On April 25th of this year (2022), I bought a Buick Enclave from this Company. I cannot complain about the salesman that intermediated the negotiation, because he is a very kind person. About the other departments, I cannot say the same, first I asked for an evaluation of financing on the site, but I did not have any answer. I called McWilliam and was told that first was necessary to choose a car to then find out about financing. I went to MC William and choose a car, I had to pay the deposit to them “save” the car for me. I was really interested to buy it, but then it would depend on the interest rate and the monthly payments that would be offered to me. Interesting if they got a company that would be interested in lending me the money and I did not agree with the prices I would lose the deposit, it does not seem fair, but at that time I did not realize that. I got financing with high annual interest. But my complaint is, when I called them to check about the prices, Ms. Tiffany told me that she could not tell me over the phone, just in there I would get the prices and would be able to decide. So just with the contract printed and ready to be signed, I found out the annual interest rate and at the same moment, without any time to think I made the deal. Thinking today seems that the entire situation is prepared in a way to make you buy the car without thinking too much, there is no transparency and a lot of pressure, once they will tell you the financial plan just with the contract on hand. But the worst part is that they sold me a car that after just 6 months of use (and low use, because it is not used to go to work, and it is parked during the weekdays) had its engine blew up (now I need to replace or rebuild it). And not just it, after 1 month of use I had I problem with the air conditioning. MC William has its own auto service and the car was reviewed before being sold so weird situation. Run away from this place. Better run away from this place!

My husband and I have had a very frustrating and odd experience at McWilliam Auto. We initially bought a ford we really liked and had an excellent experience with Devyn and Tiffany. Immediately after purchasing we began noticing issues and were scheduled to go in to have the vehicle serviced just 3 days later. This didn’t happen because we found out the car facts had not been honestly given to the lender (the vehicle had been in a major accident, likely the reason for the issues we were experiencing) and our financing was denied by the lender. We were sold a different ford which was driven out of their shop with 16km to empty… Since getting the second vehicle we’ve had to get it serviced twice for issues which should have been fixed by them before selling it. Driver heated seat not working, wheel alignment, needed new wiper blades, and suspension issues. The service we received during the sale of the first vehicle by Devyn and Tiffany was great but the service the next 2 times by Tiffany and the other salesmen was terrible. In my opinion they had the sale so they didn’t care about us anymore. Tiffany had the nerve to tell us they wouldn’t sell vehicles with issues but we had 2 vehicles in 3 weeks from them both with problems. And to sell a vehicle with 16km to empty is subpar by industry standards. Upon picking up the vehicle the second time from service we were told to go to ford for a second opinion.. Not the service we received initially at all. The 2013 red ford explorer we initially bought is still currently listed for sale despite Tiffany saying it was “unsellable.”

We bought a Nissan Murano in February. Brought it home and wanted to plug it in and discovered there was no block heater. There were a few things that needed repair and they were added to the bill of sale and they did the needed repairs like the air, sunroof wasn’t closing, back windshield wiper didn’t work. They also added a block heater after I contacted Ore, he was very pleasant to work with. Since driving the vehicle we have found a few more things that we will need to repair like the cruise control kicks out when we hit a bump, and the back latch doesn’t lock. On the way home from getting the air and block heater added and repaired the Murano broke down 12 miles from home and it costed us a tow to the repair shop and $816 in repairs. I gave a two star review because Ore our salesman was very nice otherwise I would have given a one star. It is now September and we continue to have problems. Also after someone dented my door in a hit and run, I made an MPI claim. At the Autobody business I was asked about an older open claim. It was from 2020 and before bought the vehicle. Turns out it had been stolen off of their lot and recovered after three weeks. I wasn’t told about this when I purchased it and frankly wouldn’t have gone through with the sale but technically they are not required to disclose this information. I have changed my stars to a 1. 0 isn’t an option. Added info one year after the vehicle purchase. We have had to spend $1700.00 in more repairs. Both control arms, wheel bearings, axle seals.

The 30 day warranty is just a pile of empty words, totally useless. The sales experience was fine, other than an odd insistence on also showing me vehicles other than the one I came to see. I was told that the vehicle I was buying had a 30 warranty. At time of payment, it was explained that because it was a used Dodge and they had problems with engines and transmissions, that wasn't covered by the warranty. Three weeks after purchase I had the vehicle taken back to the shop (a 2 hr drive one-way, I live out of the city) with a tire pressure sensor that had stopped working, a heater fan that was squealing constantly in the cold and traction control warning lights on the dash that wouldn't go away. It was explained that the tire pressure sensor wasn't covered under warranty, the heater fan worked just fine (in the warmth of their shop) and the dash lights were a fault of an under-voltge state, so they just reset the codes. A total waste of time and gas. So, what could the warranty possibly cover, if it doesn't cover big things like the engine or small things like a tire pressure sensor? Zero points for follow through on their promised after sales service.

This is the kind of place that gives used car salesmen a bad name. Looked at an SUV, and the defrost didn't work (only kinda essential in MB winters). Mentioned it to the salesman and he already knew about it but didn't bother to mention it. They had the car for weeks already and it was "safetied" but they didn't bother to fix that or tell us about it? What else do they hope customers don't notice? Plus when we asked how long it would take for them to fix it if we bought it, they said it would be a quick fix and only take a day!!! So why wouldn't they just fix it before selling it??? And then they wouldn't even budge on the ridiculous asking price. They 100% take advantage of people here. Unless you are savvy with used cars, and know what you're getting into, go elsewhere.

