One of the few positives in the days after the sudden passing of my father about a month ago was the kindness, sincerity, and authenticity of the folks at Madison Funeral Home. Don and Brandon were nothing less than a godsend. Conversations with them were practical but healing. You could tell that this was more than a job, that it was an act of service and love to the hurting. They truly blessed me and my family. In doing this, they deeply honored my father and I will be forever grateful to them both. I'm confident that if every business and service industry had their heart, pain and death wouldn't have to be masked with drugs or distraction but embraced as part of the process of living. We were never meant to journey alone and I'm so happy that they were the ones walking with my family and I during this painful time.
