Who would have thought that one of my highlights of a trip to NYC from the UK would have been meeting Kevin and his team (Cynthia) at Madison Jewellers. Although it has never happened before, during our flight my wedding ring felt very tight on my finger, and the swelling seemed to stick and it became quite worrying when my ring finger started to swell and turn purple! We discussed going to the emergency room or the hospital as nothing we were doing could get the ring off, but as we left our hotel (The Benjamin) I noticed a jewellers at the end of the block. Kevin greeted me with a smile and immediately reassured me. He ended up actually cutting the ring off my finger which was particularly tough as the ring is platinum. It took him around half an hour to do as the ring was so stubborn, but he was so calm and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. To top things off, after all his hard work he then told me he didn’t want payment (which of course I didn’t accept and left money on the counter)! We were in no rush to leave once the ring was off as Kevin and Cynthia’s company was just so great which meant we stayed to chat to them for a good half hour or so after. His professionalism, knowledge, but above all, kindness, will always be remembered and I’m so glad that the ring got stuck on my finger! Kevin, if you do read this, thank you. I promise I will be back in to see you next time I’m in NYC.

We had the good fortune of walking into Madison Jewelers on 3Rd Ave, on a recent trip to New York. We weren't on an actual shopping spree but wanted a little memento that reminded us of NYC. Well, we could not have chosen a better place. We found a wide range of beautiful gold & diamond jewellery and what a range of watches!! The owner Kevin Naiker personally helped us, ably assisted by the very lovely Gila. Together they looked for something that met my needs whilst at the same time being sensitive to dismal AUD/USD exchange rate. They were genuinely interested in me as a shopper even though I wasn't spending tens of thousands of dollars. We were offered coffee and made to feel very comfortable. I walked away with a pair of diamond earrings that's my special reminder of a fantastic customer service experience and a memorable trip to the Big Apple. Thank you Kevin and your wonderful team. You treated us like family :)

Don't go. Too many miscommunications. Kevin is an unprofessional swindler. Took rings and watch in for repair. Kevin said "$50 for the rings and I'll take care of the watch because you bought it here". Turns out "I'll take care of it" means it'll get done, not for free. Didn't call to authorize a $79 repair we could have gotten elsewhere. Said the ring/watch would be ready on a Tuesday. I went in Friday and surprise: it wasn't. Didn't call me to update the timing or offer to ship it. Keeps claiming he told us things like a free battery replacement when he obviously didn't. When we bought the watch, he told us it's easy to change the band. When we called for help, he said it wasn't easy. Too many things went wrong to trust him again.

The place at 805 3 rd Ave location is horrible. The guy who is always sitting there, lies a lot. He promises that watch battery will be replaced for free for a life time which is a lie. After buying the Longines watch, the battery finished in several month which is unacceptable for a new watch. He replaced it with a cheap battery that I had to come after several months again. Another replacement. again ... The items are not reliable. Don't trust them. Get your watch from somewhere else... Get it from the main seller and not from like these guys who are third party. Fantastic Staff! Kevin and Cynthia are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My friend and I come to NYC every 2 years and this is one of the first stops on our list! We are always treated with great respect and leave feeling as if we have just visited with dear friends (which at this point is true!). Kevin and Cynthia always make time to show us anything we are interested in - and there is never any pressure to purchase. They have earned a special place in our hearts! I highly recommend that you visit this store and experience the wonderful staff first hand. You will not be disappointed.

Madison jewelers on 3rd ave is one of the best jewelry shops I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I’ve purchased 4-5 mid tier luxury watches from Kevin, had others serviced and purchased jewelry. Prices are more than fair. I’ve brought designs that i was going to be charged over 40% more than what Madison would make the same exact piece for me at. And Kevin knows his watches, complaints about quartz battery charges seem uncharacteristic at best. I’ve rarely meet a gentleman in business, and Kevin himself is one of the rare gems available at Madison jewelers

Dicha caja no apareció en el momento de la compra y me lo dejaron empaquetado en una caja ORIS normal con el compromiso de enviarme la original cuando la encontraran. La reclame durante meses sin resultado. Jamás me la enviaron y jamás me dieron una explicación. Mala experiencia, no la recomiendo. Contacté varias veces, a lo largo de meses, sin obtener respuesta por su parte. No puedo estar contento con el trato recibido.

The owner of this jewelry store, Kevin, is so pleasant to deal with and so honest to boot. My daughter found him by accident when she went shopping for a Longines watch two years ago. She priced it out in other places and found Kevin gave her the best deal. We have been going there now for two years and have bought several more watches and other jewelry and also found he does the most beautiful resetting of jewelry that you may own and want redone. We all love him and Madison Jewelers. Please go in and meet them...you won't be sorry!

Communication is awful. I needed a simple chain fix and am extremely unhappy with the timeline of service. I was guaranteed it would be done by a Thursday, as my stipulation for leaving my piece in this location was that I needed it finished prior to the weekend. My repair was not done Thursday and when I called back Friday it was still not done, nor was it even at their location. Each time I called there was confusion as to who I was and where my piece even was. I absolutely would not trust this place with my items going forward.

Kevin and Cynthia were absolutely amazing. My ring was tight on me and my finger was swollen. I looked up jewelers near me and lucky enough I got put into the hands of Kevin and Cynthia. Kevin was so patient cutting my ring off and I was of course nervous, but the two of them kept me calm. I couldn't have gotten luckier today. I believe everything happens for a reason and I'm so happy I got to meet two great people like them.

What began as a simple battery replacement request grew into a strong and valued relationship with Kevin and the team at Madison. They repaired many of my watches with great service and always meeting time commitments. I purchased earrings for my wife and Kevin was very flexible in allowing her to return and exchange for a different pair. I highly recommend Madison Jewelers!!

The DMV has better customer service. After not hearing back for 5 weeks for a simple quote and no response to multiple calls, I honestly thought the boarded up and ran away with everything. I had to stop by 3 separate times just to get my watch back.

Recieved my watch completely scratched up after a battery change. The minute hand was also bent. Rookie jeweler! Go anywhere else if you don't want you property to be destroyed.
