I was in the area for work and found myself in a pinch as far as lunch is concerned. Figured I would swing through here and give it a shot as I had never been to this location before. The staff was friendly and helpful but, I couldn't find myself wondering why it was taking as long as it did to get through the drive thru. It was just myself and the vehicle in front of me but it took nearly fifteen minutes to get my hands on my food. Typically I'm not pressed on time but I didn't have a large window for lunch and couldn't linger too long. Otherwise all in all if you're looking for a bite to eat I would definitely say stop by this location. Update.. Stopped by this location as I was in the area, I wish I had chosen a different path to food today. I walked in because the app wasn't working and I could not prepay for my order, not the end of the world. I wait at the counter for about five minutes, no one comes to help so I try placing an order through the kiosk, however the kiosk won't let me pay for my order and I end up waiting a few more minutes to pay for it at the counter. As time goes by I start to wonder if I'll have any time left to enjoy my meal. Answer, No. Eighteen minutes go by before my meal makes it into my hands. My order you ask? Double cheeseburger, Spicy McChicken and a large drink.. so I eat as quickly as I can as I have five minutes left to eat, make it back to work late as a result. Will not be stopping at this location again as it takes way too long and I'm better off spending the extra cash at other establishments.

This is THE WORST McDonalds! The Hispanic older lady who works in the mornings has zero customer service skills. Extremely rude. I bought separately through my phone a Diet Coke, a hash brown and a breakfast sandwich because there was a deal. I get to the window and she says #2 with a Diet Coke. I didn’t order a number 2 so I was confused so she tries to give me a different order. I tell her my Diet Coke was large and explained what I ordered and she said yeah a number two like I said and shakes her head. The other day I went there and I ordered in the online order section because the previous day had taken 15 minutes in the drive thru and I’m sitting there for over 10 minutes. I finally go inside and my order is just sitting there getting cold. She’s ignoring everyone up by the front register and one lady says I’ve been standing here 10 minutes can I have the rest of my order and the lady just ignores her. Ridiculous. Then one time I go through drive thru I get the same lady (older Hispanic lady) every time and she fails to give me my card back. I have to come in the next day to get my debit card back. I called the night before and the lady on the phone that evening was very nice and helpful and I wish I got her name because she was great, but I come in the next morning and the lobby doors are locked. I finally get let in and it’s chaos. She finally gets me my card but then tells me I have to leave so she can lock the door. This place is in need of a major management change for the morning crew for sure!

I just had the worst experience that I have ever had at this McDonald's in Cave Creek. There was no one waiting for service in the restaurant. I walked in and was ignored by at least 3 counter people. One was standing at a register talking on her cell phone. She walks away and a few minutes later announces that she is on break....."but she'll take my order." A second girl walks over and stands there wanting me to pay for my order...... I had not been given an amount! The first one laughs and tells her $6.05. I pay and begin the wait. 5-10 minutes go by and the second one asks the cook if my burger is ready. His response....."when I get the time!" I wait another 5 minutes; nothing is happening, so I ask for my money back. The manager comes over and offers a partial refund because they had made my shake (10 minutes ago) which is still sitting on the counter. I'm done waiting, just want my $6.05 back! She tells me that is the wrong amount. I tell her that is what the other two charged me. The manager very begrudgedly give me my $6.05 and as I'm walking out, makes a very rude remark to my back. I turned around to ask her to repeat what she had said and she just turned and moved back behind the front counter area. Because I spent a lot of time on the road, I frequent many fast food establishments..... I have never seen such a rude display of bad service ever. This is not the first time for bad service at this location, but by far the worst. I can accept a lot of youthful misjudgement, but something has to be done to solve this kind of problem.

Used to go here a tone when I worked on Tatum and Cave Creek. But looks like after they had a remodel they got a few new staff. That are rude , and have no personal accountability. Last two times they missed my order up, than proceeded to argue with me that I was wrong and didn't order what they missed up. When I nicely offered the person to look at my receipt, they refused to look at and gave major attitude, they did fix it but when the food was given that they forget it was cold. The second time it was the wrong size fry, they gave me cold soggy fries that made my stomach upset for 2 days put it G rated. I miss there old staff that was very nice and pleasant and took personally accountability and apologize for miss up.The missed up part my receipt had the missing items on it and second time read large. Also the guy in the drive thru made it seem like he hated his job and was on something. I would recommend going her druning the week whole highschool are I'm school. For the fact I went on a weekend in the evening it seemed like they were new highschool, and they will close the window before you check your order and are very rude. It's best to go drunning the week or in the early morning because the staff is a lot nicer, better food, fresher food, and they are respectful. The morning crew and druning the week crew ( when high school are in school) I give them 5/5 's. There high school/night crew I give the 2 to 3 's . I understand they're young and probably they're 1st job but you catch more bees with honey....

