"From the first time I visited McDowell Dentistry I knew I had chosen the best place for all my Dental needs! I recently had to have another molar pulled and prepped for a bridge! The tooth was out in one second and after the anesthesia wore off, I never had one second of pain!!! I never needed a pain pill ! It was almost like nothing happened, but my tooth was gone! Dr"
I made an emergency dental appointment for an abscess tooth and was able to get in right away. I was already in considerable pain and had a good deal of swelling. The nurses were unable to take x-rays because of my swollen and infected jaw. Dr. Marsh spoke to me about the procedure and assured me that I would be completely numb but would feel pain after the extraction of a broken wisdom tooth. After two shots of novocaine, the procedure began and I still felt pain and screamed out “Stop Stop Stop!” Before he would stop extracting the tooth. Dr. Marsh seemed annoyed and gave me two additional shots of novocaine and explained to me that I was at the legal limit. I allowed him to continue a second time. He jammed the tool into my infected gums and began prying my back tooth out. I was screaming for him to stop four times and crying. I know it was four because he was counting one, two, three, four, as he jammed the tool deeper to pry out my tooth while I could feel the tooth cracking. He finally stopped and I was uncontrollably crying and shaking. He wanted to continue and I told him no. I sat in the chair for 15 minutes while the office was calling for a facility to get me relocated for a sedation appointment. In a brush of compassion, Dr. Marsh came in and said, “I’m sorry we couldn’t meet your expectations.” I was still inconsolable and after another 10 minutes I went to the front desk and said I would be going to the emergency room as they couldn’t find anyone to take me in. I left sobbing in pain. It was one of the most painful and traumatic experiences of my life. To add insult to injury, in their onboarding paperwork it asks if you’ve ever had a bad dental experience before. Whatever your previous experience, you’ll answer that question with a yes after visiting Dr. Marsh. An hour later, I was able to locate a fantastic practice. The doctor that I met with was shocked that someone had tried to perform any work in the condition I was in.
Family has come here for about 2 years. Things were successful with the previous dentist. When we went in for an appt. last week and things at this office have changed. The dentist we had she is gone and now it's a new one that we are not comfortable with. During the middle of a fill, the dentist stopped and said he would be right back. 32 mins later he comes back and said he had an emergency with a patient. Really no worries about that, yet he could have just told us that was happening instead of leaving abruptly with no notice. We booked another appt at Biltmore and the dentist there, said the fill done by this dentist was wrong! --and so we have to go to a specialist to redo this fill. Omg... and on top of that the receptionists are overcharging us so we are dealing with that and our insurance. We used to love this place but it's a total mess now and too much going on in the waiting room, and not enough superior-care for patients. We are fulfilling our last appt. and going to a different dentist. thx.
The hygienist in consultation with dentist refused to allow me to not have X-rays as I wasn’t comfortable with them while pregnant (there are varying opinions on this and it should absolutely be my choice). I requested to just have a light cleaning and was told that this was against the law and then when I questioned that was told they could lose their licenses which is a bunch of bologna. How dare you not allow me to make my own medical choices for me and my pregnancy and lie to me telling me it’s illegal and you could lose your license from giving a light cleaning. Times are tough and I’m sure you want every dime you can get but what you are doing is completely unethical. Patients have rights too and you don’t just get to steamroll them.
I am not a fan of the dentist but coming to McDowell road Dentistry has been an extremely pleasant experience, at every appointment i have had there. From the inviting and informative front office staff even remembering my name, to the knowlegable dental assistants and the most caring and gentle doctors I could ask for. I'm here to stay! I will never again have an uncomfortable nor painful experiences at the dentist again. Thank you so much to the entire Mcdowell road dentistry staff! I suggest everyone goes here at least once! Especially if it's for your child needing dental work or a simple cleaning.
From the first time I visited McDowell Dentistry I knew I had chosen the best place for all my Dental needs! I recently had to have another molar pulled and prepped for a bridge! The tooth was out in one second and after the anesthesia wore off, I never had one second of pain!!! I never needed a pain pill ! It was almost like nothing happened, but my tooth was gone! Dr. Ajoub is truly one of the very best dentists I have had! And, being the daughter of a dentist, I should know! I will trust McDowell Dentistry and Dr.Ayoub with all my dental needs!
Beginning with the pleasant welcoming received upon arrival, McDowell Road Dentistry has provided extremely pleasant, informative, and positive results. The secretary; please excuse me if your title is different is wonderful, in exam room, the care received is superb, accurate, and professionally handled by every employee of McDowell Rd. Dentistry. I must thank the entire staff for your kindness and caring for my teeth. God bless you!!!!!!!
Was recommended to come here for a crown but when I called & spoke to Adrianna (or whatever her name is) she was very rude & did not seem like she wanted to answer any of my questions & was quick to hang up the phone. I understand you can’t give me exact pricing but I’d like an estimate since I’m paying out of pocket. Just from the phone call, I’m avoiding this place.
Dr. Marsh personality is awesome. Made pulling teeth fun lol. Definitely recommend. Babysitter cancelled on me last minute and when he seen me stroll in with my 2 kids first thing he said was make sure she’s taking care of and help her with the kids! I Loved that! Although they sat there very respectfully while I got my work done it was very considerate!
I felt so happy with Dr. Klein attention. He was professional, polite, and gorgeous with me. He did the treatments with high quality and the procedures were explained well by him, so I recommend him to everyone. If you want an high odontology attention you have to go with Dr. Klein. Thank you. Great team.
Out of all of the dental offices in the Phoenix area - do yourself a favor and never go to this one. Terrible scheduling issues. I called to schedule a broken filling to be repaired and after a cleaning they said they don’t have time. I came in pain and left in pain and they didn’t care.
Dr. Klein is a dentist with amazing talent. I'm very happy with the work he has done for me. The office staff is pleasant and easy to work with. The prices are reasonable. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality dental work.
Came here after my last dentist was giving me the runaround and cannot say enough praise. Admin staff and medical staff are both so nice and most importantly very competent and helpful, I recommend this place highly now
