I had previously been going to another local place for my massages and felt the quality of the massages and the staff had been deteriorating over the years. I had driven past Massage Studio before and had seen friends of mine check-in there on Facebook. My experience at Massage Studio has by far been one of the best massage experiences I've had to date! The staff genuinely cares about you and takes the time to understand your needs and problem areas before starting the massage. Extra time is built into each appointment to allow for a consultation before the masseuse begins the service. I love how Massage Studio takes a holistic approach. My massage therapist was Emily and she is top notch!!!! I've already booked my next appointment with her and I signed up for the membership to continue going back regularly. I suffer from regularly occurring knots in my shoulder area. Emily's massage was not only helpful for my pain points but she also took the time to explain my problem areas and what she was doing as she was going through my session. She is such a delightful person! I also enjoy the complimentary add-on's that Massage Studio offers. With each massage you can choose your preferences for oil/lotion, fragrance, pressure, type of music. They do everything possible to make you feel as comfortable as possible, which is not always the case at other places.

My therapist was Ari and my friend’s therapist was Samuel, this was probably one of the worse massages we’ve ever gotten. We were in town visiting so we wanted to relax, the service we received was horrible (the girls at the reception desk have the worse attitude - Joanna being on of them). We left this place feeling worse than we came and we were both VERY specific on our paperwork in regards to what services we needed and why. I asked Ari to focus on my neck and shoulders, she did the opposite. Spent the entire time massaging my legs and arms in which I didn’t need. I had to ask for a pillow my neck encountered major discomfort. Also , you pay for an hour however you only get approximately 40 minutes. I was told after the fact they leave 15-20 minutes for questions in which I had none so I was shorted for no reason. All they cared about was collecting a payment and that is NO WAY to treat a customer. I will not be coming back and I informed my friends and relatives about this place as well. For the price of services, you all should be providing top notch care. You cannot afford to have attitude and not care to understand the issues.

Not a great place for scheduling / what they communicate / management. I was told I had 8 massages in my account (I’ve been going for over 2 years and have spent a lot of money here, and that wouldn’t honestly surprise me). I said okay, and I scheduled out my appointments with them. After spending a lot of time scheduling with them, they told me a couple days later that their system wasn’t working, and that I only had 2 in my account. I said - okay, guess we have to cancel the appointments. Confusion as a result of this led me to missing an appointment (no text reminders like other places) and getting charged, despite them having messed up the scheduling to begin with and wasting my previous time. I cancelled my membership today. Massages are great, Management is weak, but if that doesn’t bother you, go. They lost a frequent customer of 2-3 years because they couldn’t correct their mistake today.

I had a good experience with two massage sessions, that’s the positive side of this establishment. Unfortunately on the 3rd visit I was told upon arrival the appointment was made at another location which I’ve never been to. I explained the appointment was actually made at the Tampa location at the receptionist. The story then changes to: there’s a glitch on the computer and then the masseuse hasn’t been working there for a few weeks and they don’t know why I’m scheduled. Since there was no additional solution offered, at that point I said no problem, may I have assistance with another masseuse? No, no one was available for another hour. No offer was made to alleviate this waste of time. I decided not to reschedule. I know everyone makes mistakes, but the lack of availability to accommodate after being a timely client was really a bummer. Like I said, the service itself was good, be weary of lack of reliability if time is important to you.

I love this spa so much, I’ve been going to this spa since 2018! The massage therapists never cease to amaze me! I went to get to a massage today, and my only concern is that nobody was wearing masks. Not the receptionists at the front desk, and my massage therapist wasn’t wearing a mask either. They used to wear masks when I go get a massage. I don’t wear a mask when I get a massage, I take mine off when I’m getting a massage and my concern is when I turn around to get a scalp massage, and a neck massage and the massage therapist isn’t wearing a mask. I feel more comfortable if the receptionists, and massage therapists wore masks. It’s just safer. I will always be a loyal customer to Massage Studio! Everyone is so sweet and welcoming and they always take care of me!

I recently visited Massage Studio (Tampa location) for the first time and I had a great experience! I got a deep tissue massage from Marlene, and she did a fantastic job. Everything about my experience exceeded expectations. It was such a relaxing and calm environment. As a first-time guest, they have you fill out a form indicating which type of music you would like playing in the background, which complimentary scent you want sprayed in the room, and which area(s) you would like the therapist to focus on during your massage. Marlene applied the perfect amount of pressure and gave me tips on how to fix my posture to help relieve some tension on my back. I will definitely be going back to Massage Studio, and I would highly recommend their services!

