** UPDATE- After writing this post I was contacted immediately by corporate who apologized and honored the original credit that was promised. We ordered pizza and wings a week later and the service was top notch and the pizza and wings were delicious. Thank you Marcos for the outstanding customer service and winning our business back! We often order take out pizza as it’s right down the street and easy/yummy meal for the grandparents when hosting family over and out by the pool. We recently had 3 terrible gluten free pizzas that were burnt, no cheese and basically not edible when we brought home. We called to share this with the manager that day (gentlemen whose name we didn’t get) who was apologetic and shared they were understaffed that day- as a service recovery he was going to extend a credit for 3 pizzas. We recently called to redeem the credits on Father’s Day and were told we only had 50 points but you needed 100 to use points as a general rule and she would grant us 50 more but they wouldn’t go into affect until the next day (100 points still wouldn’t be sufficient to make up for the 3 replacements pizzas we were promised). After back and forth with the manager that day she acted like we were a burden and inconvenience to her day. She said that’s all she could do based on corporate rules which left us in a scramble on Father’s Day to figure out a new meal for the group. I’m very disappointed in the customer service given we order from Marco’s at least once a month for our family off 7. We shared with the manager we will never been ordering again and will share our experience with all our neighbors in the area and she did nothing to try to recover us as loyal customers. As someone who is personally works in hospitality industry and my husband who has owned many restaurants this is absolutely embarrassing customer service and felt the need to share it which is something I typically never take the time to do.

Extremely, very BAD Customer Service! This place does not know the meaning of what customer service means. Ordered a XL chicken fresco, L delux, and antipasto salad as carry out on 2/4/19. When my son returned from picking up the food, my antipasto salad was missing. So I called the restaurant and spoke to shift-lead, Cody, requested my salad taken off my card. Cody told me that he couldn't do that. He explained that their system won't allow him to refund the salad back to my card. Then he said to send my son back to pick it up. (It takes 30 min round trip). I told Cody I was not doing that, especially when the food handler forgot to place the salad with our order. I told him to have his deliverer bring the salad. Cody said 'our drivers make LESS THAN MINIMUM WAGE , so I will have to charge you for delivery service.' I replied, that was unfair, and that it wasn't my fault that the employee made the mistake. I suggested, he takes responsibility as a manager and bring the salad. He said, managers cannot leave the premises. I N that case, told him I will contact the corporate office to rectify the problem so that next customer who have similar issue will not have to go through what I had. He told me that's my choice. Since we weren't getting any where, he Told me he can void the transaction, but I had to bring the pizzas back, which to that I said, "It would be my pleasure!" Upon returning the pizzas and getting my card voided, I asked Cody, "If you can void my card, then why can't you void the card and then ring me up for the two pizzas?" To this, Cody had nothing to say. Instead, Jaylen (cashier) said, "We don't talk to Cody like that. We can't do that; we won't do that!" No apologies; nothing. After this, I went to Whataburger and got some patty melts for the family. I told the Whataburger employee what just happened at Marco's Pizza, she reassured me that I will get the best customer service; she kept her words and gave fantastic customer service? Apparently, Marco's pizzas do not believe nor practice customer service.

Hello, good evening, I would like to leave my experience in my first time with my family at Marcos Pizza! We ordered three pizzas to eat at the restaurant and when the girl asks what we are going to have, we look at the refrigerator outside and decide to order a large Pepsi since there are 7 of us, the girl kindly took our order. We wait sitting at the table, then they call us and he gives me the 3 boxes of pizza and the large Pepsi and nothing else! She didn't give us disposable plates, she didn't give us napkins and she didn't give us glasses to drink our drinks. We found it strange since it is not normal that they do not offer you these basic things in a restaurant, we got up to ask them for plates and napkins because we were inside the restaurant, it is more than obvious that we are going to eat here, when we asked for glasses they told us that they did not have them. glasses, I told him how am I supposed to drink the drink? She told me I'm sorry, the company doesn't give us glasses. She turned around and left me talking to myself. I want to clarify that they sell small and large soft drinks, I bought the large one! So for that reason I didn't have a disposable cup to drink my drink, I had to go look for plastic bottles in my car outside, cut them in half to be able to drink the drink. I would like to ask customers who eat inside the restaurant and who buy large drinks like I did, to please explain clearly that they will not be given glasses and they must decide for themselves how to drink their drinks. I understand that it is not the worker's fault BUT, it is their job to inform the customer everything before selling them something, if she had told me that they do not have a single glass I would have bought individual drinks, and from the owners of MARCOS PIZZA for Please buy glasses for your clients! This moment was very unpleasant. The customer pays for good service, good food and good attention.

