Mestil Hotel exceeded all expectations with its superb rooms, deserving a solid 5-star rating. The only hiccup was navigating the ongoing road constructions on the way to the hotel, which made finding the entrance a bit tricky. However, once inside, the culinary delights were nothing short of spectacular. I indulged in a sumptuous 3-course meal that left me so content I could barely move. There's so much more to share about this extraordinary experience, but I'll leave you with this tantalizing taste. Come and experience Mestil Hotel for yourself—it's a journey worth taking! ⭐️✨

Méstil is one of the best if not the best hotel in Kampala. The experience is well thought out. The services and amenities are great. The rooms are well furnished, functional and very comfortable. The staff members are engaging, professional and understand the value of great customer services. Their dishes are well prepared and on time. The breakfast selection is well above expectations especially the pastries that are fresh, moist and we'll presented. The executive rooms are fitted with a cooking station, microwave , fridge and hot water kettle in case one would like to make their own meals. The office desk is great for anyone seeking a remote office experience. The gardens and amenities are well preserved and taken care of. The hotel is located in a prime and secure area in Kampala. There's 24h security at the hotel. I highly recommend a long or short term stay at the hotel.

Perfect venue for a wedding reception, you can choose between using a hall or their spacious gardens, the beauty with Mestil is that they have an amazing ambience both indoors and outdoors for amazing memorable photos. The food is great, the package ranges from 3-5 course meals for your guests depending on your budget and you get a complimentary room. Sunday Brunch: I have had there Sunday brunch a couple of times and oh woow, they never disappoint, great set up, great customer service and great buffet. Spa: The Spa is incredible, they offer different kinds of massage and facials, I particularly was attracted to the fact that the Spa is extremely clean and well managed, you feel relaxed even before starting the facial and massage. Rooms: Very clean, comfortable and spacious they have both residences and rooms.

  • Life in Christ

Spent a long time hearing about Mestil but personally I found it overated after an in person visit. Since its located in the middle of the city there is not very much of a natural atmosphere to it ,gives off a very artificial world like from the movie the Lorax. I am however not going to lie ,I didn't get to try the food there so I shall not step into that territory. Note:If you are looking for a spacious swimming pool like for training then the Mestil pool just isn't the place to go,it's much more designed for leisure. Something I applaud Mestil for though is the ample parking space there is definitely enough so that is something to take note of.

Rated 9/10. It's one of the best, if not the best 5-star hotel in Kampala. You're pampered from the gates to your room. Royal welcome and majestic embrace. The hotel is palatial in every aspect of its services. Breakfast and dinner are out of this world. The royal spaces and sparkling neatness gives you the heavenly feeling of holiness.

This is a relatively beautiful hotel. Was there with family and friends for a brunch. The food though not diverse was well done and well presented. Tasty even. Unfortunately the bbq smoke was blowing into the dining area. Many patrons didnt seem bothered by it. Maybe because it was worth it. My main issue was the service. The waiting staff were both slow and largely lacking in observable organisation and the all important foresight. I would go back, but probably on invitation not of my own volition.

Meetup is a beautiful hotel just outside Kampala city. It has scenic views of Kampala city that you can enjoy especially when in the beautiful gardens. The venue is very good for weddings, whether indoors or in the gardens. There is ample parking that can accommodate attendees for several concurrent functions. To access the hotel, you have to contend with the thick traffic on Entebbe road, else use Jinja road junction. They have lovely comfortable suites of various capacities and pricing. I recommend this hotel for those who can afford to spend on the items.

I stayed at Hotel Mestil for six weeks while I was working in Kampala and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, as well as the property, but the part I loved most was the staff. They were friendly, accommodating, and always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Brenda is the best! I also got one of the best massages of my life from Elizabeth at the spa. LOVE this place. Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Kampala!

Beautiful place, in and out! I loved the lunch buffet and the staff were very friendly, though one of them was very co fused. Truth is, being in Nsambya, I didn't expect such a beautiful hotel to exist in such an area. You just have to be there to believe it exists. It was my first time there and quiet frankly, I can use another visit. It's moderately priced, so any middle income earner can afford it. There's a swimming pool for the water enthusiasts and the bars are well stocked . It's worth checking out for sure!

  • Twahlae Pitome27

Your ultimate place to watch the world cup, spend a night, have a coffee or a meal at the restaurant, the sophistication in the architecture makes it more a tour wowed at every view and the staff. People! The staff is totally helpful to the dot and personally I loved that receptionist that allowed me access the facilities I needed with guidance. The pool prices are affordable too but be sure of value for money for everything you experience, Mestil is that place satisfactory service meets you right when you walk in.

  • Butterfly R

This was the worse experience by far. I attended a birthday party, hosted at the restaurant, planned carefully over 3 weeks, with management. Two hours before we all arrive, we're told the restaurant has decided to close for the night, and only allow a buffet, at least twice the price! Needless to say, with our dietary requirements, we couldn't eat. Neither did most of our party, as one has to plan for unforseen costs, due to a restaurant who wants to make extra money. Shame on you.

