Came in here to dine with my husband and son and of course we over ordered. We got the Ensaymada burger which had the sweet filipino ensaymada bread as the bun with a beef patty, cheese, siracha maple bacon & rocket topped with more grated cheese ($14). If you like that sweet and savoury combo, it would def hit that spot. We also got the 3pcs BBQ sticks for $15. This is pork marinated in a sweet filo concoction and basted with more sweet sauce. Paired with the papaya pickle, this is a winner. Next we had the FFC rice bowl. This is Filipino Fried Chicken served with infused coconut rice, atchara (pickled papaya), mang tomas sauce and filipino banana ketchup ($16). Lastly we had the Chicken Adobo loaded fries and it was so damn good! This was a slow cooked chicken marinated in adobo sauce (vinegar & soy with lots of garlicky goodness) on a bed of hot fries topped with onion, shallots, chili, peri peri and aioli sauce ($12). I really wanted their halo halo dessert but there was no way I was going to be able to fit another spoonful in... So I'll just have to come back next time. All up we spent $57 on those plus my sons kids meal. Good value as it was filling and they were generous with their meat toppings. There's limited parking right infront of the store and inside the shop is quite roomy if you're coming in with kids/pram. It's nothing flash but let's face it, you're visiting for the great food not necessarily for instamoments. Next door is Tee-Lish Brownies.. But that's for another review.

Have always liked Mate Burger since they started off as a food truck. Burgers are tasty and the meat patties are cooked nicely - never dry. Adobo fries are also good. The only gripe I have about this restaurant is that, unlike the food truck, the customers are sitting down for a meal. But there are no restrooms and nowhere to wash your hands. I always expect there to be a restroom for patrons in a sit down restaurant. And upon asking staff, they only think there is one further around the corner and it probably needs a key to use, so technically there are no restrooms anywhere. And being a restaurant, they don't offer table water. I think if you're going to have a restaurant, you need the basics for the patrons. Otherwise just stick with the food truck. Apart from that, the food is good.

My partner bought a Double Beef burger (don’t exactly know what the name is), Taho and barbecue skewers on the night of 27/08/21. The service was rather slow and the food took longer to be served than expected. Given the benefit of the doubt that it might be busy and all as well as lack of staff from the current unfortunate situation. The food on the other hand was quite disappointing. The beef patties were very dry and almost not edible. The pearls in the Taho were mushy and it was old. (also it would be great if your pearls actually fit the straw). The whole order was also very expensive and expected better food that what was served. I hope this review will not be taken wrongly but rather a constructive criticism.
Poor and slow communication and service. Pork belly is always dry and not crispy. Bbq pork sticks are ok, but the last time I ordered via menulog to pick up, I found when I got to the restaurant that they cancelled the order and refunded me, because they had sold out. The somehow sold out too within the store being only open for 20 mins so far that day. They have long ways to go to be a good food joint. They need to improve on their communication, service and consistency of their food quality.
Have been a few times now, and it has never disappointed!! Food is cooked fresh. Great chips, friendly staff, and nice n clean! Will be back again for sure.

Worst customer service. Ordered by menulog and when my order arrived it was wrong when I called to get it sorted the manager would not get on the phone instead had what sounded like a trainee tell me that I had to come into the store which I was unable to do or I had to make another order. Cost me $33 for a burger and fries that I didn't want. Go anywhere else

Easier to get to the place if you are driving than walking from the train station. Some items in the menu are out of stock. Burger tastes normal as what is expected of a burger parlour. Could not think of anything special to keep me coming back. Also I suggest providing a normal fork rather than a spork for customers who want to use utensils to eat a burger. Having service water available to customers would also be a good idea.
This joint has gone down hill. Limited menu and the double ensymada burger patties were overcooked and meat did not appear to be fresh. Have never had an issue until today; have always ordered from this location at least once a month. Hope to see a comeback but there are definitely other burger locations that I will rate over this one right now.

Food is great, although a little pricey. Unfortunately, their Bella Vista store has closed and making the hike to Mt Druitt is a little far. Haven’t eaten in so can not comment on the atmosphere.

The hype of these burgers were more exciting than the food. Customer service was poor. Overly priced. Waited 40mins for average, warm burgers!! The loaded fries were spared with toppings. Definitely won’t be buying again, didn’t find this food truck special at all. Waste of money and time.