Terrible experience. I ordered food that was never delivered, they did not provide a refund and told us to call corporate but wouldn’t provide a contact name that THEIR corporate asks you for. The driver called and told us that he knocked on the wrong door, so we told him where we were (keep in mind we were regular customers and just placed an order a couple of days prior). After not seeing him, we called him back, and got no answer. We called the store and they informed us that he “called us 5 times”…which was a LIE and left the food at our doorstep…which was also a LIE. I drove to the location to speak with someone and the ‘Asst. Mgr’, informed us that he didn’t have the capabilities to perform a refund. I asked for his direct manager and he informed that “he didn’t have one”. Of course I knew this was not true. We identified who the manager was, but needed to see how far they were going to go to LIE to us. The manager was there and NEVER engaged us, and she walked back and forth the entire time while the ‘Asst. Mgr.’ kept relaying messages from us to her and vice versa. It wasn’t until HER associate asked to speak with me privately (I will not disclose what he told us), that she decided to follow us (presumably afraid of what he was going to tell us). I filed a complaint and have yet to hear back after 3 days. If I could give zero stars I would. DON’T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!! I want to follow up on this review. Despite the negative experience I recently received, I was contacted by one of Marcos senior leaders responsible for this location. I was shocked at how professional and seemingly empathetic to my situation he was. He talked through the efforts he took to remediate the issue and did everything he could to make me whole. My experience is my experience and Marcos never asked me to update my review, but, felt it important to inform about this experience as well.

My husband and I are new to Jacksonville and haven’t gotten a TV yet, but to my surprise, Marcos pizza was just the entertainment we needed. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza just before 9 pm, we didn’t roll in to the store until about 9:30pm. My husband sent me into the store to pick up our pizza that was supposedly ready. Once inside nothing would’ve prepared me for the show I was about to watch. Fellow customers caught me up to where they were in the episode. As I understood it—one of the workers had a quit fit (swearing, screaming, etc) and stormed outta the store. I walked in just before she returned to her post and started hate-making the pizzas. Never with such force have I seen a pizza-maker smack the dough. Never such passion has gone into making a 12” pepperoni magnífico pizza. No hands were washed or hairnets used in the making of this pie. One of the two other workers left to make deliveries, leaving the ferocious pie-puncher and one man who may have been a paraplegic—not sure. I watched in dread as the pie-puncher ignored the growing line of angry customers and the other worker struggled to stay on his feet. As if to add salt to this very large wound, a customer demanded a refund and swore she would be back tomorrow. Alas the pie-puncher called our name and we hurriedly picked up the pizza, but as we were about to leave, the struggling worker with the aid of the pie-puncher and a fellow customer, sat down just after pulling the rack with 8 already-made pizzas to the floor. I didn’t watch the rest because it became too painful to watch. Overall the show was 5/5 stars but the hate-filled pizza was just as expected—a bit salty, so with dinner+show, I have to go with 3 stars.

I am not someone who writes reviews but after what happened last night, I have to share my experience to warn other customers. I have placed delivery order through the email offering I received from Marco’s. Since I have been their customer I have been receiving offers through the email. After a little over hour later I decided to call them just to check on my order and Gentlemen who answered the call said that they have been having some issues with online orders and somehow my order glitched into pick up. Since I ordered delivery I asked that if they can deliver it to me and he said that he will get the Manager to handle it. A woman answered the phone and I had to explain everything to her again. She sounded very annoyed and was very short with me, she asked me to pay additional delivery even though I paid 15% tip on the website, so just to make things easier I said that I will give the Driver additional tip when pizza arrives. She asked me for my address over and over in different times during the conversation and kept being very rude, disrespectful and uninterested. In the end of conversation she just said rudely that my pizza will get there when it gets there and hung up. I was so shocked by her behavior so I called again but was immediately put on hold and never picked up. So, I waited for pizza but it never arrived nor my money was refunded. It’s really unfortunate that even though they have good pizza their customer service is thus far the worst I have ever experienced before. Please be careful when ordering from them. Thanks

