I don't write reviews, but here i am. Food and service is usually good. The problem is professionalism. The door sign clearly states they open at 7am. Not only that the menu for the deli clearly states 7:30am. I went several days in a row to grab breakfast sandwiches for co-workers. Two of the days there where people outside waiting just like me. I get it...shifts change and there's no reason to open so early...then why not change the sign on the door?! I get changing the menu might be an issue due to marketing cost, but the sign on the window...it takes absolutely no effort to change that. That shows a total lack of care for their product. I'm giving them a 2 because the food is good and people are usually friendly during lunch, but I can't imagine the amount of irritated customers showing up for breakfast after grabbing a to go menu...just to sit and wait outside the door till the workers feel like showing up. I called in the first day and a guy called me back at 7:53am. At least he called back. The second day I called and they answered at 8:00am. I asked him what time do they open. His response: "around 8 or so". That says everything right there. Well...I guess your loyal customers will continue to wait outside until "around 8 or so" or maybe just maybe you'll show a little professionalism and actually show up when you said you would.

Edit: I don't think censorship of the post is appropriate, so see below unfairly 1-star review because I disagree with the business practices. To address the owner: he is right that this is not the place to review business practices but only experiences of the food. If reserving parking lot spaces and enforcing it himself is what the customer wants, business is business no matter the impact on neighbors. Owning a business is hard, and I'd rather see a private owned business be rewarded than a chain conglomerate. Guy on the register can't undo transactions . Okay I understand... But then blames you for not wanting to buy something. He won't let me have the line in the back of me.go before me. He's raising is voice and making me feel so bad when all I want is for the other people to go before me. He won't let that happen... He makes me stand there and transfer money to this card that I already I thought I loaded.. why would he do that. I felt embarrassed. I don't know why I did I shouldn't have. I had the money but for him to make me stand in line in front of everyone to transfer because he couldn't undo the register he kept saying.. A horrible experience

geez.....the freaking wait time . Food is really pretty good, employees are All pretty nice & personable, but if it's going to be 30, 45, 60 minutes....then just be honest and tell me that. used to go here several times a week for lunch, but stopped because they would always say 10-15 minutes, or 15-20 minutes when calling an order in ahead of time. Then you get there, and it ends up being a solid 30-40 minutes every single time. Tried them again today, called the order in, was told "15-20 minutes." I got my sandwich....ONE sandwich 53 minutes after I preordered it . Pretty sure I'm just done with this place now. That's just ridiculous.

i received delivery from Knockout Deli. I ordered 3 sandwiches just to try them. The amount of mayonnaise and toppings made me reject the first sandwich. i made it through the 2nd sandwich nearly 1/3 of the way before getting very nauseous. These sandwiches are for a person who loves large quantities of fat. I'm not prissy, but I couldn't eat these sandwiches without feeling sick.

THE BEST SANDWICHES!!! I'm a little picky when it comes to my sandwiches.. but this place is understanding and accommodating. I've only had their hot sandwiches, however I won't even go to jersey mike's anymore after I found this place. Only bad thing is they close really early. Their sandwiches are by far the BEST I've ever had. Well worth your $$!!

I got here by “accident” to get couple sandwiches for friends, what a surprise! The best deli that we ever try In all San Diego! Trust me , is a must to try! You will not regret ! Daaaannngg!! Driving from Mexico definitely we will be back ASAP , love it !! …

I love a good sandwich and stray away from the usual boring sub shops. My boss turned me on to knockout deli and wow! The sandwiches are great! Friendly staff as well. I have never had a sandwich that was 5 star worthy before these guys. Keep up the good work and good food!!

Love this place! My office is just around the corner and we've been walking here for years. They've made some major improvements and it's made great even better. Whether its Beer Friday or an Intern that forgot their lunch, Knockout Deli is always here for us!

Ordered the 12” Philly and it should be called a veggie sandwich. I muscled down 1/2 of it. The photo is 1/2 of the sandwich with the veggies removed. It’s large bread and veggie sandwich for over $16..no thanks. Will not be going back.

Dude was super pushy to up sell the sandwich that adds an extra pound of meat or something, I got it regular and it was definitely plenty of meat. The sandwich was great but i was super annoyed with this up sale gimmick .

Sandwich was mostly bread I have had sandwiches here before and I’m bummed they changed the amount of meat on the subs.....definitely not worth it there are better places to go now I know why my sandwich was made so fast

First time ordering 32 minutes later for 2 sandwiches and of course to top it off wrong sandwiches. Check your order before you leave. Tasty 1 sandwich didn’t eat the other that I’d never order due to potential allergy.

Friendly with no complaining I know this store for many years they never have no problems with nobody most the time when I am doing work in this area i like to come over I would recommend this place to everyone peace

BEST SANDWICHES!!!! The guy at the counter was super patient & helpful while I was choosing my lunch. He offered insight to counteract my indecisiveness. This will most definitely be a weekly spot for me. LOVE

I love this place. I eat there practically every day. Same sandwich too. Tangy Turkey... its delicious. The guys making the sandwiches are amazing and cool. Great customer service.

The owner was super nice and helpful. He was really knowledgeable about the different brews and cider. great prices. Lots of selection including Pliny the elder! I'll be back.

Pretty tasty subs inside a beer shop / convenience store. Huge variety of sandwich selections & sizes. Too much mayo on the sandwiches for me, so I get my mayo on the side.

This is one of my favorite places to grab beer and a sandwich. The beer selection is awesome and their sandwiches are very tasty. The staff is a joy to deal with as well.

All the alcohol, with tasty sandwiches, and wraps to go with it! Plenty of parking too. Breakfast before 10:30am. It's all you need today...

Great sandwich but they don't let you use their restroom so can't give more than one star. They have one... It's just "not for public use"

This place is amazing. Big sandwiches with awesome combos. I stumbled upon it and I was hungry this place did not disappoint.

Some prices are reasonable, others are ridiculous. EH Taylor small batch is $35.99 retail. These guys Charge $99.99!

This liquor store is typical but this sandwich deli they have there is REAL good. There is limited parking there.

Not very nice to order a gyro and get beef jerky meat that isn’t even soft. This place should not sell gyros.

They charge you more for beer items than what is posted on the shelf. Whatever happened to fair pricing?
