So I love massage envy in general ive been going for over 10 years to a lot of locations but i got a massage yesterday 11/27/23 that was just underwhelming. It was scheduled for 9 pm and i got there at 8:45. I had a pinched nerve in my neck so i really needed this treatment. My masseuse came out from cleaning the room at like 9:12 which i really dont mind the behind schedule. She brought me to the room to talk about needed areas. We did not start until 9:20 (which again i dont mind because i was assuming id still get the full 60 minutes). She was great but unfortunately she only did like half my body. Im not sure if she was distracted (we spoke the whole time which i usually dont prefer but its ok) so at times when she would be talking she wouldnt be massaging, which was frequent throughout. By the time she said ok thats all i only got my back neck and right arm done. I came in for a full body. I looked at the time and it was 9:55! For $125 60 minute session i basically got half of the time i paid for. I wish i said something to the front desk ladies at the time but I am not one to make issues i work in service myself. But now i am out $135 (obviously i still tip) my whole left side is out of wack. I am only putting this review up for management to see and make sure people are getting what they paid for because usually massage envy is great! Probably wont be going to this specific location again :/

I've been a member since 2018, and my mom even longer. I always got a monthly facial, and loved every single one I got. I couldn't say a bad word if I tried about my experiences with facials. I finally became brave enough to try the massages, and unfortunately had a couple bad experiences. However, I think it's all about finding "the one" because when I did, it changed everything. Now I make it a regular appointment. My go-to masseuse is Jean, and my go-to esthetician is Jennifer. They are experienced, thoughtful, and thorough. Of course this is all great, but the customer service at the front rounds out how fantastic this location is. Lori/Laurie (not sure how to spell her name, sorry!) is the BEST! She's personable, always has my best interest, funny, and kind. She makes the whole experience easier and better. Highly recommend to go here if you're in Tampa.

I’ve been a Massage Envy client for years. I’ve seen many different therapists over the years. It’s inexpensive and gets the job done decently enough. I firmly believe that you typically get what you pay for. So I don’t expect miracles or the same level of skill that is provided with private therapists or high end spas. Recently I have been booking with Joshua. He is next level. He exceeds far beyond any other Massage Envy Therapists or actually any other high end spa therapists I have ever seen. He has an incredible knowledge of the body and all of the areas that need attention. He is able to eliminate the pain that I have in my arms, legs and back all within 1 session and still provide an incredibly relaxing experience. He is well educated and able to explain home therapies that can be done for relief in between sessions. Can’t recommend him enough!!!

I got my massage from Jean who did an excellent job. I’m the type of person who likes to be in control of everything so letting go to this extent is never easy for me. However, it was so easy to do in this case as Jean does an excellent job of making you feel at home and relaxed. So much so that I kept falling asleep while she worked on my back. I don’t necessarily have back issues, but she worked hard to relieve the tension from that part of my body. She also did a great job on my feet, the part of my body that needs it the most. Thanks again to Jean and Massage Envy for a wonderful experience.

I have been getting facials from Jennifer for about a year now and she truly is the best there is. I’ve had facials at five star resorts all over the country and nobody beats Jennifer. She is extremely thorough and meticulous. Perfect at assessing what your skin needs. My forehead always had a crunch bar texture for literally YEARS and with her help I have a completely smooth face. I literally get compliments all the time now on how great my skin looks. I highly recommend, especially if you live in the area! Super convenient walk to the best facial ever.

The parking & location here is difficult there is a garage but but is also a residence garage as well. The location is on a side street not where you would expect it to be. My wife & I both had 1 hour massages she had normal & i had what was supposed to be Deep tissue. My wife’s was fine but mine was more like a basic rub down I didn’t enjoy it. They also started 5 minutes late and finished 10 minutes early so be aware not getting a full 60 minutes. The inside & staff were great but we will not be returning to this location.

Mason is top 3 most talented massage therapist I’ve in my lifetime. My wife’s been going to him for a few months for side lying massages her migraines have disappeared. I took her appointment this week and quickly realized why she has to book him a week in advanced. 10/10 would recommend. I’m a 240lbs former athletes with lots of issues and his pressure is able to get into the deeper muscles. I was able to roll over through out the night without my lower back or hips waking me up last night. First time in a long time .

I have been receiving massages and facials for more than a year at the Tampa downtown location. All the front desk and massage staff are welcoming and professional. Cheri’s facials are relaxing and executed with such care. Angela is both friendly and caring, and certainly gets the job done using the correct pressure as needed. My husband sees Andrew for massage and likes how knowledgeable he is with deep tissue therapeutic massage. We both plan to continue to come to this location for our massages/facials.

Jennifer created an absolutely custom facial experience for me. She took a great deal of time to go over my skin care regimen, my concerns, the things that bothered me and what I can do about them. She really tailored a wonderful facial for me and created a plan for my next facials. She was knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I walked out, feeling fantastic and my skin was glowing. I highly recommend Jennifer to create a facial regimen for you that you will love!

I've had the pleasure of receiving a massage from several amazing therapists at this location. Joshua has amazing knowledge of Anatomy and gives a great myofascial massage. Angela does incredible deep tissue work, my hips never feel better than when she's worked on them! Andrew does fantastic deep tissue work, as well. He's very knowledgeable about sports massage and trigger point. Marie gives a wonderful Swedish Massage and I love the way she integrates stretching into the service.

This was my first ever massage and I am so glad I didn't chicken out. The massage therapist I received was very professional and helped walk me through the process. The place was very Zen like. Nice calming music. The gal, Jean that did my massage was gentle yet firm on me. She also did a special sugar rub on feet...wow it sure felt good. If you have lots of tension in your body they will pinpoint it and rub it away. Go to this place, you probably won't be disappointed.

Marie, is the absolute best there is. She’s very attuned to the body and what it needs! I’ve had shoulder issues for over 10 years. I went in for a relaxing massage and walked out being able to move my shoulder as she used KT tape! First time someone listened, advised, and addressed. Angela is heaven sent. She has a sweet spirit and is always pleasant. Her massages are soothing and have helped me throughout this first pregnancy so far. She makes sure I am comfortable and spends time on the areas that bother me along with making sure I still get the full body massage. I love Angela as my masseuse and as a person! She is wonderful and I always look forward to seeing her.

My first time at Massage envy was a great experience. I was help by Angela at the Downtown Tampa location. She was amazing and assisted in making my scheduled appointment go well. Had my first massage with Shawn yesterday and really enjoyed it! He was kind and courteous, and made sure to be mindful of all the areas I marked as not consenting to massage. My back had been bothering me for months after a move and new job and I’m so relieved that my back feels less tight and knotted. I booked a second appointment with him and look forward to it!

This was my first visit and Iris was amazing! She greeted me at the door, got me all registered and did my hour and a half massage like a true professional. This was a great experience with Andrew. I told him this is my second time coming to spot Indy and that he had big shoes to fill since my first experience with the first guy. Andrew definitely apply the pressure that I needed to find relief with all the stress in my muscles. I definitely recommend him if you're looking for someone who could get the job done.

Angela is amazing. I was going to cancel my membership last month, but I had the pleasure of meeting Angela & she is awesome. I’ve seen her twice now , and she really help me with my fibromyalgia. Whatever she did made my hips feel incredible. She definitely knows what she’s doing. So needless to say I’m not canceling my membership.
