Interesting experience considering liquor stores are run by the state in NC. A little touch of communism doesn't hurt anyone, right? Immediately upon entering, there's a cop standing right there. Unfortunately, they didnt have Crown Royal XO (gray box). But, they had my goto - Jameson, for mixing. They had just about everything else. Capitalism, alive and strong. U-S-A.. U-S-A. Whatever, I just need the whiskey. I asked the clerk because I know some places keep that locked up. They didn't have it. The officer checked the shelves. Asked me about the XO. And it hit me. This gentleman isn't just security, HE DOING DOUBLE DUTY (as he sees fit, naturally). I appreciate that. Then.. THEN.. he suggestd a whiskey for me to try, claims it's better than Jameson -Tullamore DEW. So, I got a small bottle (not smallest) to try it out. Thank you, officer. And, it was better with Seagrams ginger ale. However, it is a little more harsh than but that makes it better for the mix. I liked the experience.

Had cashier Shiela who was immediately upset and angry when I came to her register. She tuned out what I asked for and when I asked for it again and pointed she said “I don’t know what you talkin bout. Which one?” I told her “the one behind you I commented on and said the full name of but I guess you didn’t hear me.” She says “I did hear you but we have so many” and points across to none I had pointed to. So basically she’s one of those cashiers who looks for an issue and If there isn’t one creates it to try to make you feel stupid so she can feel superior and better about her life as a cashier at a liquor store.

Great selection as always, perfect location if you're on the go. They always have the fan favorites. With all the breweries in Charlotte they do carry most of the local stuff as well. This is not like a corner liquor store, if you need it they have it. You can also speak to them about kegs if that is a need as well.

Despite NC's backwards, asinine liquor laws, the individual stores really do seem to be trying to do their best. The one off of Tryon in Charlotte is rather non-descript looking, but they really do have a good whiskey selection and do a great job of bringing in spirits from all over North and South Carolina.

Great selection, reasonable prices. The clerk was super helpful, pleasant to interact with, and knowledgeable about not only what they have in stock but exactly where it is. I was able to get in and out finding exactly what I was looking for in under five minutes. 10/10 will go again!

Guy was rude and made me sign a liquor permit because I had 1 large bottle of tequila and 3, 8 packs of high noon. Do yourself a favor and buy your liquor in South Carolina at a place like southern spirits. ABC is pathetic and state run so as you could imagine it’s pretty awful.

Cashiers were nice individuals. The band walking up and down the aisles was a total Grinch. Didn't want to help you, and I got the total impression he was Ill because he had to work on Christmas Eve. He's probably a government worker that should have been off today.

Pleasant staff, easy to navigate through the store. Because it is a relatively small store, the selection is not deep. If you want something mainstream, it’s likely to be there. Its location is convenient but accessing the street (Tryon) can be somewhat trying.

There is no open lines of upfront communication. But you will be talked about behind you back for sure. I don't understand what has sustained this company for so long, due to how far behind they are in technology and professionalism

Liquor doesn't have to be this way! The only thing gained by the state having a monopoly on liquor is revenue. Its ridiculous.... it isnt 1935. Get the state out of our business.... its serves no one. Vote Vote Vote Vote Vote!

Absolute cool cashier. I asked about a good dance club which plays hip-hop. She was very honest and straight forward about what the clubs were like. She kept it very chill with my buddy and I. :] ::high five::

During these months of July and Aug. Stock not on the rise. Wear your mask. They dont play. Hours for closing have changed at various or all locations to 9pm. Friendly staff. Nice size parking area next to QT.

They do a really good job of making sure you got your ID I tend to look like a child. Genetics is a trip .. however I got what I needed and headed home customer service is great for an ABC store …

Great service although a strange set up for me since I'm not from NC. Alcohol can only be purchased in an ABC Liquor store...Alcohol is not available in bodegas, corner stores or supermarkets …

I have a medical exemption from wearing a mask. Despite the law stating that I do not have to wear one because I have said exemption, they would not let me shop in the store. Follow the law.

Not giving this place a good nor bad review cause we only made it to the parking lot cause the route on maps took us everywhere and by the time we got there, it was closed.

Easy access and very convenient location. Lots of parking. Nice store with good selection as expected at NC ABC stores. Very quick in and out as typical.

Not sure why google is even asking for reviews. There is no option for ABC stores if you are in NC and want to buy any alcohol other than wine or beer

Super helpful people working here. Not just for finding what you're looking for, but mixing and drink ideas as well. Always a friendly environment.

Best staff ever, all of them. We’re new to town and they welcomed us and we had a good laugh. Will definitely be the store we go to from now on.

Nice store but I hate the parking. Normally its pretty accessible but lately people flood the parking lot who are not even going to the store.

The selection here is the best I've ever seen. The cashier was really friendly too. Plus I didn't feel out of place when I walked in.

Best (and only) place to buy liquor excepting wine and beer in NC. Great place to meet your nn alcohol drinking religious neighbors.

They got what you are looking for. Parking is easy as long as you come in the right way (not off trying, but the side street)

I typically don't need help but this time I did and the lady working the front counter was really helpful and friendly.

Ghetto just ghetto, to much going on. And they didn't have what I wanted, just wasn't expecting it to be like that.

This place is in the cut, I missed it the first time I drove past. Not as big or presentable as other ABC's.

Very well stocked store. Almost every product you need is here. Staff is also very helpful and kind.

There’s no parking. This ABC needs to move out of Southend or continue to monitor their parking lot
