I first came to MK Dentistry during the Pandemic after being shocked by how loose my previous dentist's office was with protocols. In a beautiful building(lots of parking)the office and examination and treatment rooms are spotlessly clean, and bright, with every modern protocol in place. The medical equipment is the latest in technology and provides an experience in the dentist's chair like no other. You can listen to music or watch a calming video but I prefer to just look out the big window to a view towards the river. All rooms look out to the green leaves of summer or the colors of fall. While you wait you could be somewhere far from dentistry: comfy modern couches and a big screen TV, silenced, with captions, keep you occupied. But I enjoyed the Rolling Stone magazine! And a lovely espresso! Music fills the room. But you never have to wait long. This is a tightly run ship. Most importantly the care is expert. I see Dr. Kaip and my husband sees Dr. D'Ambrosia. Kathy runs the office with a very friendly and professional staff who always help navigate insurance and keep you on track for treatments accordingly. In the course of year they helped me get caught up on all my dental procedures and Dr.Kaip gave me the confidence to smile again when he did a restoration on my front teeth. He is an artist. The staff is expertly skilled and very good company, patient and understanding and I love having my teeth cleaned! My husband and Dr. D'Ambrosia bonded over their loveof skiing. She has created a treatment plan for him and he is well on his way to a healthy smile. I am so glad my doctor recommended MK Distinctive Dentistry. I recommend you try them-you will not be disappointed.

My experience at MK Distinctive Dentistry is nothing but top notch. My dentist is Dr Alyse D’Ambrosia. Prior to being a patient at MK, I was going to another dental provider. With my previous provider, the back of the office where all the work was done was fine. It was the front of the office that was the issue. After witnessing a horrible interaction between the front desk and a possible new patient, I decided that it was time to leave. with my background in customer service, listening to her speak condescendingly was appalling. It is my belief that if you are to spend thousands of dollars to get help, the very least you should expect is a kind exchange. Walking into MK for the first time was like a breath of fresh air. All smiles and so very kind. Dr D’Ambrosia and her assistant Elvia make me feel comfortable. Dr always takes time to explain procedures and she always goes above and beyond. Arriving early for an appointment, Kathy asked me if I wanted something to drink, she insisted to make me a cup even though I could have done it myself. She literally walked around and came out from the desk and served me. That was the cherry on the top. I feel that patients forget that WE have a choice to WHOM we receive care. And even tho my out of pocket costs are subsidized by the insurance payout, we also forget that if we are paying someone to a service, in short, THEY, work for us. There are so many dental providers in our city, do yourself a favor and go to MK. Ample parking, great staff front and back!

The physical office is comfortable and modern. More importantly, the front office staff are welcoming, responsive to questions regarding scheduling and insurance, etc., and ensure patient comfort prior to meeting with the hygienist or dentist. MK Distinctive Dentistry is like a dental spa (imagine that) from the moment you enter. The waiting room is modern, spacious and comfortable. The front office staff greets you warmly and always remembers your name. They run a tight ship and never keep you waiting. Kathie is a long time front office employee and provides a sense of stability and quality to the business. She has a genuine and upbeat personality. The dental rooms are complete with the latest high tech equipment. Floor to ceiling windows provide a nice view and floods the room with natural low light. The dental chair is so comfortable I could take a nap. I even forget where I am until the hygienist asks me to open my mouth. A big wide shout out to Ana and Dr. D’Ambrosia for their professional, caring manner. They are both good communicators and conversationalist. Very down to earth. The entire office flows seamlessly from the moment you enter until you leave. I highly recommend MK Distinctive Dentistry especially if you hate going to the dentist the way I once did.

Highly recommend!! My husband originally chose Dr Kaip because the dental office was down the hall from where he worked…but his experience was very positive, so then I started going to see him, too. And when our son needed cosmetic repairs to his first…and then second front tooth, I did not hesitate to bring him in to see Dr Kaip because I knew he would give him a nice smile but with a reasonable approach given his age. Dr Kaip also was so helpful in navigating various aspects of the orthodontic process with our son as well. We have had great experiences with everything from routine cleanings and checkups to more detailed preventative and cosmetic work. The hygienists are all fantastic and efficient, and the front of the house - those ladies are truly top notch! The office took heath and safety seriously during Covid and implemented a number of measures to keep patients and staff safe and healthy. They also work collaboratively with you on navigating insurance issues which is super helpful!

