Went to Americas Best Glasses for eye exam & take back a pr of 250.00 glasses that the nose piece cut into the bridge of my nose. 2 weeks before the pandemic struck ai called Corporate headquarters to discuss the problem with them. They sent a letter to me offering a 40% discount on a new pair. They were closed due to pandemic for awhile, myself being immunocompromised didn't go back to that store until I had my vaccines was told by the mgr it had been to long and wouldn't honor the corporate letter to get another pr of glasses I had only worn them for 3 days because they are my nose bridge bleed & left a scar on my nose. The lady mgr who had waist length dread locks offered no apology, just told me ai had to buy new glasses! Also the optometrists ( asian descent) didn't sign me script or my friend who had her eyes examined as well neglected to sign her script either. She was in to big of hurry to go to lunch! I left without my letter being honored for another pr of glasses & no prescription! I haven't call Corporate Headquarters yet to make a serious complaint of the treatment I got from store mgr bit will Monday August 16,!! They were so disrespectful to me I left in tears. I ended up having to go to Urgent Care Clinic in the Heights due to my blood pressure getting so high from a anxiety attack from the trauma I endured.

THANK YOU. ......ONLY thing is I won't every go bavk to the 99 cent store next 2 Cricket & Fiesta. He quotes different prices thinking you'll forget. That's a rip off. That's a lie and cheat even though the Owner is pleasant SOMETIMES he'll make me wait and check out 5 to 10 people while I stand patiently for service. That's poor Customer Service. Yucky.....The Girls at Family Dollar are helpful and sweet. The checkouts at Fiesta are great. Enjoy that, but I noticed how shoppers there are very impatient. In a hurry 2 get somewhere slower than they think during Traffic hours acting like they have more money than time...lol....too funny.....lots of EBT there. NOW MARIA AT CRICKET IS A PLEASURE. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THAT KEEPS PEOPLE USING THEIR SERVICE. SHE'S AN ASSET TO WHOMEVER EMPLOYS HER. GLAD I MET HER AND SHE'S THE MANAGER AT THAT STORE.....

The bagger was a pain with her busy bodiedness! My infant was in my cart and I needed to arrange a few things to accommodate him. I would rather do that task alone due to covid and the need to keep strangers at a comfortable distance. This lady REALLY made me uncomfortable and my son was becoming agitated! And after all her bothersome suggestions, I quickly reassigned her away from me. I have ZERO issues with speaking up and asking someone to leave my personal space. She tried to "busy bee" her way to Starbucks and was sent away from there as well! If she wasn't recognized by her coworker, I would swear that she didn't work there! She was so off putting!

I like stores like this but I think the Bluetooth headsets that cost $20 are alittle too much. They are supposed to sound alittle on the stereo side if you know what I mean. But sadly that is not the case here... I mean hey people I understand these aren't Bose wave Bluetooth speakers or pioneers for crying out loud....lol. No...but seriously they sound like a tiny Twitter thats not stereo in the least. I guess if I want something at all they do have others...and that is why I like these types of stores...yes even biglots.

The store is ok. I didn't know they had an furniture area, that was entertaining for me and the kids to sit down on the furniture. The place could be cheaper.... At least about $4-$5 cheaper. They were the same prices I could had went to Walmart or Target. Discounted items and a conch cover is all we got. They're were done nice cute summer stuff gardening stuff but it was a tad too high. Got in the cards rewards club thing but OK... OK.. Can't say I would return. I use to shop there slit a few years ago on westhimer.

I absolutely love this Kroger, BUT they have one serious problem in their fish department. Every time I go in, it REEKS of spoiled fish which explains why I have bought fish TWICE that had gone bad. I thought it might rinse off, but it was spoiled all the way through. Very thoughtful management refunded me my money both times. They have a big store with a great selection and good people working there, so I will continue to shop there. I just will never buy fish from them again.

Visited the Ross there and not happy..I went shopping to grab my daughter a back pack. Maybe 3 people in store shopping at the time due to just opened. So I am in the purse section looking for purse backpack and hear over the intercom...purses..meaning lp was loudly pointing out to watch me as if I am some thief..not shopping at a Ross store again. I called the store and let in on the manager how tacky and rude to assume judgement on people specially in a decent neighbor Hood.