I love the Marco’s product however the customer service at this location is a no for me. My last 4 Visits to this location have been bad. My first 3 bad experiences were missing items from Caesar Salads. The first time the croutons were missing, the second and third time, the cheese was missing (Not really major except I paid for those items). The fourth time was when I mentioned to the customer service associate about my first 3 issues and she stated to me that, “I can’t expect the customer service to be right every time.” and that there truck had not arrived and that is why the croutons and cheese were missing from my salads. Despite her response, I still placed an order. Tonight, I ordered and paid online as usual. Got to the drive thru window and there were 3 associates at the registers. One of them, who appeared to be the manager as she had on a lace top, opened the window and said they would be with me in a second. A few minutes go by and as I sit there, I’m watching her take an order and after she takes that order she grabs a box and her keys and walk out the door and got into her car. I understand you are tired, I get it, but how hard was it for you to just get my name, give me my box and then leave? I sat there another minute and an associate finally came to the window and says, “Hello”. ‍♀️. When I spend my money I expect a great product and customer service and I’m sorry to say this location doesn’t have it and I will not spend another dime there.

Horrible experience. Decided to try a different pizza place than the usual ones. Called and placed an order for pickup and was told 15 minutes. Arrived 20 minutes later and was the only one in line and they looked for my pizza and couldn't find it. Then the guy brought out a pizza that basically looked like mine, but with some wrong toppings on it. I told him he asked me 3 times on the phone and I clarified the toppings, but I can wait for them to correct it. He took it to the back and the pizza making lady was like I don't have time for this. He then put that pizza on the side and started working on other pizzas. 15 minutes pass by, then 30 minutes, then 50 minutes. I asked what's going on with my pizza and they said working on it, but he clearly wasn't. In the end he offered me that same pizza from earlier and said this was your order and had me wait an hour after i got there and still didn't correct my order and just wasted my time. The way the talked to each other was also in an argumentative manner and they just seemed to hate their job. Do not waste your time at this Marco's.

Tonight I ordered a pizza and soda from this specific location, I don’t know what team members worked there but they were amazing and so kind! My DoorDash was giving me a hard time they didn’t have anyone accepting my order it was 10 minutes before closing time and each time I called a kid answered saying they will wait a little bit for a dasher to accept the order , come to find out a dasher finally accepted my order around 11:15 and I call them back to find out the same kid answered saying not to worry they will leave the pizza outside on a sitting bench with the soda, not only did they do that , but they left a small note on the box giving instructions on how to warm it up if it’s cold by the time it delivers to me !!! Pizza Hut and papa johns would neverrrr do that!! These team members need a raise !!! Much blessings !

Having been a long time customer of this establishment, I called an order for medium sized pizza. Then within 30 seconds I called back and changed the order to a large. The person on the phone told me that they had taken care of my order. When I went to pick up the order, the person who claimed to be the manager told me that l had to pay for both pizzas. I explained to them calmly at first that I only wanted the large as l had changed my order within 30 seconds. This "manager" insisted that l pay for both pizzas. When l refused, they slammed the pickup window on me. I left and went to Tony D's and enjoyed a wonderful pizza. They lost a customer and l will tell my story to all l know when conversations turn to pizza.

Being new to the Jacksonville area I always make it a point of trying out local eating establishments. My daughter and I went to Marco's and got a large peperoni with extra cheese. I must say that their pizza is really delicious. The sauce and dough were good, and the extra was really extra. Our pizza was really cheesy and we loved it. The establishment itself was very clean and the kitchen is an open one so you can see that the kitchen was very clean also despite Marco and his employee being busy with orders. Pricing I thought was very reasonable especially with the raising inflation happening now. Please don't pass this place by. Their pizza is way better than the chain pizzerias.

The negative reviews are irrelevant and incorrect. 50% crust? Burnt pizza? WHERE?! Even the reviewers own photos disprove their nonsense I used to be a regular when I lived here and it wasn't doing well but I recently visited this location again and they have turned it around! Excellent service. The food was fresh and of great quality. Made to order. Under new management, this location has improved tremendously. The newer staff are working hard and it shows.

