It was National Fried Chicken Day and so, I ordered before 11am for an evening curbside pickup due to our schedule as well as health concerns. The food was piping hot and great tasting once we actually got it. The issue is that it wasn't ready at the designated time and we had to call the store a second time after arriving on their parking lot. During the first call we were told it would be "at least 5 minutes"... Okay, that would be right at the designated time. But, we were still waiting when we called in again 5 minutes after the scheduled pick up time. This time we were told we would be included in "the next" batch. So much for my efforts in planning well ahead! It certainly did not appear that our curbside pickup order was prioritized to be on time. As a result, one of us didn't have time to eat properly before having to leave for a schedule appt. Please reassess how you handle orders so that ppl going in off the street are not prioritized ahead of scheduled orders. Hoping due diligence will be given to online pre-orders in the future!

I've always loved the taste of Mary Browns this is no excuse for their poor customer service they told us it would be 45 minutes delivery over an hour and thirty minutes later we are still waiting. When we called we placed our order for food and inquiried about what drinks they had available she said pop water or juice when we asked about the type of pop she said Pepsi and some others then put us on hold to go check because she didn't know. When my boyfriend called back to inquirie about how long it was going to be as we had been waiting over an hour she just put him on hold and never picked back up! I really do hope our delivery comes at some point as they do not take debit and I had to pay a fee to get cash back at the corner store! I'm deeply upset and will not be ordering from this location again the other location in Kingston has never given us a problem. Unfortunately on Sunday this was the only one open! I hope everyone else has a better experience than we did! (Edit exactly an hour 45 minutes later its on the way at least that's what they say!)

Mary Brown's has wonderful fried chicken, always has. Their taters are yummy, always have been. Today, I tried their taters poutine, and I really enjoyed it. Normally, I would not eat at Mary Brown's, because it is so. Unbelievably. Freaking. Overpriced. Their prices are so high, I'm fairly certain that their CEO decided to do it as a gag just to see if people would show up, and when they did, he just left the prices high. More power to him. Or her. Or whatever... I have no idea who the CEO is and I'm too lazy to look it up this moment. However, today was apparently National Fried Chicken day. I did not know that was a thing. But to celebrate it, Mary Brown's had a two-piece combo with taters $4.99, instead of the regular $13 or so. You can see that that made going there obviously a lot more attractive. So, on National Fried Chicken day, I give Mary Brown's five stars. The rest of the year, it only gets four.

I tried Mary Brown's Chicken for the first time about a year ago and enjoyed it very much. Everything I have ordered has been cooked well, served hot and tasted great. In my opinion everything on the menu is very expensive. I ordered a small coleslaw and it was not even one cup of slaw but was 5bucks. I can only justify going on Mondays when the big Mary sandwiches are half price. Not sure if it's just me, but it seems to take over ten minutes (sometimes as long as twenty) every time I go to get food, no matter the time of day or night. Other than the high prices, if you order things other that the big Mary (and only on Monday) and the sometimes 20 minute wait, fantastic fast food chicken restaurant.

YES! A hundred times YES! This unique gem of a place serves great fried chicken, gives absolutely great customer service and keeps this restaurant impeccably clean. Owner is hands-on, working hard while taking the time to ensure quality at all times . To find that kind of sincerity and dedication is rare and so appreciated. Big juicy pieces of chicken that are worth every penny! Quality and portion are both excellent. And then there's Dan who is the kind of staff person we all want to steal so we can hire him for our own business! Genuinely friendly, funny, professional and dedicated. It's like this restaurant comes from a by-gone era of pride in service and has materialized right into our midst! So, I'm making this one of my regular stops whenever I'm in town. Never miss an opportunity to stop and savour a great meal made by caring people!

Me and my wife love Mary browns. The food is great the customer service is usually outstanding but I went yesterday with my wife and the woman that was working was not representative of the kind of service I’m used to getting. I know that sounds kinda stuck up but bare with me. She was rude, condescending and being sarcastic in a way that I wasn’t sure whether or not she was mocking me. Like I get it we all have bad days but this isn’t an isolated incident. She was the same way a week or two ago when I went and she forgot my drinks and salad. When I went back in she acted like i was wasting her time and I heard her complaining about me to someone as I left. Overall not a good experience. But as I stated at the start the food is good the people are usually nice. To the staff of Mary browns: you guys rock!!

Went to this location two days in a row. Tried the Nashville for the first time yesterday - it was good. Generous size piece, wwa at very spicy, probably the next spicy one after the regular BUT it did taste like Nashville and was full of flavour (the Nashville Taters are even better for flavour too). I decided to go again on a Monday - Big Mary Monday is the true test to see how big the burgers are or if we end up with smaller cuts like some locations. Nope, this piece was bigger! I ordered through the app both times to avoid potential line ups and they had my food ready on time with no wait (which is convenient if you’re on a break from work). Staff are extremely friendly, quick and haven’t messed up my order yet.

The meal was fresh and delicious with generous portions. The counter staff is excellent and made the effort to let me know that there would be a wait of 10 minutes to fill my order - that was considerate and appreciated! The atmosphere is a little lacking, with only a couple of tables and a bench to wait for takeout, but the service and food make up for it.

Mike the bum says : its hard to get my daughter to try new foods... or even old foods done new ways... she has severe ADHD, so trying new stuff is a challenge... she likes KFC, so i said its 'like' that, but different flavors .... she carefully tested a small piece... and then rest of the chicken breast disappeared.... would have liked fewer wings, but the coleslaw salad was much better then KFCs salad... all in all, we will get it again...

