I have been insuring my vehicles for 49 years. Recently I changed my brokerage for insurance because it felt like my previous broker was complacent at best and closer to disinterested in my business. I worked with Amy Teague to make the change. It has been such a pleasure working with her! She worked hard to be sure to find me the right insurance provider for my particular needs. I had so many questions, and Amy was incredibly patient and walked me through the process and made sure I understood the details associated with my coverage. But more than that, she went above and beyond what I would have expected. Shortly after I became Amy's client, a city garbage truck backed into the side of my vehicle. Amy made sure that I was connected with an adjuster right away. I do not ever recall an agent ever giving that level of service in 49 years. One more thing I want to share. For the first time in my life I had the need to do an in transit move of a vehicle. I did not know how to go about doing that. I called Amy and she walked me through the entire process even though everything but putting insurance on to the vehicle was not part of her purview. I think Amy might be the most professional and customer service oriented agent I have ever dealt with. Since moving to Calgary from BC, I was connected with Ranjana Witharana at MHK Insurance through a mutual connection. She has been amazing. Ranjana makes it easy to get things done digitally. When we purchased our new vehicle she had everything ready and worked with the dealership ahead of time, so we didn't need to waste time. She also researched multiple insurance companies related to our house insurance and provided us pricing for all them so we could compare all while bringing us the information we needed to understand the differences we needed to understand compared to BC.