Anyone else get sick after eating here? After reading the reviews it makes sense because it seems like they don't have good hygiene practices. I ordered a pizza for me and my family. One of my family members decided to eat something else. That decision spared them a night of vomiting, stomach cramps and other gastrointestinal issues. Until this place fixes hygiene issues I would stay away. You gastrointestinal tract will thank you. Also I visited another Marco's and commented that this Marco's was so nice, big, exceptionally clean. The employee asked me where I usually order from, I told her baymeadows. She said that's a pretty dirty location.

Probably the worst customer service I have recieved when placing an order to be delivered. Im opening a business and there is no name on the building yet but I have an address . When I gave the person on the phone the address she spoke to me like I was stupid because there is no name on the business just yet ,, she then had a big attitude when I explained it to her and proceeded to tell me the driver wouldn't know where to go because they only have an address. After we hung up the phone and she took my payment someone else called me to tell me they don't deliver 5 minutes from where the pizza place is...wow I will never come here again

I ordered online for a coupon special. I look at the price I paid and did not receive the coupon. So I call them and let them know what’s going on. The employee spoke to the manager and sheepishly told me there store doesn’t honor that coupon so I come in store to ask for my refund and basically get told to take my pizza and leave by said manager. Manager did not give me any information on how to receive a refund or any of her boss’s information/corporate. I had to get a chargeback and on top of that they gave me the wrong pizza after I finally decided it wasn’t worth it anymore. Never received such bad service in my life

Normally 5 stars. But 3 based on most recent. This is the only pizza i get and have to drive 20min to get it. Get home to find out the crust was wrong, they gave me plain/normal when i ordered garlic/romasean. I ordered extra garlic and pizza sauce for every pizza box, received none, and added white sauce for half of one pizza, that was a no-show Basically every little detail was left out when they made it, most likely got charged extra for the sauces. The pizza is good by default which is why they got 3 stars, but for paying attention its 0. I know there must be new hires but get them to pay attention to detail.

Pizza is good. Kids like that the sauce isn't zesty like some places. Service is super slow. Teenagers working every time we have been. Couldn't be bothered to pick up the pace. I've sat at the pick up window for almost 5 minutes without being greeted on more than one occasion, even though there is an employee standing right there. Definitely don't value your business. Doesn't ever seem to be a manager there. Fine if you just need a quick pie on the way home.

Don’t order from this location. We placed an order online. Our pizza never showed for an hour and a half. We called the company and their associate told us our pizza wouldn’t be coming and all the delivery drivers were already out. We never received a phone call to tell us our order was not be made and the employee never said she was going to refund our money until we had to ask. Awful customer service. I would order from a different location they are not owned by these same owners. However we order from domino’s and our order was here in 20 minutes. Thank you Domino’s!!!!

I saw their postings on Instagram and it provoked me to make sure and get by and have a meal. I am laid off for two days, Due to a Covid-19 scare at work. So, our daughter came to visit today and we headed over for lunch. The bbq wings were just like I like them, good and crispy bursting with good bbq flavor and we ordered two deluxe calzones and one meat calzone for Ernie. We had three bottled waters. Nice staff, atmosphere, clean, and the food was delicious. I look forward to my next visit for pizza, salad or a sub. Veteran supported family ownership. Great job Marcos!

Absolutely horrible customer service waited in the drive-through 10 minutes for someone that acknowledged no one acknowledged me at all after that my. Order was incomplete they're saying they were out of Colozone Upgraded to large meat lover's pizza without my approval nobody wants to work. The customer service is horrible now. These days and marco's is a living proof of it will not eat at this place anymore and this is the second time I had a issue with them

These guys laughing and talking all over the food, not wearing gloves or hair nets. They think it's funny people ask them to wear these things. With covid and all this other stuff going around here. Come on guys respect the community you want to help pay your bills. We hungry and expect for you guys to care for the food your charging us to eat. Please do better be more courteous. Where your gloves and hair nets please and mask up. This was super un healthy and uneasy to watch with my own two eyes.