I usually go and see Kristen who does a fantastic deep tissue massage. Highly recommend her! I’ve had significant neck pain these past few weeks and made a last minute appointment and was lucky enough to get Katherine. Hands down the best deep tissue I’ve ever gotten! I’ve tried other massage places in and around Tampa and no place compares. They are very professional and their massage therapists clearly know what they’re doing and how to help alleviate your pain. Been coming here for the last 6 months and it's been a huge help for my mental and physical health. I hold a lot of stress in my shoulders and have bad posture, which is a recipe for lots of pain. I've had a few different therapists and every one has been great. The building is clean and relaxing and each therapist has taken the time to ask me about my needs, address them, and spoke to me afterwards about what they found. The "membership" is extremely reasonable in cost and is cancelable at any time and you retain your "credits" so it's really just prepayment with a discount, so it's a great deal and since it automatically charges it helps me to remember to schedule regular massages.

I am usually not one for massages, but was having some lower back discomfort. I scheduled a Swedish massage with Amanda and she was wonderful! She addressed all of my lower back concerns and asked me throughout if the pressure was comfortable. I also appreciated that I was asked a scent preference, which is almost always lavender for me. They also offer Biofreeze and CBD oil if it’s something you want incorporated into your massage. I'll also mention that on Mondays, they offer discounted Swedish and Deep Tissue massages to active duty military and their spouses! In town vacationing and both my husband and I needed massages after the long flights. They got us in last minute for a morning massage and were very nice while scheduling over the phone. My husband did a therapeutic massage and I received a prenatal massage and we have not stopped talking about how great they were! The studio was very clean and the staff as amazing. I would like to highly recommend Massage Studio. I started going to Massage Studio for 6 months ago-following a problem with my neck and physical therapy. The facility is really nice inside. Tranquil and just what you would expect in a better studio. I have been going to Marlene for several months now. She is the BEST. She is a good massage therapist- asking patiently before each session about muscle and joint issues. Even better, she is considerate and professional and I compliment her.

I’ve been a member of Massage Studio for over 3 years and I’ve always had a great experience. I’ve had several regular therapists, and they’ve all been wonderful. Their studio is clean and relaxing, offering different types of music for your massage. I also love that the include aromatherapy for no extra charge like other places. They have taken a lot of extra safety measures during COVID, so I feel safe going in for my massage every month. I would highly recommend this studio.

I’ve gone here for years. Generally, clean nice facilities, nice staff and knowledgeable massage therapists. I joined the membership for cheaper overall massages and to get monthly massages. The availability for masseuses has been terrible, and I don’t have a specific masseuse that I go to. I go based on availability, so I’m flexible. Due to the lack of masseuse availability, I canceled my membership. I would advise against getting one, and going a la cart if you go here.

Eric is the best! I was lucky enough to have Eric be my massage therapist for my 60 min Deep tissue appointment. It is always a pleasure to have a therapist with super strong hands and technique. Plus be very personable & knowledgeable while also being able to put you at ease is the best of all possible worlds! He made me feel heard on my issues and zeroed in my trouble areas. Went in with a lot of tense achy areas. The ladies at the desk greeted our party with a smile, reviewed our forms and got us ready for our experience. Lunsford was amazing! He understood firm pressure and applied himself to the task of working out all the knots in my upper back/shoulders. This was my first visit to Massage Studio and I have to say the overall experience was beyond my expectations. I walked away from Massage Studio Tampa feeling 1,000 times better than when I walked in. Bruno was my massage therapist and he did an amazing job. Tending to my body's needs with the deep tissue massage while being cautious and conscience of my pain tolerance. My only complaint is that I cannot take him home with me to be my personal massage therapist for my severe issues as I have scoliosis and extreme hip issues. Thank you for your service. Whenever I'm in Tampa I can guarantee I'll be back.

My wife and I have been members for close to 2 years now I think. Great service and usually a good variety of times available depending on if you want a specific therapist. My wife and I are both usually deep tissue or therapeutic which is just a blend of techniques. I have had a few favorite therapists that leave or are no longer available which stinks but I can find a new one pretty quickly.

Excellent massage with Kay. She took her time to listen to where I was sore and focused on those areas. I haven’t had a massage in a long time so she eased into the deep tissue portion but was communicative and found the perfect balance and pressure. Very skilled therapist. The facility was very clean and the staff is very professional. I look forward to returning soon for another appointment.

I've been a member at this studio for years and have always had a great experience. At my most recent appointment, Luna made me very comfortable and made sure the table warmer, foot pillow, music, aromatherapy, and pressure were all just right before and throughout a therapeutic massage to help me relax my neck and shoulders. She found all of my trigger points and gave a great massage.

I have been coming to Massage Studio for the past 4 years and I always leave feeling GREAT. The other day I had a new massage therapist, Kay, who was ~amazing~!!!!!!!!! I had a massage from TJ recently and even though he is new, the session was just a great as any other there. You can tell they put a lot of effort into training their therapists. This is a membership based massage salon. Plus side is they can usually get you in the day before! Down side is you usually get a different masseuse each time. You can request someone of course! The massage was great. Except the sheets and the robe were smelling bad. They asked me for fragrance that I prefer and I choose Lavender but The oil they used was smelling like grease. Massage was great tho.
