We experienced a fire at our home and my iMac was damaged in the fire. Insurance at the time said it was a write off and nobody else thought it was fixable or was interested in trying to salvage it, the standard answer was "sorry, buy a new one"... so we kept it in storage for over 2 years! My brother suggested we try clean it up and take it in to Macfix who had recently repaired both his laptop and my Dad's laptop perfectly, and see what they'd suggest. MacFix were the only device repair facility that could perform the delicate process of only replacing the glass of my iPad Pro 11inch 2nd gen 2020 model.