This is my favorite fried chicken place. It's super greasy but the flavour is the best. No fried chicken is healthy so I doubt this is any worst. The "popcorn" chicken (they use a different name) is the best. And the taters are worth coming for alone (and the tater poutine is amazing). Only thing is the price seems to creep up everytime we go here. They need better specials because their regular prices are high compared to other places.

Wow! Since the 'other' fried chicken place is such a disappointment, I thought we'd never try eat fast food chicken again. But last night we caved and tried Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters. What a wonderful difference! Big, juicy pieces of chicken, not over-breaded, not greasy, and the most deliciously crisp wedged taters. We're certainly new customers that will be back again soon.

My husband and I were at this Mary Browns tonight (Decemebr 14th) and it was very busy! However the staff were amazing!!! They were so time efficient! With the amount of people in the store and lined up outside They moved quickly and were super nice! I know it was a crazy rush but They did amazing! Not to mention the food was hot and the order was right! Way to go!

I consider Mary Brown’s has the best fried chicken in North America. The chicken and taters in this location are great - it’s as good as the original restaurant in St John’s. they never disappoint. The pieces are big, unlike KFC. Staff here are very friendly. Washrooms are clean. 5 stars. ** such big pieces of chicken. Hot and yummy. Wedges are phenomenal. Best.

My family and I have ate Mary browns plenty out of Belleville's restaurant location but the Mary browns nearest to highway 33/ bath rd. Is the best we've had by far. Excellent service even right up to the car door with my food the gentleman brought it right out to my kids and I. Very tasty and delicious.... everyone must try this location.

Food was really good but they did not do a good job packing My to go bag putting Cajun fries on their side leaked all out as shown in pictures, that’s gonna leave a stain, hope they learn from this, and do not do this to anybody else. tried to clean it as best I can with paper towels, but I think I’m going to need a professional. The girl who worked on cash, named Emma, was absolutely amazing. The best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. She was very pleasant, kind and accommodating. Of all the different fast food chicken chains, this one is consistently good, and not greasy like some. Taters are SO much tastier than fries. They're always busy at lunchtime, but that just means that a couple minutes wait gets you chicken and taters that are hot and fresh without having sat under a heat lamp.

Ordered simple meal taters and tenders at 6:15pm Aug 16. Watched several customers that ordered after me walk out with same meal. 6:28pm finally got my meal. With the vast selection of food choices in Kingston you have to be better than that. Too many staff working simetime creates confusion. Wont be back.

Food is extraordinary but staff need to spot the difference between customers and drivers. I was there picking up my mobile order and ask for help and got told that need to bring my bag, I wasn’t even the driver and then i told them that i am picking my order which i placed on skip. Overall food is great.

Did online order for delivery after a day of work and received this, lettuce was so bad it had a smell and even after removing it chicken was tainted with the taste. Called to make complaint only to be called at 8 am and 830 the next morn and nothing done. Last time I attend or order from this location.

Havent had mary browns for years, got it for lunch today. Was very disappointed with the serving size. Price has gone up yet they give you chicken half the size it used to be with a miniature handful of taters... waste of 15 dollars, if you want chicken go to popeyes, last time I go here for a while.

I ordered delivery through Skip and had a minor complaint. The manager (or owner) called me back and personally went above and beyond to make me happy. Minor mistakes happen but the response was overwhelmingly positive. The food tastes great and the customer care is phenomenal. I highly recommend.

Amazing food friendly service and very clean! It's a bit pricey, but the quality of the food more than makes up for that! If you want cheap and small bits of chicken, choose KFC. If you like big meaty pieces of chicken with a delicious, not greasy crunchy skin, definitely check Mary Brown's out!

They are friendly, though they don't always have their masks above their noses, and the food is really good! I love their banana pudding! Now and then items are missing, but now we always just check our order in the car before we leave. I would love a drive through location in this end of town!

I was quite disappointed with this place.. yes it is better than KFC but that doesn't take much..I found it very pricy for the small chicken fingers combo and a 3pc dark meat combo it came to 29.00$ . the fingers were just ok but the dipping sauces sucked! the coleslaw was really good tho!

Staff are very friendly, the big Mary sandwich is Amazing! Huge peice of boneless chicken breast on a nice soft bun. The taters are a must Have! Cook just right crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a great spice blend. And the potato salad... all I can say is perfect!

This place has gone wayyyyyy downhill! The prices have been jacked up and you get less food. The food you do get has no flavour. So sad, I haven't had Mary Browns in a while and was really looking forward to it. I'll NEVER go back. Popeye's ... you have won my vote!

Normally have a good experience here, but this time I ordered a Big Mary Deal and was disappointed with the quality. No pickle on top and the chicken seemed overcooked. I didn't go back and complain because I had already arrived back at work.

Their Monday Big Mary deal is a regular thing for our family. Love the taters and our little one enjoys the Poppin's. It helps that she's was a fan of Mary Poppins (the movie character), and so Mary Poppin's chicken bites was a hit for her.

Great 4 piece combo, great chicken pop-ins. The young man behing the counter is energetic and enthusiatic and make people smile when ordering . Great sense of team work. First timer... Will be back! Thank you for a great experience.

Very good chicken sandwich combo. It was busy there today at lunch, but food was brought to us within a couple minutes. Its been many years since I have been here; exceeded expectations for a quick lunch.

Chicken to die for! The taters are best I have eaten. I really enjoy this place and never leave disappointed. I highly recommend this as a place for great value, quality and service.