If it's convenient for parking, it is worth visiting. There is a Sally's shop for all your beauty needs. Also, other places to visit are Petco, Big Lots, Tuesday Morning, medical office. You might want to try out the new Asian restaurant. You can do your grocery shopping, fill up on gas, eat and maybe also visit Lucy's shop with a interesting collection of jewelry and vintage clothes. Last, but not least you may want to donate your old books at this center.

Today August 1st we went to Kroger's deli we waited there 5 minutes before they opened and they supposed to open at 11 a.m and they did not have no chicken ready it was 10 after 11 and we walked out the Kroger store without chicken because the cashier there at the deli was being rude to the Cook in front of the customers and I thought that was not nice my client and I will longer go there to the deli

  • woodlands Corvette estate 1 Cooper

Merchants Park is not what it used to be. No longer a full service Bank there, no longer a dollar store there, no longer RadioShack, but some good new additions such as America's best, Sally's Beauty, and CiCi's Pizza. I will continue to shop there because it is convenient to my home but I now have to look farther away for those Services they used to offer that they no longer do

  • Kirby Horwitz

They have pretty much everything you need. Kroger, Tuesday morning, big lots, cc pizza, O’Reillys auto parts, Kroger fuel station, Goodwill drop off and a Thrift shop on the Durham side. Parking is never a problem. If you live in the Heights you already know about this place if you’re going to the heights you’re going to pass it if you’re on Shepard.

  • Regi Gonzalez (Regi)

If you want to feel safe while you're out and about shopping for your daily family needs, then this is the place to go. This is a really nice area of the city, and I can honestly say that I always feel safe when coming here. Even when it's late at night, which is when I do a lot of my shopping. Lots of stores and fast food restaurants to choose from.

  • C CTx

I go to Petco and Kroger regularly. The Kroger is very large with a Pharmacy, Deli, Meat Counter, Salad Bar, Starbucks and a Kroger Gas Station. There's also a Tuesday Morning, a cute Boutique called Lucy's with Designer brands found at Nordstrom, a Big Lots, Sally Beauty, GNC, O'reilly Auto Store, Subway and Pappa Johns Pizza.

  • Lucy Santos

This center has about everything around from Sally's, Big Lots, Tuesday Morning, Lucy's. Also, there is a medical office, U T Physicians, plus one of my favorites Kroger with a Starbucks inside and great deli, plus a salad bar. If you need gas, fuel up at Kroger using their reward program on fuel.

  • joshua jeffers

The merchant park shopping center is everything in one .everbody from the family can come and you can get pretty much all your needs here if not wal greens just around the corner and the staffthere are great very nice atmosphere plus on the property not the wal greens has a security guard.

  • Jenifer Moore

I’ve lived in The Heights for 22 years and LOVE all the new restaurants in our area. Common Bond is my fav for a cuppa and scone. Hippy Daddy has a fresh, fantastic burger. Haven’t tried the vegan or noodle place but will get there! Come see and shop all of 19th Street, we love company!

  • Mellissa Wright

Parking spaces are too small side-to-side for larger passenger vehicles to fit and open doors to get out or back in, the aisle in between rows of parking spaces is too small for larger passenger vehicles to back out of, and there are not nearly enough handicapped parking spaces.

  • Kenneth Wenzel

This is an older shopping center that has recently been overhauled. The main store is probably the Kroger grocery. There are stores ranging from gas stations, to O'Reilly's, Overstocked, and Papa John's Pizza. Easy in and out free parking lot that is handicapped accessable.

  • C A (COWBOYS)

Been a loyal Kroger customer for 30 years. Today I finally threw in the towel and went to HEB on Washington . There's just no comparison. Unfortunately Kroger offer a very small fraction of fresh choices that HEB provides. Im not a middle of the isle shopper.

  • mario estrada

Very nice place lots of shopping spaces all around huge parking lot you are welcome to walk Around anytime and you will always find something to shop around for very nice place and you’ll find yourself a very cozy atmosphere come visiting and enjoy the place

  • James Belk III

this is an older strip shopping center nothing fancy. but has a nice selection of stores there is a very nice Kroger's plus there is a cici's Pizza a Big lots store a automotive parts place and a Papa John's Pizza on the outer edge of the parking lot

  • Mayra Ortega

Safe little shopping center that has many different stores. From Kroger to Big Lots and Dentist Office to Nail Salon. This is a good, Safe area to shop at. And of course...your dogs needs can be taken care of as well! They have a dog supply store!