This morning a little after 6 am I attempted to visit this McDonald's to get some breakfast. After sitting at the drive thru for 8 minutes there was no response and the lights were on-restaurant appeared open as I saw 3 different people walking around. But no one came to the window. Even after I knocked and clearly they saw me. The Mgr then comes to the window and when I ask why they are not answering as I have been there for 8 plus minutes she proceeds to tell me I am rude and they aren't open ( mind you their hours say they are and they have no sign up saying they were closed for any reason) and how I should leave. When I ask for the GM contact information I was given a dirty piece of paper with a name and a disconnected phone number. AWESOME customer service. So awesome in fact that despite this being the closest McDonald's and the fact that we spend a decent amount of $ there each week I will never go back. Having a bad day doesn't mean you can be rude to others and when you are in a managerial role you should always have your best face forward. Big fail McDonald's. If that is who you want representing you I don't want to have anything to do with your restaurant- there's a perfectly good Jack in the Box across the street and they understand customer service-not to mention they never screw up my food.

Food quality and wait times are on par with a typical McDonald's however my issue is how they handle the drive through. I tend to visit during off peak times, or rather I won't visit if the drive through has 10 vehicles sitting in line. On at least 5 occasions I have been waiting at speaker to place order when another vehicle pulls up to empty lane and employee immediately takes their order. After the other vehicle is done ordering and pulls forward usually the same voice will then take my order. I just dont really understand how they dont have a system capable of determining the proper order to take orders. To some this may seem trivial but it really annoys me and am always left wondering how this issue has not been solved. Also slightly annoying to be asked to pull around to front of store to wait for food when there are no other vehicles behind in line, that also confuses me but I suspect it has something to do with artificially lowering average wait time numbers that are recorded and monitored by corporate.

Good location, I love the set up of the dining area. And they still have one of the kids game computers. I love playing on those! I've always had such great service at this location! Their self check out is always working great and they are willing to fix anything that's not available, and do it with a smile! Love this location

Such a special thing just happened to me! I was in the McDonalds drive thru of this store and told the kid working that I liked his shirt, and I said, “but the shirt I LOVE is that Camp McDonalds shirt! I’d love to have one of those, I even looked online to buy one.” I went on to tell him how I worked at McDonalds all through high school and how much I loved that job, it taught me so much, and I made so many friends. And just then the manager walked by and threw a shirt out the window at me!! I was so shocked and happy that I started to cry. I’ve had the worst year of my life this year, and to have someone surprise me like that was so special! THANK YOU, MCDONALDS MANAGER! You made a worn out mom feel pretty happy today❤️

1/21/22- yall i don't know why this location has bad reviews. i leerve this location. i did a mobile order around 9am and damn were they slammed but they are so efficient!! and nice too! i lived in south phx and lemme tell you those were some bad-review kinda places. been coming here for a few months nothing wrong other than common mistakes. sh*t happens, they can fix it. 11 a.m. 11/22 Monday Morning- 1st drive thru payment window. younger employee with long dark blonde hair? im sorry, i have a horrible memory anyway, she is super sweet and funny!! i ordered "no damn sauce" for my kids chicken nugget happy meal and she had a great attitude with joking about it with me. she was accurate quick and really kind! please do everything in your power to keep her! oh and our food was spot on too

I order the same order every day through the mobile app and I even hit the I am here button before I leave to pick it up. I am asked to wait in the drive thru parking spot every time just because they never pre prepare the items and it's a huge waste of my time I give ample opportunity to prepare before hand and everything and I still end up having my time wasted. I thought this was fast food I'll just make my own breakfast if it's going to take the same time anyway. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Edit: staff just continues to amaze me at how lazy and incompetent they are. Every day I am asked to park in the drive thru spot ordering 5-10 minutes in advance for 3 breakfast sandwiches.

Ordered my nugget meal at the kiosk and was greeted with curse words from the staff behind the counter as they joked and laughed with each other. When I spoke to manager about the inapproapriate language she did nothing. I told her to speak to her staff now to correct their behavior. I always wanted to work for McDonald's since I was 9 years old back in elementary school in 1994. I worked at this location for 7 years without fail. I started on Feb 6, 2014. I was Employee of the Month in October of 2014. I enjoyed working here. also they gave me a free birthday cake on my birthday. I enjoy Airbus A320's and Yamaha Receivers as a hobby. McDonald's has always had my back on everything I did here without fail. Overall, this McDonald's has always had my reputation as my favorite restaurant and employer.

