For our wedding we wanted a car that was not only a pleasure to drive but one that would look fantastic in photos. As our venue was just over an hour out of Melbourne, we looked for a self-drive vehicle that we could hire over the weekend. My fiancé Joe loves vintage cars and I was so lucky to come across Melbourne Classic Car Rentals. They have a great selection of cars that are really well looked after and at reasonable prices. Michael was very helpful and I was able to book the stunning 1967 Mustang Fastback as a surprise for Joe. The Mustang was sparkling all ready to go, it ran beautifully and the sound! We sure did turn some head in it. Joe really enjoyed having the Mustang over our wedding weekend and it just topped off the whole occasion. It was very hard to take it back! I will classify my experience with Melbourne Classic car rental as worthy of 5 stars. From the point of first contact and through the process, I had no cause to vent or complain. Though I ended up not using their car because my partner wanted a car with a/c, so I ended up cancelling my booking. My initial deposit was refunded in full. No hassle. No dilly dally. Rang them to explain that I am cancelling and requested for full refund as per their T & C and it was promptly actioned. Loved their cars tho, but you gotta make your partner happy :)

My Husband and I hired the Bentley Continental GT as a Christmas treat - and what a treat it was! Michael efficiently ironed out the small wrinkles in our booking and even provided us with a requested Bluetooth interface, although often the sound of the engine was music enough. The Bentley is a definite 'head turner' and a Grand Tourer in every sense. Luxury, comfort and masses of power under the bonnet. I smiled all weekend. If only Australia had an Autobahn... We hired the 67 fastback from Saturday morning to Monday arvo. We spent sat driving around the yarra valley, and Sunday we drove through the Dandenong ranges and then down to mornington. The sound of the v8 burble, you don't need a radio. Thanks to the guys at melbourne classic car rentals for the amazing work they put into these classics, they look fantastic, sound magnificent and run like a dream. We had booked a car for the weekend but unfortunately had to cancel it. The whole refund process was so quick and hassle free.