I've always wanted to try this place and when finally did, it was a winner! I ordered the yummy FFC burger with a side of chips, added some bbq as well and finished the meal with refreshing halo halo. Burp! What a treat! Definitely coming back and getting the gang together next time.

This was a surprise, hidden in the back of old Mt Druitt. My son took me for dinner and the food was spicy, tender and extremely delicious. I definitely recommend a visit to Mate Burger. I had a rice bowl, this had chunks of crispy pork on top. My son had a steak burger with pork and a box of chips with tender meat and chili's. Great food for a rainy evening.
Work organised the Mate Burger truck for our Christmas party, couldn't recommend it enough. The burgers were juicy and delicious, sides were very complementary to a big burger and really good too. The service was fast and friendly and they did their best to make sure everyone was happy. Thank you.

If you loved them as a Food Truck, you'll continue to love them as a restaurant. They make great burgers. I liked the rice bowl as well but it's lacking something, perhaps some green veggies. The pork is the best in the West, with that awesome crackling! Them Filos know their Pork! But they need to add a little sink or some wet wipes!
Food is good but they never answer the phone to make the pick up faster. And when I go in there no reason why the couldn't answer the phone. The other problem I've had here is that they don't seem to know what sause there putting on the burger.

Gourmet burgers here. American & Filipino infused style. I had the Shroom burger. Had a big mushroom in the middle. Not bad. Friends had the pork Adobo & Lechon burgers. A local named burger called Hey Mounty is on the menu too.Burgers start from $14. Spaghetti, BBQ pork sticks, rice dishes also available.
Regardless, dine in or take away - the service and the food always tick the boxes! Friendly staff and delicious food. Henry has been always accommodating when I’m ordering over the phone for pick up. I feel that I’m always being taken care of. Keep up the great work guys :)

Awesome place for a quick burger and fries. Great taste to the burgers. Serves of fries are big. Got the cheese and bacon covered fries, easily enough for 2 people. Pic is of the special fried chicken between 2 hashbrowns buns. Chicken was juicy and tasty
Edible, but not particularly pleasant. For starters placing the burger in with the chips ensures a very greasy mess. McDonald's is quite superior in quality and taste and is significantly cheaper. They really need to raise their game.
Awesome burgers, only wished it wasn’t so far. Came here with 30mins to close but they were kind enough to let us finish our food before we left. Fast & friendly service with creative use of filipino flavours. Keep up the good work!
Service was good, food was ok/ordinary... They did however have a Filipino's answer to a kebab snack pack with the chicken abobo loaded fries!!!

Tonight was my first time buying from Mate Burger, OMG, I had the Phillipino Chicken Burger and it was to die for. The chicken was so soft but also crispy on the outside. The best burger I've had in years!

Nice burger, loved the soft bun, good serving of chips, But i did find a hair in my chips, which the young lady was notified about. Shame, hopefully it doesnt happen to a more picky customer
Food is excellent but the service is very poor, missing items in order twice!! We realised when we got home and had to go back and wait again for them to cook it.. very very disappointed!!
Price vs quality wasn't good. I just really wasn't impressed with what it was hyped up to be. My filo wife had the lechon, which was just pork on rice with banana sauce. Pretty tasteless
Love the lechon rice had it a couple of times. Halo halo is perfect for the summer! Adobo fries is delish! I call ahead so my order will be ready when I get there. Thanks to Mate burger!
Really enjoyed the food. The range is excellent. I had a burger with the sweet bun and it was beautifully cooked and super tasty. Staff were nice and friendly and the prices were fair.
Great service. Nice and friendly staff. Excellent food. Will definitely be back for multiple feeds! Burgers are wicked

A delight for Western Sydney! This Filipino inspired burger restaurant is a must try. Quality of the food and customer service is second to none.
Lechon loaded fries. Get in my freaking belllllleh. Love the twists on American foods these guys do. Wish they were closer to Campbelltown
Best burgers in Western Sydney. Their Lechon burger is totally amazing and their mate Burger is sensational. Delicious.
Got a late lunch from here while visiting Tee-lish next door. The pork belly rice bowl is so good.
Food was really good would have to recommend the ffb some of the best fried chicken I have had
