I have used this new, attractive, conveniently located on a state highway (522), several bus routes, and secure (when they are closed, no one can get inside, isn't that the way it should be?) heated storage facility for five years now. I use it to store personal goods and some of my business records and inventory for my "Dr. QuickBooks and Quicken - I make house calls" consulting business that helps people setup their books, reviews what they have done, provides support and troubleshooting, and trains them one on one. I find the hours (8-8 M-F, 8-7 Sat, and 9-6 Sun at the time of this writing) very convenient for someone who works during the day. Like most businesses, I am glad that they give their employees federal holidays off and they have been upfront with me about when they are open and when they are closed. Tommy, the manager is friendly and easy to deal with. He frequently has coffee brewing and the bathrooms are kept very clean. I do agree that if you come to the office they sometimes are closed because they are busy serving other potential clients but that is the nature of small businesses. If they always had two people in the office, we would have to pay for it with higher rental storage fees. If you want to pay over the phone, they do take credit cards. They recently knocked out a wall so their users could use one of two elevators instead of one in the two covered loading bays with plenty of parking inside. That made using the place more convenient. If you get a unit on floors four, five or six, be aware that those floors get very warm (six) in the summer but stay nice and at room temperature in the winter. Floors one, two, and three are the opposite. Best bet are floors three and four. I have referred two friends and one neighbor to this heated storage facility.

Best storage facility I've ever worked with! Over the years both me and my son have rented units at Metro Heated Storage and we can't say enough about our experience. In addition to a great location, the facility offers convenient accessibility via a covered garage. It's clean, bug-free, freight dollies are always available, and security protocols are top-notch. Free rental of the moving truck has been a real bonus (a time and money saver for sure) and the freight elevators are sizable. We were able to move a 6' high by 8' long by 2' wide shelving unit whole and unassembled (and into the truck too). The staff is awesome. Tommy is always responsive and professional and the new manager, Scott, has been great to work with.

I have used this place twice. Once in between places and another when my husband first moved in with me. Its temperature controlled, is super secure, incredibly friendly staff, reasonable pricing and one time I had an issue with billing and they fixed it IMMEDIATELY with the greatest customer service seeing that it was their error. We moved away, but I would TOTALLY reccomend them for those in the area. They also play music on all the floors so its not creepy quiet, and they let you use a moving truck on your move in or move out for free if the driver has full coverage insurance. Great place!! Plus, they have bathrooms incase you suddenly gotta go when moving!

Metro Heated Storage is a great option for parking/storage and takes care of its loyal customers. Very clean and secure facility. I kept my vehicle there for 7 months inside their heated garage. I didn’t have to worry about weather damage, animals, and all of my belongings were in the exact condition I had left them. The facility has security cameras, great staff and management. Metro Heated Storage was able to help accommodate my needs when I checked my vehicle out and I am very grateful for this. I highly recommend this company for long-term parking or storage as they are reliable, friendly, and exemplify integrity. Thank you tremendously Metro Heated Storage!

Was really lucky Andrew Miller was working and able to help me with renting my unit. He went above and beyond the call of duty to be sure I was well taken care of. I arrived close to closing time and it was a hectic situation with all of the movers I hired to unload and get set up. However, Andrew remained calm and professional and made sure I had everything I needed. Thank you Andrew!! Andrew is the reason this place gets a 5 star. Word to movers - watch the time you arrive, as it takes at least 30 minutes to process the paperwork, even if you've already paid and when they close, the elevators shut down and you cannot be inside the unit.

I had a great experience renting here. The staff is friendly and the building is secure and climate controlled. Each locker has it's own independent alarm as well. They have good hours so access was a breeze (it is not 24 hr). They have a big loading dock that can easily fit big trucks. There are plenty of big flat carts to use as well. They also have a 17' truck available for rent. You get one free use of the truck your first month of renting as well. They also sell moving supplies at a decent price in the lobby.

Metro is one of the best storage facilities in the Seattle area from my experience. I've had some bad experiences at a few, particularly Public, which I'll not go back to. But Metro has been good. It may not be the cheapest but you'll get great service from friendly, competent staff. The facility is clean and doesn't smell (like some other places do). The location is also great if you're in N. Seattle, right on LCW. It almost feels like a hidden gem.

Excellent location easy access with large wheeling dolly carts to move everything around. Heated, very well lit and safe. Prices are better than anything closer in town when I researched. Great staff and very reasonable with needs.

Kisa was so helpful and informative when we came to look at storage units! He was easy to talk to and answered all of our questions! The building is very clean and secure and easy to access. Would recommend!

Friendly and flexible; they let me change up my storage unit when I arrived and realized the dimensions weren't what I was looking for. The facility is clean, safe, secure, and pretty easy to access.

Nice facility with great load zone areas in the basement. Rates are decent and they have a free truck for the initial load in. Spaces are heated and they have many dollies available.

Convenient location, with easy access to the elevator, and good security. No late night access, but that keeps things more secure because no one else is in there late at night.

This place charges way to much and they always let a cop sit right in front by their ac unit and speed trap people on lake city way
