An excellent opportunity to experience design as art and all that it entails. Incredibly friendly staff members are often directly involved with installing exhibits so they are always up for a conversation and are more than willing to answer questions! With wonderful outreach programs for both adults and kids, this family friendly museum is an exquisite asset to the downtown Atlanta area and will be for many years to come.

Thrilled that this was my first experience at an art museum in town. Visitor Services staff is very welcoming, friendly, and informative. As a new transplant and fellow art museum employee, I sincerely appreciate the service here. Exhibit was thought provoking as well! I look forward to visiting again. High art museum could learn a lot from you!! :)

I've lived in Atlanta for a while but didn't actually explore the museum of design until last week, and it was so worth it. it's a $5 entry fee but they have rotating exhibits that are always about something new and interesting! when I visited the espresso history exhibit was on display, and they had quite an extensive collection :)

Small and quality of visit is entirely dependent on the particular exhibit at the time. Due to its small size, certainly can not complete or be compared with noteworthy design museums. Check the website before visiting. $10 admission, $5, both of which are high compared to what you see. Allot 10 to 15 minutes to see everything.

It’s a small space but each exhibit is so well-curated and tastefully chosen. If you’re in the area I’d definitely recommend dropping by it’s like a little brain break.

Small gallery space with thoughtfully presented, multimedia exhibits about design and architecture. Great gift shop and really nice staff.

Loved the bike technology and societal impact exhibit. Very cool for bike geeks. The only disappointment was that they didn't carry the cool bike accessories from the exhibit! The staff was super friendly and recommended lunch spots close by.

Not a great place to go with friends or family. Also completely dependent on the exhibit they show. The video game one was completely bland and felt unfinished in a way. Staff is nice at least