  • Harry Emmanuel

Was there for a party. The place is nice, with a wonderful view of the city, and the parking was convenient. Downside, the washrooms had no soap, and asking one of the employees around expressed frustration at management for not responding to their request for soap. I took the better part of 30 minutes engaging and standing my ground for soap to be brought to the washrooms.

This is a beautiful hotel. Staff are friendly, the rooms are beautifully designed, clean, neat and tidy. There is a pool, spa, steam room and sauna. The restaurants breakfast and dinner buffets are the best. There is some noise every now and then, but the amazing service makes up for that. I will definitely recommend this hotel to those who want an amazing experience while in Uganda.

I was here for a 5 day Residential workshop. Beautiful buildings, beautiful rooms, but the customer care is really lacking. The rooms only get cleaned when you request for it, they don't draw the curtains in the evening. The waitresses are not friendly at all. Only Nassif and Mr. Lugwe made our restaurant experience worth it. The only receptionist with care was Anne, the rest were very arrogant. The staff need serious training in customer care and hospitality

  • Phill Brown

Our stay at Mestil was fantastic! The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are huge, the pool and spa are great, and the food in the restaurant is delicious. It’s centrally located a short Uber from anywhere (even in horrible Kampala traffic), and it’s very safe and secure. The best part is the staff: they are always smiling and extremely helpful! I’d highly recommend Mestil to anyone visiting Kampala.

I've only dined here with family about a year ago, so I can't talk about the rooms. We've ordered about 8 different dishes and they were all horrible. Especially the sirloin steak, it's a scam. I don't think it's even meat, it was so disgusting that I remembered to give it a bad review after more than a year

I’m from SA and i chose to stay at Mestil for my visit to Uganda. Very elegant hotel. Staff is friendly. Housekeeping is up to date. There is a gym, sonaar, pool and spa. The jumping caste is put up every weekend and that’s just a wonderful add for the kids to play. I cannot fault anything about it. The food is amazing. The kitchen is 24hours. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely visit again.

Méstil hotel is the best place to stay with his five stars room, 4 stars services and 4 stars location, I wish with the best accomodations méstil has, it wasn't supposed to be at that location and for the beauty and architecture the service seems little annoying for those who stay long and know how 5 stars hotels works

It was the worst experience ever. I ordered for a club sandwich and the waiter confirmed with me white tossed bread but the order came with brown bread and it was tasteless I couldn't finish the second piece. The second order was for pork chops, it was very hard and very dry. There is lack of attention to details while preparing the food. It's been a wasted evening.

  • Muzeyi Steven

Top-tier hotelin Kampala strategically located on Nsambya hill with a clear and the best view of the city. Their customer care is great, clean environment, good food (orders take approximately 30-40 minutes to get ready) clean toilets, and secure ample parking space. Suitable, for business meetings, parties, gate aways, dinner dates, and conferences among others!

  • Busingye majorie

Fell in love with the place even before I took a seat. Méstil is really beautiful. Awesome ambiance, good food and the interior design is just fabulous. Lots of cool portraits and art. I was blown away. I highly recommend it whether for a party or just a quiet night out. The rooms are good too with room service. And yes the toilets are spotless and perfumed..

  • Moses Adams

Mestil is a classic hotel and residence place. It has all amenities required in place. It has a great ambient environment. They have a large spacious parking, gym, sauna, massage, two + conference halls, no contactless restaurant etc. The rooms are so comfortable for stays with 24hour service. The place is secure with 24hour camera surveillance on site.

  • Aidah Namwanja

It was such a lovely experience. We spent the new year's eve and day there. The food and service was awesome. The rooms are extremely clean, with beautiful showers and comfortable beds. We were a group of 13 and the only complaint was the door bells not working in some rooms. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Please keep it up.

  • Fredrick Lakwonyero

The staff were amazing from the gentleman at the reception who showed us around the facility to Sharon who briefed us about new years eve celebration bookings then the gentleman who took our dinner order the food was amazing & value for money as well the bar man who served us drinks they all kept checking if we were fine I highly recommend this place

This hotel is in its own league. Indeed a 5 star. The ambiance is really nice, architectural work on point. They have ample parking space, very nice food and a very nice service. Ideal for meetings, dates, lunch and dinner not forgetting it can be a good get away from the Kampala congestion. And its nearness to town is also an added advantage.

Look good from far but far from good, paid 93,000 for what can only be describe as prison food, and they had two attempts, I felt sorry for the lady waiting on us so just gave up.. paid the bill and left... Beautiful, Serene and great for a quiet hang out. The pool area (both adult & kids pools) too offers a relaxing atmosphere, not crowded and lifeguard is vigilant. The staff have good customer care. Misplaced my phone and they got it promptly. The food was good too..had pork chops with assorted vegetables and potato wedges.

I've been a loyal customer of Mestil's Weekly Brunch. And I love it every time. The customer service and professionalism are a 10/10. Although it's pricey it's worth it. I haven't had a chance to spend a night in their rooms but Im sure I would love them too.