Pizza is amazing and the toppings are fresh not canned! I have never had bad service with them over the phone or in person! When we get it delivered they are always on time or early and driver is very nice. The prices are great and quality is even better! I honestly cant say enough about this place. They do have a dine-in option but do not have Fountain drinks. They have 2 liters and 20 oz Pepsi products with cups, utensils, plates and napkins if you need them. Parking can be a little tight if you have an suv as the parking areas are a little small.

*update* Customer service helped out tremendously with my problem. I ordered a extra large custom pizza and a large Greek salad. An hour and 35 minutes later I got my pizza it was nice and cold. And my sides were not included. I called several times and they kept telling me it’s on its way. Very disappointing considering I eat there quite often. They offered me nothing for my problem. Well I order from there again I don’t think so. I was not even offered a new fresh warm hot pizza like it supposed to be.

I have been to many Marcos locations in multiple states. I was disappointed in my pizza. It was about 50% crust! The portion of the pizza that had cheese and pepperoni on it was delicious, but half of it was dry dough. Employees were friendly and working hard, but the pizza was lacking.

My husband placed a take out order at this location for a large pepperoni pizza. We have never had Marcos. (I didn't eat any because I'm gluten intolerant & didn't realize they had gluten free options.) He said it was absolutely delicious. The customer service was top notch & when he went to pick it up it was very clean in the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Waited 3 hours for delivery, no show!. Called them and they said driver got lost and returned to the restaurant. Asked for a refund and they refused saying they could discount 20% and they would deliver another pizza. Waited another hour,.. no pizza. Called again and they said they lost our order. We asked if they would deliver another and they said yes, but they would charge us for the pizza. She then said your probably not getting a pizza tonight and hung up on us. See ya, Marcos. We’re done.

By far the best pizza I’ve had here in Jacksonville . I’m from Chicago, and patronized several establishments who vowed they had Chicago, and New York style pizza. We’ll they fell short. This is a new location on Baymeadows, hopefully they won’t change anything to cut cost, they will in my opinion have the title for best pizza in Jacksonville. Location was very clean of course, food was very fresh each time I visited. Staff very diverse and professional. Keep up the awesome service!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! They made the pizza wrong despite the clear instructions selected online. They came one hour later and we live literally in front of the place. My husband called over the phone and they didnt answer. He has to drive there and ask them fix it. There were 3 teenagers running the store and seemed they didnt care. They appeared again another 45 min with the wrong pizza and no sauce, which we paid extra for it. Never again! Wont be ordering there ever.

Best pizza that I've had in a long time. I rarely order pizza and was sad to learn that the Hungry Howie's on Southside Blvd had closed. I always see the Marco's pizza commercials so I decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. Wish they had a loyalty program or something because I definitely would make ordering a weekly thing.

Once again Marcos has hired incompetent help. This will be the last time I eat a Marcos pizza. Answering the phone like your answering your cell phone and your homies are on the other end of the line is not very professional. Having an attitude with your customers picking up their order is unprofessional. Disappointing in every aspect. Can't even take a simple 2 topping pizza order correctly. Order your pizza from somewhere else.

We order from Marcos all the time and have always loved it and have never had any complaints. Tonight there was only one worker running around like crazy and it definitely showed with our pizzas. It was rushed and so thin it tasted like cardboard And had large bubbles all throughout that were just hollow inside. This order was extremely disappointing especially when it’s located so conveniently in front of our apartment complex.

Ordered a 2 Topping Large for pick up. First time trying this place and I’ve heard mixed reviews. I must say the Pizza was excellent and the place looked super clean. The pizza was cooked to perfection. After I had paid I asked if their was a surcharge for an extra marinara sauce but the guy at the front desk gave it to me for free! Outstanding service and outstanding pizza! Will return soon!

I ordered online arrived at the time it said it would be ready and then had to wait over 30 minutes. After speaking with the front worker at about 25 minutes I stated I wanted my money back and I needed to leave, he proceeded to not give me my money back and just walked away. Only to bring me my pizza five minutes later. Why was I not allowed to get my money back? Really sketchy, watch out.

It’s really sad when you order a pizza and get it home and it is so over cooked the bottom is black. The top is burnt. Not the first time. I had quit ordering months ago and decided to try again. Never again. I am done. Many other options in the area.

