"Customer service is terrible"
"It’s a pretty good store but there’s not much staff around to help if needed"
"Plenty of parking available and prices are competitive at Lowe’s"
"Still waiting for someone to respond to me, rather then the robot that comes on here and says sorry please call this mystery number"
"Absolutely garbage service Very unprofessional and lots of hidden fees not mentioned till after they are half done installations"
Customer service is terrible. Stood at the key desk for 15 minutes after being told by customer service that someone would be there to help me. Three staff around me we "busy" organizing the shelfs. Save your time and go to Home Depot. Got instant service here and was in and out in 5 minutes. No wonder there were no customers in Lowes.
It’s a pretty good store but there’s not much staff around to help if needed. Customer service is nice and friendly though. Lowe’s has a big selection f different products, many you don’t see at other hardware stores. They also sell higher quality outdoor stuff as well. Garden centre is a bit sad though. Lots of Halloween decorations.
Plenty of parking available and prices are competitive at Lowe’s. In addition, you can earn AirMiles reward miles at all Lowe’s locations in Canada. At this location, there is a garden centre (greenhouse) on the east side of the store. Here you can find seasonal plants and during Christmas time you can get poinsettias here too.
Still waiting for someone to respond to me, rather then the robot that comes on here and says sorry please call this mystery number. The product they sold us almost burnt our house down and refuses to stand behind their product saying they are only a vendor, could Sacha Blackall the manager please call me, she has my number
Absolutely garbage service Very unprofessional and lots of hidden fees not mentioned till after they are half done installations. Never had issues with Home Depot. It’s been a nightmare with constant visits of 4 times to store for a simple installation. If you want to waste your time and money this store is for you.
I had great customer service at Lowe’s in the lumber section. Emmanuel helped me and made sure I got the exact size of plywood that I needed. He was kind and friendly, I feel like not often do people leave reviews of a good experience. You could tell he cared about his work and it was great to see!
Very kind and helpful people working on the floor, if a tad incompetent at times. We asked to get two blinds cut at the same length and one was longer than the other resulting in a Re cut, after about an hour of finding new staff to help when some didn’t know how. Overall, it’s a hardware store!
Some of the floor staff are minimally helpful at times (with the exceptionof the garden center - they're usually great !), but the selection is pretty decent. The loading guy Jason was fantastic however, and went above and beyond to help me load my large purchase.
Very nice people on the floor. Helpful, happy, and friendly folks. Well-stocked shelves. Different stock than other big boxes around - so that’s a plus when looking for options. Bonus points for being pet-friendly. May never go back to Home Depot …
We had a great experience with a staff member (maybe manager, Sasha or Sarah!?) during the December cold snap. They were knowledgeable, patient, and full of recommendations. And the store was well stocked, after having no luck at a bunch of different places.
I've been going to other home supply stores and find they are always out of product. As a landscaper, I have been searching for certain items for clients, then at last, I find everything I needed that day at Lowe's. My new destination for my clients needs.
Service here sucks! Had to ask 3 times for someone to come to cut wood for us and waited 20 mins. Finally asked for a 4 th time and was told he was busy with another customer and would be at least another 10 mins. Gave up and went somewhere else.
I’m writing this review while I’m in this Lowe’s store. There are dozens of employees just hanging around and chatting, purposefully avoiding customers. I’ve been waiting here for a sales associate for 30 minutes now, still no one has helped.