Worst experience! Avoid this dealership! Got to see a RAM listed for a price, and one of the staff showed it to me briefly in the lift (was in repairs for safety), and requested me to return later to be able to fully check it. On my return, after his call, he simply increased the value of the RAM by 3000 CAD, and it was clear to me that he had already sold it to someone else, because he was not even interested in selling it to me, using excuses. For instance, he told me that banks are not approving financing to someone that doesn't have a PR yet, which is not true. Important to say that I have a full job as software engineer and have good credit score (he doesn't even asked on what I work before telling me it wouldn't approve).

We were very pleased with our experience at this dealership. Our salesman, Ty, was very pleasant, friendly, and professional. Despite being very busy that day he took the time to show us a number of vehicles that we were interested in and was ready to offer us a fair market price. He did not hesitate to show us the CarFax Report and had no issues with us taking the vehicle to our own mechanic. When we decided not to purchase the vehicle we were promptly refunded our deposit and continued to be treated in a friendly and professional manner. The owner, Rick, was also very friendly, approachable, and ready to offer his services. We would go back there again.

I went here looking for a used vehicle, as I blew the engine on my other vehicle. Jason was the first person we saw in the parking lot, immediately greeted us and said I'll be with you in a minute. We sat down inside, he came in, greeted us again, and away we went. I DID NOT expect to find a vehicle here, but my god, this place delivers. Jason was super chill, and easy to deal with. We looked at a few vehicles, 2 of which were sold after we looked at them but luckily we found our prize. Tiff handled the financing in less than an hour and bam, our new vehicle was our. Best car buying experience I have EVER had.

When we first got there to buy our vehicle it was awesome, people were so king and nice. Truck had a engine code when we got home and when they took a look they seemed like completely different people, they were mean and barely wanted to help us with the engine light and said we didn't make an appointment even though we did. They said they would do interior detail and said they had but ended up not doing anything. They'll be nice to you until they've sold you a vehicle and after that it's just like they do a 180 and go completely opposite and start not being nice.

I would recommend McWilliam Auto if you need to buy an used car. I don’t know much about car and I didn’t have a friend with me when I purchased my car with them. But later my friend checked the engine and told me it’s totally worth of it. Also when there were some glitches, for example the battery was dead after 2 weeks when I was home. They immediately drove over and helped me start the car, twice. So finally it appeared to be the battery issue, they also changed it for me and had some other issues fixed as well. It’s really assuring doing business with them.

Best experience I ever had at a dealership! Tye was really informative and helpful in helping me pick a car, even going as far to be blunt with his honest opinions on all the cars I was curious about. I couldn't be happier with my Chevy!I owe it to Ore and McWilliam auto for making it possible -- after advising me about what Chevy would be best for my needs and not their wallets, Ore had the perfect one for me, and with his help, we struck a deal! honest, up front and extremely knowledgable about the auto business; I could have spent more time just chatting with him, his friendliness and genuine desire to help his customers is so refreshing! Very poor custom service. Talked to the receptionist to see a car and when I reach there, they say they can't show the car because of an issue. Absolutely no apology or regret from the person whatsoever. They do deserve a "0" star for their "exceptional" customer service. All this while they still had the car listed on kijiji. Unbelievable. I am amazed at how the people working there don't have a clue about what's going on with the products that they are selling. Buyers beware.

It was everything I expect in a sloppy 2nd hand store. My sales guy nothing short of creepy. His tall overbearing stature with clown hair gave me the creeps. He toned down when my dad came. He was really chatty and friendly like calm down, as if I would invite an uncle to a party. Like I just met you I'm here to buy a car. But we decided against it because my dad said you give off typical sleazie used car lot sales guy. All you need is a tweed suit with elbow patches.

It was a good exp at first not until I was told that I was just playing around. As a customer, you just want to get the best out of your pocket and to think he was the one to call me morning to come over to discuss. I went there and I was just being transparent that I am still shopping around... he told me to go to wherever dealerships and he doesn’t want to deal with someone playing around. I told him why would I go there if I am playing? Why would I waste my time?

Dealt with Ore and it couldn’t have been better. Honest and forthcoming with help. Found an issue with the vehicle I was looking at and was no longer interested n the vehicle. He didn’t pressure us to buy it and he respected our decision. Ended up getting another vehicle through him and I couldn’t have been more happier with my vehicle purchase. If you’re in the market for a new vehicle, go see Ore. he’ll get you going with the right vehicle for you.

Be very cautious when buying from this company dont trust the salesmen or their mechanics they tried selling me a 2011 ford explorer with severe engine problems visible foam on the oil cap and oil in the coolant revisor also with numerous electrical issues like signals not working un passable in a safety Also tried to make me give them a 500$ deposit non refundable for them to fix their own vehicle

Bought the biggest pos car I have ever owned in my life from there.whoever did thier safety passed it with flying colors took the car to canadian tire the horn didnt even work!took it back to McWilliams they "fixed" everything canadian tire failed. Had to put 4 new tires on every 6 months because the wheels wouldnt align.