  • Dana Wong

Kroger is open 24 hours. Starbucks inside has free WiFi. Good selection of fast food and local restaurants here and close by like Papa John's, Popeye's Chicken, Subway, Burger King and Cici's pizza. Budget friendly shopping at Big Lots and Ross.

  • Magdalena Walker

I was lost on ifinding items and a young nice, helpful lady name Desiree from the dely department helped me. She went beyond her job to help me. I'm a senior and i dont get around .. Thankyou Desiree hawkins from Krogers@ merchants park …

  • DUTCH-CHRISTOPHER

Busy as usual, but offers a variety of essential and non-essential shopping which allows you to get a whole lot done in one place. The Kroger grocery store there has a great selection and a staff that at least treats me well the O'Reilly's

  • Brandon MadViking Becker

I go to the market every Saturday I can. Everyone is so friendly and the products are always amazing and to the utmost quality. If you haven't been I highly recommend it, bring the kids with you and get out of the house for some fresh air

  • Erin The Red

Biggest grocery store in the area, but it's not great. Parking lot is always crazy. Lots of unremarkable shops in the rest of the strip mall. Petco is always nice and easy to get in and out of, and parking on that end isn't as congested.

  • Sunnifa Lofstrom

Beware if you work here, not good they only favor the problem ro the manager. The owner needs to ask why the stylist quit. They favor with their own kind. I hope the owner will call me. The new commer fresh from the school got more pay .

  • Jessica Hickey

It's a strip center. I only go there to fill up my car @ the Kroger gas station & I use America's Best for my eye care services. There are many other stores in the center, however those are the only 2 places I frequent.

  • T Garcia

Horrible outside. There's homeless outside begging for money. The store ( DD's) has an awesome selection of clothing and shoes...no fault of DD's staff as I can only assume they have no control over what happens outside

  • Lea Ivey

Just going by places filled with memories of yesteryear. Nothing changes if no one changes. Still busiest Kroger parking lot in all of Houston.... I almost missed my hometown til I saw all that traffic....

  • Jonathan Nassar

It's a shopping strip... it's pretty big with a wide variety of businesses, some nice, some not as nice. It seems to be getting progressively safer over time, but be careful if you're walking around.

  • Rhonda Crawford

I would have given them a 5 but that store is always full of stocking carts or curbside. It's hard to maneuver around them. They should stock at night. Store will be fresh and clean for the next day.

  • Carrie Arndt

Includes a 24hr Kroger, a gas station with competitive prices, a Subway restaurant, discount stores, a Petco and more. Easy to get a lot of chores done in one strip mall, for a respectable price.

  • Carla Price

I always love coming to this location. It's in a great location and has almost all of your needs covered. There's Kroger, Big Lots, medical, eye care, pet care, clothing, eats, and much more.

  • Delores Scarcella

Merchants Park Chef's have been there for a long time the change out sometimes change to the better actually they got more shops in there now than they used to back in the 60s and 70s.

  • Myrto

Very organized and compliant to CDC regulations regarding covid. Customer service is excellent. If I could improve something, it would be the architecture - it's a bit of an eyesore.

  • Ayeshia Powell

A pretty decent shopping center but can be hard to get out of the parking lot during rush hour. I usually stop by for a few groceries from Kroger or cinnamon rolls from Cici's, yum.

  • Paula Sitter (QUEEN)

Went to Krogers, its always well stocked, friendly staff, enough of what you need, and even things you forgot. For the Heights its the largest Krogers around. Even has Starbucks.

This center has absolutely everything I need for everyday life. The only thing that would make it better is if they opened up a Dollar Tree in this center!!!❤ …

  • Alfred Molison

I stopped here to fiddle with my cell phone maps. The parking was a bit tight and busy but it was flat and black! It worked quite well as I eventually drove off of it.

  • Odell from da SSIPP

Stopped here for beer and realized they had a bar inside the store. Stayed for a drink since I wasn't in a rush. Cashier was friendly and the wine was chilled.

  • Ward Herbert

Elva at Suoercuts is the best. I am familiar with this Kroger so it works for me. The guys at Oriley are fair and competent. The GNC store is well run.