I was in the store today asking about the Portable Air Conditioner. I ask 1 of the employees walking by if the Air Conditioners were in, and he said there not in yet. I turned around and there were 30 units on the floor right behind us. Not
The constant rebranding from Rona to Lowe's (2017) and then back to Rona (2024) has not been the fix it was advertised to be. The lack of a good customer service standard has been the downfall. To be fair in recent visits it has seemed that
We had the most terrible experience of buying appliances. We were at the store for over 2 hours to get assistance. Two "yes"-associates wanted to make a sale, and we came to find out that it did not fit in our home despite informing them of
If you want to shop empty shelves and experience horrible / non existent customer service I highly recommend going to Lowe's Grandview. If Lowes upper management is still scratching their head as to why Lowe's shut down 34 stores across six
Location on Grandview offers plenty of parking. Store layout is organized, easy to navigate, and clean. Did our shopping in the garden sections. Plenty of variety for everything outdoors and indoors. Customer service reps inside and outside
Horrible experience at the customer service counter. We picked up a toilet but later found the size did not fit somehow. The length between the holes and the rear end was not indicated on the package, so only when we took it out of the box
The while store was under some sore of renovation when we went and in disarray. I spoke to one very helpful guy but that was after speaking to THREE guys who felt like they had wandered in to the store and knew nothing. In fact I feel like
Kris, the plumbing manager was on his way home from work when he saw my husband and I outside the store struggling to put two bulky boxes containing kitchen sinks we had just bought into our SUV. He came to help us load the boxes into our
I called, was on hold for a considerable amount of time, had difficulty understanding one of the three people I spoke to, had to explain repeatedly that I have a Lowe's extended warranty, and was told by two people that they could service
I made an order online with Lowes Vancouver. They with out notifying me cancelled my order and then held my money for 5 days without ever notifying me. They tried to tell me that it was because I didn't match my billing address, the same
I was happy Rona/ Lowe's Grandview Hwy. had my kitchen faucet in stock and that I could find it on the shelf myself, but unimpressed by management's decision to NOT make life easier for customers by having enough workers to meet customer
This has been the worst customer service experience ever. I wanted two chairs, that they said they had in stock. Had to wait 45 minutes, then they suddenly could only find one. Then they said they’d ship the other. They brought us to the
I was at the store today and I am very pleased with how Ruben(assistant manager) handled my request. He was very helpful and polite and he listened to my concern. I also met the store manager and she was very nice as well. I told them I
The store is very large and well kept. Also there were so many employees around, and they are easy to find if you had any questions. Seems like there was one down every other aisle. All that aside, I came here for a simple tire patch or
BEWARE !!!!! I bought patio cushions on sale that didn't work out so I tried to return them but I was told they were on clearance and cannot return them. The receipt doesn't say clearance, the employee helping me didn't say they were on
Sometimes it feels better to spend our money on online shopping then being at a bricks and mortar store. When you know what you need/want but can't find the item and the intention of driving all the way to a physical store has become a
I’d give zero star if I can. We waited for scheduled delivery for half a day, yet the delivery never came. Then, we called the delivery company and was told that the delivery was cancelled while we received absolutely no notice at all.
Lowe's is at 2727 East 12 th Avn Vancouver. This store is very large, and it has a variety of decorative materials for home use. There are also various tools. And the parking lot is very big and the parking space is good. The business
While they do have some items that other places don’t I often find shelves not restocked. If you don’t like crowded places than you will find not that many people here, not sure how they stay in business honestly. Staff is helpful but
I went in on July 2 in the evening and wanted to buy a box of deck screws which contained approximately 90 screws. All boxes were open and I wasn't confident that there were no screws missing. Keep in mind the boxes of screws are in a
Saw the totally ripped bag of cement. Asked for discount, was refused , called for a manager and after a long-long discussion was given 30% discount. Usually in Home Depot or other home stores at least 50% off the retail price
Atrocious customer services due to being woefully understaffed at cashiers. Line-up and delays at cash for 15-20 mins as multiple customers have items without bar codes and no support from floor staff/absent staff. This is a
The worst place I have been to don't bother just go home depot and save your troubles!! Their un educated employee sold me wrong product now need to rip my tiles off the floor and re do ..... hundreds of dollars to fix
Very disappointed in this location. A simple price match took way longer than it should of. The store quoted multiple terms that were not actually listed on the official Price Match policy listed on the website.
went to the store too return a broken hole saw and the indian manager made me go to the office the office told us to go back to Lowes to return it went back and the indian manager told us again we cant return it
Very bad experience as one of the lady store manage resorted to un-true claims and made-up excuses only trying to deny a reasonable return. Was planning to open a VIP Pro account but will never shop here now.
Love having this within walking distance from home to grab last-minute reno materials. They match competitor's pricing so nothing to lose here. Rarely do I not find what I am looking for here.
I drove 40 minutes from a city nearby to purchase 4 Fiskars harvesting knives. The inventory online showed 11 items in stock. Three staff members looked faithfully.
Went to the outdoor centre, lots of selection in comparison to the Home Depot. Prices are comparable. Loads of parking. Friendly staff and very clean washrooms.
The delivery and take old fridge away was done in a most professional way. THANK YOU Ethan for your splendid assistance of finding the right fridge for us.
This store is terrible again. I hope it close for good. 1. Customer return requires receipt. They can not track the transaction down by payment or VIP id
One of the most poorly run stores in Vancouver, they do not put the customer first nor care really about anything. Here's a little story:
This is a great store for many things I got a way better price on my appliances and flooring than I could get in other big box stores.
Slow, clueless and unprofessional. Good luck trying to find a staff in customer service. if you do, most staff seem
Hardly a customer in sight I love shopping here. No line ups ,no hassles ,try it you will love the freedom to move
Vancouver Rona Grandview location closing due to poor sales and failing to pay staff a living wage