2 days ago on friday 8/20/20 at around 8-9pm i had went to this mcdonald’s to get a mchicken and a small pepsi. i opened up the mchicken and the entire thing was covered in mayo. it was fast i’ll admit, but what’s the point in being fast if it’s going to be sloppy? to the manager of this store, do better. let me add, there were only 3 people total at the drive through. there was someone in front of me. by the time they left and i was at the window, there was someone ordering at the microphone. so really, there’s no point in even rushing things. one thing i can assure you, i will not be returning. if i do return though, and i deal with this BS, i’m throwing hands omm

The food is nasty here had a McFlurry and the after taste, tasted like a chemical got sick had it today for lunch and the chicken sandwich wasn’t even good either old oil. What’s going on? I have a heart issue so I hope that the McFlurry didn’t poison me. So gross. Took the food back and they said they couldn’t do anything because they are closed around 12:30 pm. Not sure why there’s still workers if they’re closed. I get you guys got power outage right after we all left. But, you can make a hand written statement. Called cooperate. Just hope I’m okay. So sad . Clean out your guys machine & oil more often! Can lead to major food poisoning.

Have lived nearby for 3 years, every single visit here the food is not fresh, soggy fries, dried out over cooked chicken nuggets. Service was ok. Disappointing the machine tells you to take a number and have a seat someone will bring it to you. Then your number gets called and you are expected to go get it and they don't have everything. Then my chicken patty was burnt, I had to put my chicken burger together as my lettuce was thrown to one side and the tomato to the other side and the extra bacon i paid for was all broken on the bottom of the box. Bun was half off the burger. Disappointing lunch.

Some reason today 7/14 I eaten half an egg shell in the McMuffin and all they did was give me a replacement. Very disappointing. 8/10/22 expired milk in happy meal. 8/17/22 expired milk in happy meal again. 8/24/22 raw beef in burger and rotten milk in happy meal. Lived around the corner from here for 10 yrs. They almost never get the order right. Tonight their sign clearly has a special on it that they refused to honor at the window. Horrible... Horrible, horrible, horrible. This is the absolute slowest McDonald's on the face of the Earth. The only reason I give it one star is because I can't give it negative stars. If you go through the drive thru be prepared to wait 20-25 minutes in line. You could actually go to a nice restaurant, sit down, order your food and eat it before you would even get your food at this McDonald's. I don't know if it's because of the management, the workers, or both. Regardless, there are a bunch of imbeciles running the place.

For good food fast, nobody beats McD's! I love their Egg McMuffin and hash browns- lots of breakfast love that you can hold in your hand! This particular store had some problems this morning. Not huge volume on the drive through or in the lobby but the staff seemed to be ignoring the lobby customers, and they seemed to be GOOD at ignoring the lobby customers (like maybe they get a lot of practice at it). Too busy for the staff they had maybe. I finally left without ordering.

Couple complaints - 1. The doors were closed at 10pm (said store hours were until 11pm on the door and online), so only the drive thru was open. 2. The employees were listening to completely inappropriate and offensive music very loudly (saying words like p****, n word, etc). Listen to whatever on your own time, not while working. Food was fine (it's McDonald's, hard to mess up). Think the managers may need to talk to their employees. Will not be coming back.

Had to ask the guy taking orders in the drive thru to speak up, ordered two plain cheese burger happy meals and when I got home one cheese burger had everything on it. They asked me if I wanted a girl toy or boy toy with the happy meals. I told them boy toys.....but they managed to mess that up to. Needless to say my two boys did not have an enjoyable McDonalds experience. Not the end of the world but I'll be double checking my order the next time I visit this McDonalds.

If I’m paying $3 for a large orange juice (size of a medium fountain drink) you’d think it would be all orange juice right? Nope. I got an orange juice this morning before work and it was at least half water. Very disappointing first/only sit of that drink. Overall the management here is just awful and they never seem to try to keep customers coming. If I ever come back it’s only gonna be to complain. Don’t go here! They do a S*** job at making food.

I love the technology at this McDonald's. You can order at one of 4 kiosks. It makes it simple to get through the line. It also has a technology area for kids to play while you order and wait for the food. We did show up at a busy time and got our food rather quickly. They do need to go through the dining area and clean the tables, floors. And drink area more. The employees were friendly and helped us when we asked.

The older gentleman that works there is alway so pleasant and helpful. He will go out of his way to let me know not to worry when my special needs daughter starts yelling when gaving fun. I keep taking her outside and he lets me know i dont need to (im trying to teach inside voice) it is nice to feel welcome even though she can get loud, even though i choose to try to be respectful of the other people tryingtoeat

Thus time even worse. 2 burger paties is not a quarter pounder. Again 20 minutes to get 2 smashed hamburgers and a coke. They are consistently the worst McDonald's. At all times of the day. I understand being crowded, but when you wait that long the food should come out as intended. It was clear from the fingerprints in the buns they were rushing.

