Well, not to be negative, but the location at Clearview, near me in Harahan / Elmwood, La. area, it sucked. 1.)No sense of verbal greeting / hospitality. •Though it's not "fine dining" still, the courtesy of proper verbal acknowledgement is a texture of etiquette which always represents a level of professionalism in any restaurant / food, store or business setting. Corporate needs to visit over there as as many other locations throughout New Orleans and the overall state and reset the importance of customer service etiquette. 2.) Poor presence even on the floor. •So as one employee made his way from behind the counter to the restroom area, he eXtrA-passively mumbled: "You have to use the kiosk". - ....Slightly thinking to myself: "GeeSH!!!- Nothing else???" and kept walking- no "Good Evening, Sir." nor anything close to it. 3.) Horrible dining temperature • The temperature inside the place was ridiculously freezing. I and my two friends were originally going to dine-in to enjoy some "ambiance" but that was "instntly cancelled." I mean ....Not to over-exaggerate, but it felt like I was in the doorway / threshold of the meat freezer / cooler. But I can say, it all made sense when I realized that their quality of etiquette matched the uninviting temperature in the restaurant.

I went to this McDonald on last night and I had rewards so I asked for a fish sandwich out the grease with extra tarter no cheese and a wild cherry icee the gentlemen taking my order was awesome so I placed my order proceeded to the window and paid so when I went to the pick up window the young lady had the worst attitude ever so i over looked it but it was horrible I than received my bag but than I was told after I e already paid that they was out of the wild cherry icee so I than asked for a refund on the icee the young lady that was at the window told someone in the inside give this woman her money back which was rice the way she said it than I heard someone say ask her do she want another kind which I believe was the manager I than stated no I don’t drink coke and no I don’t want it than the manager responded well it all taste the same which was rude again so I did receive the refund which was slammed in my hand very unprofessional than I left the sandwich was dry the service was horrible after waiting in this long line it just was horrible I wouldn’t recommend this McDonalds ever

They never get your order right as far as customized add ons or things you've asked to have taken off. I have an onion and onion allergy they still put it in my burger, I ordered a double cheese burger for my kid with no bun they gave me two plain patties on a plate. Another time I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese no onions for me, a big Mac meal for my husband and six piece nuggets for my daughter. They gave us both quarter pounders (fully dressed) and no nuggets. Like I said check your food every time because when the young teens and You're adults are in the kitchen and working the window they never get it right. Of you do durning the day early morning it's a group of matured women working and I've had no issues with my orders then. Unfortunately if I go it's mostly last minute fast meal so I'm stuck with the horrible evening crew. Who screw up everyone.

2022 revision: service has been way better as well as the quality of food. [Old review] This was one of the worst experiences I've had at this particular location. The whole process took about 35-45 minutes. My food tasted like it had been sitting there the entire time. Luke warm fries with too much salt. Quarter pounder meat was lukewarm without any taste. They forgot something so I waited by the window. When she came back to the window, she opened it and just stared at me. I told her the forgotten item. Without a word she closed the window. Eventually someone walked away and returned with the item. Really should have given 1 star but because I frequent this location and have had plenty of great experiences I kept a star.

Went to this location sat in drive thru 2nd lane 10mins & nobody acknowledged me & did not request to take my order. The 1st lane was moving, but I sat there & waited (like a fool). As I drove off I called & asked to speak to a manager, but that was a waste of time. He basically offered to do nothing. I just said I'll make sure to call & report this to corporate. What gets me is these people do not realize that they are about to be completely replaced by the self checkouts & computerized kiosks, because they're tired of getting complaints of foul attitudes from the employees! I don't expect much from McDonald's, but if I come to a window and you tell me I can't get my food unless I place a mobile order because that's the only way you can do it, and then I place a mobile order, and pay for it with my card, only to be told that no one is there working by the same person, I get annoyed, I verbatim asked you "So, if I place a mobile order I can get my food?" and you said "yes", but then I did the thing you said I needed to do to get my food, AND paid, then you said that it couldn't be done, that's just a blatant lie and I don't like it. Just say you can't do any order, why lie and make everything more annoying?

