Do not call this place. The dispatcher is rude and unprofessional. The driver called and said he'd be late and then arrived with strangers in the car and said he had to do a couple of drops. There's no way this is a legitimate business. The driver was breaking the speed limit everywhere, and I'm willing to bet money this guy has unpaid tickets or a suspended license. I asked to be dropped off anywhere because I wanted to get out and he basically said no. Then he dropped me off at the wrong place and then charged me a ton. Is this what it was like before ride share apps?

I use to love this car service but they starting to piss me off very unprofessional the dispatcher told me there’s a cab available made me wait 1 hour and then when I called back to see if it’s still coming she said 20 mins and then I waited Another hour and called back for her to tell me there’s no cabs available right now like why the hell did she make me waited for so long should of told me that from the beginning so I can get another car service . Very poor if ur looking to get to somewhere on time don’t call them !!

Be careful with this company..woman on phone said price was $8 and then driver looked at me and said $10 then he said "me not tryin to rip ya off" lol. I wasn't in the mood for an argument so I just stayed in the car but I thought that it was shady being given two prices. The car took 10 minutes to arrive .Driver got lost even though he had GPS ??He then told me to just give him $8 since my house wasnt as far away as he thought but I just gave him the $10 anyway since I always like to tip.

Terrible driver called: Mohammed, Rahman, left my resident and CNA on the side of the road. Screaming at them deliberately, after purposely driving them to the wrong location. Luckily, the dispatcher from the company quickly came to the scene to deescalate the situation and apologized for the driver's vulgar and inhumane behavior. People like that should be terminated from their job post immediately!!!

MY FIANCE CONTACTED ME AND INFORMED ME THAT HE LOST HIS NYS DRIVERS LICENSE IN THE CAB. I CALLED THE CAB STAND TO INFORM THEM THAT MY FIANCE LOST HIS NYS DRIVERS LICENSE THE CAB. I INFORMED THE RECEPTIONIST THAT MY FIANCE HAD A FLIGHT IN THE MORNING AND HE NEEDS HIS DRIVERS LICENSE. THE RECEPTIONIST LAUGHED AT THE SITUATION AND REFUSED TO REACH OUT TO THE CAB DRIVER. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS.

Dispatcher (female) is definitely unprofessional. When a driver was dispatched to my location pickup, he looked at us & said " you have too much stuff" & drove off. I had asked for a van or large car for this purpose and the driver drove a S.U.V. so there shouldn't have been a problem. As many of the Reviewers have stated - I will never use this company again. And will never recommend them.

I wanted to say thank you to the one female dispatcher and the car driver, I was able to move the pet in a kennel and the driver was courteous and professional I had called 3 car services in the area and was denied a car service for the simple task of transporting a kenneled cat to almost 15miles away to it's new home.....Thank you Merrick Car Service....

Merrick car service was good and the driver was very respectful the only problem I have was that they gave me one price and then when I called back a half an hour it was another price that was the only thing only thing I would like for the price to stay consistent wherethere's no change; I will use your services in the near future!!!!!

The dispatcher woman is unprofessional the worst service ever the lady is rude and needs to get fired immediately people are better off with Uber than these base cabs its not worth it and then make you late for work they need to shut this business down immediately 311 will be call upon them for the unprofessionalism

A year ago I would not have recommended this car service. However, I have seen some great changes over the past few months. The dispatchers are more polite and the drivers are more reliable. I was surprise with the changes in the most recent service. Keep up Merrick Car Service. They must have changed management

I was too lazy to walk to the liquor store so I took a round trip with this service and ended up paying $20 because I gave the driver a nice tip. He was a nice man and the service was prompt but I am walking or taking the bus with a shopping cart from now on. These Laurelton car services charge too much money.

Called for a cab early this morning was told it would be there in five minutes. Twenty minutes later no cab, so I called again and got the same bs response "cab is on its way". Cab never showed up. That's terrible! I ended up getting to work late. Will definitely be the last time I call this place.

The Car Service was excellent. The drivers were knowledgeable and courteous. The fare is reasonable for the destination and the drivers knew how to avoid the busier roads en route. I would happily recommend Merrick Car Services to anyone who appreciates excellent service.

HORRIBLE !!!! USE UBER OR LYFT INSTEAD! Lazy and unprofessional dispatch. Driver’s are old and only knows dinosaur/caveman routes. Asked for the address 3 times just for me to get in the cab and the driver ask me where I’m going again. If I could give zero stars I would.

I call this base every day and I’m always late to work because they don’t dispatch a car until 20 minutes later, when I’m a 3 minute drive away, literally around the corner... the disappointing part is they tell me a car is available and then still have me wait

They are bullshitters. I called three blocks away with my son in the cold. They said 25 minutes I walk down there and they have three drivers just sitting around talking. I even heard her speak to a driver before she put me on hold.

Love it....came on time... driver was friendly and informative on the best route to take ...pricing was fair and not made up...overall experience was great ....will definitely call this car service again. ....

They told me my car will be there in 10mins..30mins later when I called back they said it came but no one answer the phone when my phone was right next to me..BULLSHIT and they wonder why UBER winning..

I always use this car service tge apps are starting to get more and more expensive so when I need to budget my money 9 times out of 10 merrick car service got you. Drivers are pretty cool too.

Horrible company. You can call and make a reservation but it’s not like they’ll show up. When you call to find out where they are, they will gaslight you, curse you out, and hang up.

Had to call back 3 times to find out where the driver was. Waited over 45 minutes, and when he finally arrived there was a passenger in the front seat. First and last time.

Never answer calls the first time, never have cars and answer the phone like you disturbed them. Amazed how they are still in business...

Prices are good compared to others nearby. They come in a timely manner, clean vehicle. The dispatcher calls when they are outside.

Cab driver that was sent was very pleasant and a joy to have been driven by. Will definitely be using this cab service again.
