"Lazy Customer Service"
"Quiet area? Nah there's no such a thing in this place since an employee is sorting out and cleaning the shelves making loud noises not caring at all about it"
"This would be an amazing library, if it weren't for the plethora of children and mothers all unifying to create the loudest voice symphony you've ever heard"
"I come with friend to work on my assignment"
"There is no WIFI here and that is paramount for students and other people studying"
Lazy Customer Service. My first (and last) time was 8/7 to return books and pick- up more. I walked in and couldn't find a return chute so carried them with me while i picked out books to borrow. After making my selection i walked up to the counter and told the girl (who was doing nothing) that i wanted to return books and check out some. She said that i had to go outside to return them and if i wanted to check out books to use the kiosk.. She said i can show you how to use it. She then walked me over to the kiosk, saw i could do it then promptly walked back to her counter and did nothing. . She fid not offer to take the books i wanted to return and i ended up having to return them outside. Not happy with the way my rates money is being spent. South Yarra and Prahran are much friendlier and helpful. .please train your staff and remind them that they are in a service industry
Quiet area? Nah there's no such a thing in this place since an employee is sorting out and cleaning the shelves making loud noises not caring at all about it. He could do that in the morning or at closing time but no, he thought it's the right moment now. It's a nice place after all, full of lights from.the outside and from the inside, WiFi accessible thought your membership card which is easy to sign for it and plugs quite everywhere. AC can be none or too cold if the staff doesn't keep an eye on it and overall id like to see the staff more involved when somebody make noises or other stuff.
This would be an amazing library, if it weren't for the plethora of children and mothers all unifying to create the loudest voice symphony you've ever heard. This library has more noise pollution than Melbourne CBD at its peak hour. I don't understand why they would bother to have a "quiet" zone when none of the library staff actually do anything to enforce it. Could barely even think past all the noise...
I come with friend to work on my assignment. There has one table left but we need 2 chair for us then we ask for chair but a staff said you cant sit together because we need to have social distancing its really bad thats we come together and willing to work together how come we cant sit together. I do understand if you need to away from other else but not my friend. Stupid
There is no WIFI here and that is paramount for students and other people studying. The Staff were the loudest people there and completely distracting the whole time. And to top it all off, you cannot print or photocopy. As well as the toilets being inaccessible.
Great library with lots of space, it's usually nice to study or read a book in but you do get the occasional really noisy days with lots of kids so I bring headphones just in case I need to block out any noise.
Seems to be garnered towards little children and their grandparents. Lots of squealing, crying and loud talking. Not an inviting place for adults who may want to book browse, study or do quiet reading.
Very clean and well maintained library. Lots of new and up to date magazines to browse. The grounds surroudning are very beautiful and simply relaxing outside feels really tranquil
The library is modern, staff are polite, and I love the booking system to make borrowing a breeze. There are plenty of computers and other facilities as well - including toilets.
very well organised library and great for studying and remote work. internet speed is good and been here a few times and no problems so far. clean and seats are comfortable.
Great community library. Modern interior with a large dedicated enclosed quiet reading/study area. Friendly and super helpful staff and cool little kids area.
Great collection of books, music and graphic novels, and the librarians are really helpful. Also there is a great space for younger kida to read and play.
I spend a lot of time this days to study there. Very clean and quiet. Also well equipped for studying too. And the librarians are kind and friendly.

Great place with daily papers, lots of power outlets for charging, water cooler and lots of books/magazine.
Good Library, have variety collection of books & audio visuals. Good place for study and doing homework.
Very good local library with very helpful staff - would be great if it had longer hours on a Sunday
There’s always some 4 year old screaming the whole place down and not caring about everyone’s fault
A very quiet place where you can freely read your books.
It needs to open before 10am! And before 2pm on sundays!