So we ate at this McDonald's this morning and we needed to use the restroom. The mens restroom was very dirty and unsanitary. There was fecal matter all over the inside and outside of the toilet and all over the floor. My wife and daughter used the women's restroom and it was also very dirty. On a positive note the cashier was very polite and professional! Food was good and didn't have to wait long for it, even though they were in the middle of morning rush.

My order was taken at 10:08. I didnt receive my order until 10:27. They appeared to be fully staffed, I could not understand why it was taking so long for my order to come out. I received a biscuit with no cheese, and hashbrown. I was already in a hurry to work so I couldn't go back to have them correct it. So they got a dollar and some change out of me. Cashier & 1 other lady in front cleaning were nice. We were given a # for our food to be brought to us. One of the people in the back made the comment she didn't have time to bring food out. Didn't hear our # called. My husband finally went and asked for our food. By that time my pancakes had started sticking together. They weren't hot enough to melt the butter so it had sat there awhile. Worst experience at a McDonald’s ever. All we wanted was three waters and apparently no one can read because they lied and said they can’t do large ice waters with a machine when we could clearly see it was possible but they’d rather charge us almost $6 for three bottled water. Then, only ordering three waters, we had to wait even longer because I guess bringing it to the first window to get us out of there faster was too complex. Not to mention the workers were rude. Overall worst experience ever at a fast food place. Nothing fast about it.

Went through the drive thru late at night, got home and my order tasted terribly stale and it was wrong. I didn't think to call at that time because of how late it was. Called the next day and the lady told me she wasn't willing to do anything for me because I would have had to call that same night and bring my food back to replace it. I've never had to bring the food back when they messed up in the past and I've called the next day before as well. Felt like she didn't want to help. Definitely not going back to the same McDonald's anymore

You absolutely get the freshest hottest food from this McDonald's! The wait is usually long but the wait on Bullard is longer and the food at Bullard will always be cold. So go here if you are in the east. You will get much better quality of food and service!

BEST MCDONALDS I’ve ever been to. I always say I’m going to leave a review when I leave here but always forget. They have the best service, quick drive through, hot food, & their ice cream machine is ALWAYS working. The only McDonald’s I trust to go to! I know I’m always going to get what I come there to get. Even when my food took a while one time the manager gave me a little something extra for the wait very nice hospitality at this McDonald’s! I’m LOVIN it

Attitude is unbelievable, the drive through workers were very rude, the manager was okay but need to make employees talk to the customers better, then they had the nerves to have missing food, after rudely saying everything was in the bag, if they cant handle the pressure of fast food they need another career choice. I know sometimes rude customers can set the tone for employees but they should learn not to take that frustration out on the other customers

The worst McDonald’s ever. The entire over night staff needs to be FIRED. They have an additude problem and do believe in skipping people in the drive through if the customer doesn’t say anything to them first. After a hour line wait. . What happened to “thank you for choosing McDonald’s how may I take your order “ instead I get, “ go head with your order” . As a former employee of a McDonald’s I know how to operate McDonald’s. And food is never fresh.

I used the kiosk to put in my order, paid for it with credit card and got a blank receipt. So I went to the lady at the register and after checking around told me my order did not go thru and to do it again at a different kiosk. So I did as told. After waiting for quite some time they called out for my first order. So I told them I wanted a refund. What a production! The supervisor got onto the girl at the register as if it were her fault.

This was your normal everyday McDonald's, I went through the drive through everything went smoothly didn't take any longer than 2 minutes and it was during the longest time of the day for breakfast. Everything in the order was correct and the drive-thru attendant was polite. It was pretty convenient to get on and off the interstate at this McDonalds so if you're traveling through and just need a quick bite this might be a good option.

For some reason this “24 hour” location isn’t actually 24 hours. Between 4am-6am you can’t order because the “system is down”. Clearly a directive from whomever is managing during those hours because up until the past month or so this hasn’t been an issue. Basically if you work grave yard shift or early mornings you have to pass this McDonald’s up and go to the location a few miles away that has no issue serving you like they should.

No stars ordered 4 meals gave my food to person behind guess lady doesn't know 1 comes before 2 , brought me 2 meals instead of 4, ask me for receipt ,wait another 10 min. Then brings out 3 meals instead of 4 wait another 5 min. Now person that paid for 2 meals behind me got 2 extra meals me on the other hand got 4 meals but waited over 20 min. And didnt get anything but some nasty cold sitting food.Never going back.

