really seems to like politeness, he mentioned that he appreciated niceness and I felt he'd had some hard customers, so being polite and respectful I believe helps. He's going to service and manage any concerns over next couple of days, we suggested Monday so if a handle or belt or so forth needs to be obtained he can do that and he seemed willing. If all works out, I'd be happy to go back. Let you know how it turns out but I'm feeling the trust at this stage

Dealer sold us a car and had replaced all the working parts with used second hand parts eg brake pads and tyres. Told us they had serviced it but ended up costing us $1200 extra from an independent mechanic. Very poor businessman and i would not trust him again. Avoid at all costs! Addit: Since posting this review I have seen that this dealer has got several 'five star reviews' claiming foul play on these one star reviews. I would not be surprised if these were family/close friends. I sincerely reiterate that this dealer ripped us off and I would thoroughly encourage anyone to avoid this dealer at all costs. If he did it to me - and to at least the two other people who have reviewed him here - he could do it to you too. Save yourself the time, hassle and money and go somewhere else.

If I could give this dealer less than a star I would. Truly terrible customer service. Once I started asking some questions about potential issues with the car and that I wanted to bring down a mechanic to look at it I was told he would not sell me the car as it was too hard. I assume if I had been tricked into buying the car then like other buyers I may have had a lemon on my hands. Find a car elsewhere.

Was talked into buying an xtrail for a great price turned out needed more than the cars value in repairs was lucky enough to get the cars value back in a refund but said goodbye to the hundreds of dollars already spent on servicing and left my family with no car and no care for the inconvenience he had caused us. Beware as our car was already posted for sale again before he had even refunded us

I purchased a car and was told it had been safety checked & serviced but I ended up spending $1000+ on repairs to brakes, etc. I also had to keep chasing the owner for a couple minor repairs he promised. When questioned about the car he kept changing stories too. Don't make the mistake I did & avoid this business. The owner cannot be trusted.

Within 10 seconds of meeting Phil, two things become obvious: cars are his whole life AND he's a people person. If you're realistic with him, he'll be realistic with you. It's worth dropping into the yard just to see the office pics of the site from the 70s and 80s! I'll be back when it's time to trade in the gorgeous Calais I bought today.

Extremely dishonest people who will take a young mans hard earned money and sell him a box of scrap metal!!! This is by far the most dishonest car dealership I have ever had to deal with, all the cars in the yard are filthy disgusting and just save your time and money and go anywhere but here!!!!

I had a great experience with Low Price Auto, was very friendly and understanding of my needs in a car suited to me. Swapped my hatch back for a bigger car and am very pleased and happy with my new car. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a good car and good service.

He is a down to earth car dealer. He tells you like it is without holding any little surprises back. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the years of knowledge more than makes up for it. Recommend you have a look for your second hand good car.

I bought my first car from Phil, he was quite helpful and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the deal. I would deal with Low Price Auto again when I need to purchase another car.

My daughter purchased a proton 10years ago from Low Price Autos and had a problem at first but fixed for us . Has had had good service from him over that time would recondmend dealing with him
