I discovered this off license recently. My first interaction was by phone a few months ago. I'm properly gluten intolerant and I enquired about gluten free beers. The gent on the phone went through all the options so I went down to buy some bottles. The next time I called a few weeks later I was again given lots of information and time and good manners. The gluten free beer that I like s in short supply (everywhere) and they hold it for me whenever I call. I want to particularly praise a member of staff called James. So nice and generous with his time. Why can't other businesses in Ireland whether they are restaurants, bars or supermarkets understand that good service means repeat business? This is why I will drive a few extra kilometers to McHugh's instead of going to my nearest off licenses. Some other businesses haven't a clue.

I was in this off licence earlier this evening. I rang looking for a specific whiskey as a present for someone. The lads in store were super helpful. On top of that they were able to give good insights into certain beverages with good humour mixed in. As a business owner I believe customer service is very important and the team in there this evening gave exactly that. I have shopped there before tonight but I will be more in the future. Well done lads.

MC Hugh's very nice place for all different vintage wines craft beer the staff are well trained in this very helpful we call that customer service excellence boys.and girls u are in still lock down because we do not want to get this C19 but MC Hugh's have the answer they will bring it to you drink sensibility regards marc

Great local off licence with friendly knowledgeable staff. Along with the usual mass produced stouts, lagers and beers, you will find an impressive range of IPAs, stouts, sours, craft beers and pilsners from local and international small producers and micro breweries. They also stock a great range of wines and spirits.

The best local store with a variety of beers, ciders and other drinks. There are even quite unusual, but tasty types, such as smoothie sours, ice cream sours and the like. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. I recommend visiting

It's a good liquor shop. Have a lot of varieties for beer. Also have a good collection of wines and can get good brands of whiskey. Friendly staff. Do very good offers mostly and have fridge for chilled beer. …

Great local off-licence. Great stock ofall types of wines, to suit most pockets. Great choices & some good "alternative" or upcoming Country wines. Really friendly & knowledgeable staff helps give this place a solid 5!

They always have a fantastic selection of craft beer from all over the world at reasonable prices. The staff are very helpful and always happy to recommended something new. One of my favorite off licences in the city

Hi guys I do not recommend that you shop in this place the manger is rude and to the owners of your shop you need to sent that manger to a refresher course on customer service very bad for business he's a disgrace

We really enjoy going to Mc Hugh's and exploring their great selection. Frank is so friendly and helpful and really goes out if his way to offer advice on beers, wines and ciders to try! Definitely recommend!

Honestly the best experience I've ever had in an off license. A very helpful and really sound staff member helped me prepare a great gift for my brother. I'll definitely be back. Excellent selection to boot.

Fantastic selection of craft beers and some great offers on smaller cans. It's rare that an off licence would carry such an extensive range so I'll be sure to return when I'm in the area again.