I have been seeing Dr. D’Ambrosia for 6+ years. I followed her from her previous practice to MK Dentistry. I can honestly say I trust no one else to touch my teeth! I am pretty nervous when it comes to dental procedures, but Dr. D has such a calm and genuine demeanor that instantly puts me at ease. What I appreciate most about Dr. D’Ambrosia is her ability to really listen to me and take the time to sit down and answer my questions. I have been going to this Practice for almost 18 years, since day one they have always provided excellent dental care, incredible staff that care about their patients and their craft. Now I have a family of five and we all go here to get dental care. Over the years the practice has only gotten better and better, if that was even possible. Everyone from the front desk staff, to the Drs know each patient by name as well as personal details that make the service here top notch. The dental work here is incredible in fact my kids went to a kids dentist and the ruined their teeth and we came here and got straight answers and solutions right away. The practice is also practical when it comes to the types of procedures you need and you don't get pushed into things and don't feel ripped off. The Drs are incredible and personable as well as the entire staff. Trust me this is where you need to go.

Dr Kaip and his team are the best! Not only have they helped improve my dental health, but also my overall health and well being. On my initial visit, Dr Kaip reviewed my x-rays and commented that my front teeth had signs of my struggle to breathe at night. (I also have heart failure and I assumed my morning fog and tiredness were due to my heart condition.) After a few tests, sleep apnea was ruled out. Dr Kaip suggested the Seattle Protocol to help me breathe better during the night. Once we found the right solution (a mouth guard in my case), I no longer wake up feeling tired and foggy but rested and clear headed! This guard has helped me so much! Also, my Ejection Fraction (heart’s pumping ability) has increased 5% which is incredible to me! And I no longer snore… :) I’m so grateful to Dr Kaip!

Fantastic experience for a new patient. Mk was recommended to me by my wife. My previous dentist changed ownership, found myself in limbo and got behind on keeping up with cleaning. They took the time to know me, understand my goals and how I would like to achieve things. The new patient visit was the best I ever had. Dr D'Ambrosia took the time to explain all her findings and educate me on the specifics. Ana the hygienist made me feel very comfortable. I also need to mention the protocol they have in place to deal with Covid19 is one of the best I have seen. From the way they handle patients, attention to cleanliness or the presence of air scrubbers/purifiers in every single room. Highly recommended.

Mark Kaip, DDS is acknowledged by his peers and patients as an excellent dentist. He is, and has been, our family dentist for twenty-two years. The eighteen of us range in age from seventy-six to three, and most can tell a humorous tale about “Going to the Dentist.” At sixteen, one of our grandchildren lost most of a tooth at Shop Class. We called Mark. Rushed to school and then his office. Before classes were dismissed, we were all home! Mark’s a skilled professional. He and his staff will bend over backwards to meet both anticipated and unanticipated dental needs. Check ‘em out! Mark and his staff know their business, they are close by, and, barring an anesthetized lip, you will leave smiling.

I've come here for years and know people who have been customers for decades! I've gone to 5 dental outfits over the years but never found 'the one' for me and my family. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Kaip and his team for the professionalism and the level of patient care they exhibited ..before I was even their patient. My dentist of 30+ years retired last year and I had not yet looked for a replacement . I was schedule to travel to Mexico to attend a wedding and suddenly a few days before flying I began suffering a severe tooth ache and needed to see someone fast. Dr. Kaip agreed to see me with almost no notice and he and his staff stayed after office hours to take care of me and ensure that I was not in any pain. Needless to say I am a regular patient now and extremely happy with the level of care they provide.

From the patient coordinators service and friendliness, to the dental hygienists and dentists quality work and professionalism, all is amazingly great. As an office staff, they volunteer in the community, from environmental efforts to serving meals to homeless youth and contributing dental supplies. I cannot say enough about these folks. Hands down the best dental office I've been to. I always feel right at home as soon as I walk in. The receptionists are very friendly and we always share stories about our dogs. You're never made to wait too long to be seen which I appreciate. Dr. D has helped me with my invisalign treatment and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. She's been fantastic. Dr. Kaip is also great. I could spend an entire appointment talking about the Blazers and Timbers with him. Everyone in the office is so friendly and personable. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

I’ve never taken such good care of my teeth and I’m sure that it’s because MK makes me feel so empowered about my dental hygiene ❤️

Great dental experience every visit at this dental facility! Dr. Kaip is dedicated and strives to perform great work. I’m very happy with the work he’s done for me- I needed crown placement and he wasn’t 100% satisfied with the first set, so he redid it free of charge until he was satisfied with the perfect result. The associates and front staff are always welcoming and friendly- Dr. Kaip even started singing to welcome me into the back rooms for my appt one time (7:00am appt). I definitely recommend this dentist office!