The staff at this location are top notch! My husband & I had never eaten at a Marco’s before and from first stepping foot in the door they were all so helpful, courteous, and professional! Really above & beyond! The pizza was absolutely delicious!! We were pleasantly surprised all around! We are not from the area but this location really set the bar high for others! Thank you!!

1) We were never greeted. The older man just looked at me. I said are you ready. He said did you call in. I backed away and started to leave. I wish I had. I placed my order. He said 20 minutes. I left and came back. The worker walked from around the building into Marco pizza. SHE NEVER WASHED HER HANDS. I asked for a refund. She yelled at me. If I get her name I will update

I’ve ordered from this location so many times & never had an issue. I live 10 mins away. It took 2 hours for my pizza to be delivered. I called 30 mins after the tracker said it was supposed to be delivered. Girl gave me the run around on where my food was. Called to cancel my order 2 hours later & got hung up on. Magically my pizza showed up right after. Very disappointed.

Ordered an XL pie at 5:25 pm. Received at 7:30 The wed site is incorrect delivery time and when the site said out for delivery, was 30 minutes before it made the 1/2 mile trip. Had I know it was going take 2 hours I would have walked!

If you want your food destroyed, this is the place. Although the Manager was willing to deliver replacements, it’s apparently Marco’s policy that they charge a delivery fee again. I love their pizza, but this is not the first time my order has been demolished like this. If they can’t handle a delivery, they need to stop making it an option.

I LOVED IT! Remember when you were a kid and the best day of the week was pizza night? Its just like that! It was cheesy, hot, fresh and good to the last bite. Its not your italian mother's cooking, its delicious cheesy junk food. The staff are helpful and friendly too. I ate the entire small by myself. Go here your tummy will thank you.

Undercooked floppy pizza. Toppings and cheese slid off when I Picked the slice up out of the box. Either ovens aren't hot enough, wet cheese/dough/or watery sauce. Could have cooked longer. Photo is after the pizza sat and cooled for about 10 minutes.

New owners. Used to be a good place. No gloves or masks. The female manager at night refused to give me name when I brought back my two pizzas because they got my order wrong. Very rude and unprofessional manager and staff. Get pizza somewhere else. Very dirty kitchen. The old owners were much more professional and pleasant.

Also I asked them for ranch (called the restaurant) and the manager told me that they couldn’t give me a ranch with my 40 dollar pizza ! Horrible!!!! I ordered 2 pizza's 1 thick crust pepperoni that should be called puffed bread with no sauce and very little cheese.The 2nd was BBQ chicken with No onion that had onion and little chicken and a few bacon bits but the BBQ sauce was very good! I really wish I could post a picture. Ridiculous

This is My favorite place to get pizza in all of Jax! The manager is super friendly too. Real genuine person, you don’t find too many of those these days! They always have specials going on and I always end up getting more than I probably should but I can’t help myself. Check this place out!

OMG!!!!! I've searched for a Marco's near my home on Baymeadows and now the search is over. This place Is AMAZING, staff AMAZING, food AMAZING. Most importantly its owned by one of America's own servicemen. I will eat here at least once a week until I leave jacksonville. SUPERB SERVICE!!!!!!

Horrible service! When I arrived, the cashier was on the phone taking an order. She did not acknowledge me even after she hung up the phone after about 7 minutes. When she was finally able to take my order, she was rude and acted like I was interrupting her day. The food was mediocre.

Always been an alright place. Was fine till rep used same gloves to touch payment machine and pen everyone else touching and then didnt change gloves when going back to make the food. Hate restaurants with people like that. Starting to prefer to make my own food.

Used the app and it routed me to a store an hour away from me rather than the one around the corner. Found out locations can't transfer orders and Marcos isn't worth a two-hour drive. Won't be using Baymeadows, or any, location in the future.

If you're from the midwest missing those old world pepperoni this is the place! Up until Marco's opened we always missed pizza from back home. We always order old world pepperoni on their thin crust. Food is always fresh and delivered fast!

Ate Marco's pizza while on the west coast of FL so was looking forward to a store opening in the Baymeadows area. Was rather disappointed to see the cheese starting about 3 inches below the crust. Tasted good...just not enough of it.

We got a large deluxe and it was delicious! It was ready for pick-up in 15 minutes. I love that there is a drive-thru window which makes it way more convenient for me since I have my son in the car. The location is nice and clean.