Been going here for a long while now, honestly can't say anything bad about the place or even the people that work there. Everyone there has always been really friendly and nice, and you know, come to think of it - I can't remember this place ever messing up my order either. Either way, if your ever in the area and stop by - it's always a cool spot.

This McDonald’s is a Joke. Every single time I come here my fry is half filled up it’s a ripoff .I’m sick of being robbed blindly so I thought I would share. Always a friendly staff. Always smiling. Mistakes are made but are rectified. It's McDonald's and it's par with all of the other McDonald's in terms of food. The service here is friendly and delivery is fast. If there is a delay it's because they're making the food fresh and one has to be willing to wait sometimes. All in all great experience.

Can I make this review zero or half stars. If possible I would. This is the most disgusting McDonald's in the world. Went to buy my kids pancakes at night cause everything was closed. When we got back to the hotel and opened them they had already been bitten. They literally served my children pre eaten food. Absolutely horrible.

The manager Michelle is awesome! If I'm ever missing something she helps me and I've got to say I choose this location just because I know I'll be taken care of. The negative reviews must be the Californians who expect food service workers to be robots that read minds ; place and workers are great even during their rush period.

If I can give this place a zero Stars or even negative Stars I would management sucks and actually gives you an attitude for bothering them when you expect them to do their job. If it doesn't want to help the inside customers they should just shut down and become a drive-through strictly.

I do everything I can to avoid this location, unfortunately every few weeks I take my chance and always spend at least 20 min in the drive thru. Slowest drive consistently. They wait to take your order to "pad" the drive thru times but realistically I have never been thru the drive thru in under 15 min, usually at least 20 min

It's a Mcdonalds, what do you expect? It isn't trying to be anything more than it is. You don't go here for a 5 star meal, you go here for fast food. They do get my order right whenever I go, which is rare for a fast food place. Good job, guys!

Easy access, friendly staff, always busy. Only kicker is when you feel rushed when ordering food. I got my kids food but before I could get my order in for myself the guy cut me off and gave me my total. Otherwise food was cooked good no complaints since it was only a few things.

Horrible. Just got back to my home. The large fries were filled, no joke, less then halfway and my daughter is also missing her apple juice from her happy meal. Not the first incident but will be the last. In and out it is next time and every time. I will not return.

Yet again this location has blown the order. The only good thing about this location and the crew that works this shift is that they are consistent. Very consistent in ALWAYS getting the order wrong. No wonder they work at McDonald's

Went throuh drive thru and employee that took my order at drive thru never said the McDonald greeting to me. At the window he didnt speak. and likewise with the 2nd window clerk. Food and trash in the drive thru in lane. How nasty!!

Wouldn't go to this McDonald's again everything I do they like to short you on everything you order. Specially on the fries you'd think the cooks were the ones buying them avoid if you can. Manage also don't care when you complain.

Worst McDonald's location I have ever encountered. Bad attitudes, poor service, and mistakes on drive thru order.

The manager Michelle was so rude, I have never had such a horrible customer service experience in my life. It is astounding that she is a manager. She would continuously interrupt me and was just overall very VERY rude.

Great service, but out of the last 10 times I've been there 2 of my orders were messed. I'm really not a picky man, so I never said anything, plus there are worse places to go in this town. This McD's is among the best.

I miss seeing the beautiful blown glass they use to display but the restaurant is always neat and clean. The counter service was very pleasant. Can't go wrong with a sausage Mcmuffin with egg and a good cup of coffee!

I wish I could give zero stars. I order online at 10pm. Store is open until 11pm. I get there at 1015pm. Staff refused to give me food the store was closed with all the lights off. Thanks for stealing 15 bucks. More

The food is fine, but this location takes forever. The lines just don't move. They need to ask the location on Cave Creek south of the 101 how they are so fast.

Two cars that arrived after we did had their orders taken before ours. The total wait time was rediculous. They need to send the large orders around to the front to park. Time start to finish was over 17 minutes. E

So slow. Has two drive through lanes but didn't use them evenly when taking orders. Also tried to not give me fries with either meal that I got. I had to request the fries at the window and show receipt as proof.

Super slow service. Drive through takes 30 minutes. They don't do all day breakfast like most McDonald's.

Ordered regular burgers with extra pickles and ketchup... received 3 with extra pickles and mustard only... shouldn't be that complicated. Katchup is red not yellow. More

Always hit or miss with fries. Either great or soggy and gross. Good overall for food though