McDonald's is more inconvenient with the kiosk machines now. The line are longer and it's becoming slower daily without a person at the front counter.

Too much playing around. Cashier was showing something on his cell phone, all of the workers laughing while I am waiting to be served and another customer is constantly asking for ketchup while being ignored. I was tired and hungry and ready to walk out and else where. My experience was not good. All I could do was shake my head. It was about 9:30pm Wednesday night. Customer courtesy does not exist anymore.

It was okay. It's McDonalds. It was a Sunday morning. The only thing really disagreeable about it was the music that was playing, & you had to mark that up to cultural standards. It was evangelical white gospel music. Yuck! If I have to listen to gospel music, I want it to have some soul! That's why I gave the atmosphere one star.

I'm editing this review (I gave a 4 star 4 years ago). I can not believe how degrading this location has become. I literally gave the same order (for 2 items) 4 times in a row. The attendant asked my order 2 times in which I still had prompted her "Do I need to order a 3rd time?"... she asked a 4th time. Needless to say, Their current review is a 3.4 is not surprising.

The food was cold. I ordered a big mac and when I got home the burger only had one beef patty and the bun was up side down on the big mac. I tried calling and they wouldn't even answer the phone. My son got 2 hot and spicy and they were cold and spicy. We couldn't even eat the food. 20.00 down the drain we had to throw it away

Cheap food never tasted so good. Affected byt the hurricane so hadn't had a hot meal for a couple days with our power being out and of course our propane tank was empty as well. Go figure. So this stop in particular was very, very satisfying.

Very disorganized staff, arguing amongst themselves. I ordered a meal, was given a burger and fries, no drink, had to purchase the drink separately. My son ordered the 2 cheeseburger meal, one of his burgers had a long black curly hair in it. Thankfully we were only passing through, we won't be back.

I was thinking this was a nice location until it took 10 minutes to get me a coffee while a customer who ordered afterwards got his order in a couple minutes. Then I realized they have no power to their outlets all over the lobby. These ones even had USB ports. My phone died ...

A lot of employees but it seemed really disorganized. I always go inside to get my food and it wasn't that busy to justify what can only be described as chaos behind the counter. While it took time to place my order it took longer to get it. (One-2 cheeseburger value meal).

Location is odd, getting in and out. Facilities seemed quite clean. No one to take order, one of the employees told us to use kiosk...I hate the ordering kiosks! Food came to our table in reasonable amount of time. No other complaints. Bathroom was fairly clean.

I dont know if they were overwhelmed by the volume of customers. But i gave my order 3 times and they still got it wrong. My husband took it back and they said i wasn't charged for one of the things i ordered. The service is horrible. Wont be going back there.

I truly only go here because my 6 year old will only eat happy meals. I can't stand the smell at any McDonald's. The minute a window opens, the putrid odor pours out and makes me nauseous. As you can tell, I hate McDonald's.

Haven’t had McDonald’s in years. Decided to get a McDouble. It was extremely dry. So nasty. I still enjoy the hot cakes and sausage. I got that on a later day. The burgers are trash.

They put meat on a sandwich we specifically asked to leave off, they didn't even try to mix my McFlurry, and then we had to pull out of the drive-thru to wait longer for our order.

We placed our order twice at the drive thru. Nothing came out correct. NOT. ONE. THING. They even neglected to give us straws so we had to go back, walk in, and get straws! More

Was in the drive up for 20 minutes and no one every came to take any orders. Employees were inside and someone was eating inside, but the doors were locked.

It was pleasant. The manager went out his way this morning to make my grandson's day. It was too early for Happy meal, so he offered a toy with his breakfast. How sweet!!!!

Fries were old and overcooked but the service was great.

Service was extremely slow. Coffee came out quick. Mostly conversation going on between 4 staff members with no sense of urgency. Hash brown was cold waiting.

Just ordered a quarter pound with bacon and got a normal quarter pound. I paid more for less. How is that possible?! Disappointed for this kind of service.

McDonalds was very clean, personnel was friendly. Food was hot, and the inside was welcoming. Order was correct and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Kim S.

This is one of the better places as far as fast food in New Orleans East. They have a pretty good staff.

We followed the steps for 2 for 1 deal and this McDonalds refused to honor the deal!

Depends on the day.... Some times it good just been a while....
